He improvises and changes it live, which is what sets him apart from other guitarists that stick to the records exactly. As a guitarist I can appreciate some improve. But the vast majority of ticket buyers want to hear the song on the record. The sad truth has always been that Paige can't play them His live playing has always been atrocious.

Hell yeah he's come up with some great riffs. But that was in a studio... Anyone can sound good in a studio.

Say what you want about Eddie but even his biggest detractors have to admit that Van Halen has always been a killer live band... Zeppelin, not so much.

There are mistakes and missed notes through the whole thing, it's not really that fast (though speed doesnt always matter), it's not particularly melodic save for the very beginning and a few seconds in the middle, and the tone is mediocre at best.
