No one seems to know, except perhaps his close acquaintances. Last year, a photo of Van's actor friend started rumors. He was at Van's Die Mommie Die premiere. Van even thanked him in the program. The weird thing about the photo is that the guy wore the identical shirt Van did in his PR photo. They may have bought the the same shirt but some say that they're lovers who share clothes.

Love this scene!! And I don't actually think its very awkward for them; someone asked Jake in an interview (idk which one) if the scenes were awkward, and he said that as long as they know exactly why their character is doing what they are doing, its not awkward at all.

Anyways, they are both such amazing actors!!! And they have to be so comfortable with each other to do this, whether they know why their character is doing it or not!! Simply amazing!!

That's why they call it acting, right? Jake seemed pretty uptight at times for awhile, but I think he's really coming into his own. It's obvious that the two are very talented and have a genuine chemistry, along with a good off screen friendship.

His character is also much less uptight than he used to be.

I'm figuring that this scene was deleted for time constraints rather than content, as kissing seems to be more "offensive" than affection. Either way, these actors are absolutely amazing. It really seems genuine, and that's hard for someone on the "opposing" team to pull off.

I think you'll enjoy today's eppi. Not only is Luke's purred "What do I need to do to get your vote" super sexy, but the way he just annihilates Noah with kisses at the end is adorable. It's great.

This is one of the most romantic scenes featuring Luke and Noah. Too bad it was deleted from the 10-1 episode. Nuke kisses are pretty routine now so I'd love to see more cuddling. I wonder if it's awkward for the actors to do these. Jake is known to be straight, but viewers seem undecided about Van.

I'll say it again: The small town of Oakdale must be one of the most gay-friendly places on Earth. You don't see such public affection among gay teens even in liberal New York City. Keep in mind that this is Olde Towne, where everyone seems to meet, so it's very very very public.

We've all become used to Van's wonderful gestures and detailed acting. But Jake is also great. Remember the cute hand motion when he tossed the mushroom into the bag? Well, we see it again here, when Noah says "just a little." And note that Noah touches Luke first in this scene, and several more times later. The affection seems so real, so natural.

None of these little details are written in the script. Van said that they often don't know what the actors will do until the actual shoot.

I agree about wanting more cuddling. I really do feel like we're getting close to them having sex. In today's (10-13) episode I felt a real sexual intimacy to their kisses and flirtations. I really hope when they do finally do it, we get to see them cuddle, lol.

I agree it's probably really hard for the actors, but I feel like they've adjusted SO well. Compared to a year ago everything seems so much more natural.
