America is a cool place, but the one thing I HATE about America, is it`s health care. I am sorry, but you cannot deny how expensive health care is down there. It`s quite stupid really. An they will usually try to tell you; "It`s experimental!" yeah right. -_-

I think you should definitely get a second opinion. I completely understand how you feel, its scary but remember that just because your DR is nice it doesnt mean he isnt just trying to make money or isn't wrong. Don't worry too much about it, take it a day at a time, Im sure you will be just fine. and since u need money you should start making more videos to help out with that. tee..hee
@TheSweetDream And even if he's not in it for the money, that doesn't mean he's always right. Kate, your acne is nowhere NEAR as bad as mine gets. Mine's largely hormonal due to stress, but I also had it aggravated a few years ago due to a staph infection. Even after that cleared up, every time I'm stressed I turn into a dalmation, I swear. And I've tried lots of treatments too. So I'd check with a different *type* of doctor, like, one for internal medicine, to verify the diagnosis.
Maybe consider mildly cleaning out your digestive system for 5-10 days with only fresh (home made) vegetable juices and fresh fruit & veg. It can do wonders for your wellbeing and skin.

I've never heard of acne needing internal surgery. I'm incredibly suspicious about all of this. I'd get a second opinion before doing anything really expensive or intrusive as surgery. And one additional bit of advice - if this doctor is suggesting a hormonal treatment - watch out. Those are dangerous and I'm talking from experience. You're in my thoughts.

Hiya Kate, you sure had me scared, for moment , I almost had tears here thinking you had cancer , I sure hope what ever the problem is that the treatment goes really well and that you will be ok, Big prayers for you.

You know its OK to cry right? The dedikaters shouldn't care. Once they find a reason you'll feel better. I was just diagnosed with a hiatus hernia. BTW I love the tea stash.

Aw Kate, I hope all is well. I understand the whole medical thing. I spent months seeing doctors for my hip and it SUCKS but in the end trust me, you are going to have a very interesting story to tell ;)
