I would much rather know about Uruguay's government and institutions. The living will take care of itself if I can be assured that my finances and assets will make it down there in one piece.
What is the employment situation like? What is the social atmosphere like? Do the people feel like they are living in a reasonably moral and just society? Does the CIA have a presence down there? How exposed are Uruguayan banks to the IMF? What is the nature of political and social discussion in Uruguay?
