Its great to see pic's from the ride. My heart was broken in july when my wife and i lost our daughter at 20 1/2 weeks. They say she was just not far enough along. Thats when my mind was made up that no matter what i would be riding for every parent out there so that they wont have to go through what we went through. And i plan on riding for many years to come. That was the first time i had ever been a part of something so huge. It was enough to make this grown man cry.
I am so proud to call kansas city my home, i dont ride personally but it makes me happy to know that this city raises more money every year to help with birth defects, with out the march of dimes those babies wouldnt stand a chance, congratulations on over $600,000 raised by over 8,500 bikers. 10,000 NEXT YEAR
Thanks, I do so many Charity rides. There are Poker runs and fund raisers for a lot of smaller charities locally and also for some fellow friends who have hardships. Our pipes may be loud, but so our our hearts. Besides, if my pipes are not loud, how can I compete with mp3 players, cell phones, sterio's, GPS, onboard video's, passenger distractions, and drive daydreaming? Get the word out, we depend on being seen and heard, both for our lives and those who we ride to support.
OMG this is right next to me!
