This is just so absolutely amazing! I can't get enough of it... Thank you for the comment which inspired me to spend my entire morning grooving to your wonderful jams!
I remember you said you had audio files somewhere... is their anyway I could get a copy of your tunes so I could listen even more? I'll pay with $ and Smiles!! :-)
WOW! the audio is superb! great job with converting.. seems like that took a lot of work, but it is definitely worth it :) and if i could play the guitar like you... W O W! you play it beautifully, glad we came across eachother :) and bonus- i can see both your hands AND your face while you play- nice angle :) five stars!
Velvina39: Hello! Thanks for the lovely compliment ... it's been a while. I took a break for a couple of months. It helps sometimes ... at least when you return everything feels fresh again.
PhilosopherFresh: Thak you very much! If you wish to provide me with an email address, I've got some information you might be interested in looking at. I need an email address because there are some screenshots which cannot be sent using the YouTube internal mail system.
HAHA!tooks me almost five minutes to recognize you brother!viewed your vid because of the fav of jesseguitar, always interested about sophisticated technicals stuffs.....and i realize .WOW it's my buddy littlemicky!
ivmar1: Hello ther my good friend! Sorry about the delay ... i've been busy with some new experiments and they have taken up far too much of my time.
Anyway, it's back to the business of getting in touch with all my talented friends here on Youtube. Send me an email address ... I've got some technical information that you might be interested in. i need an email addres so that I may send you the screenshots of all the settings.
One day I hope I can play music just like you. haha. and you showed youtube that even "poor" people can make awesome videos :D with awesome sound quality! and thats the number one thing that comes to song videos. haha
darkunitx; Thanks for a great comment! These experiments have been fun ... at least it proves a decent video can be made with a good soundtrack just using freeware applications, a webcam and a basic soundcard.
It will give more incentive to people on a tight budget! Quality sound has become the norm in society and it's good to see YouTube improving things a bit.
Upscaling may not do much for the video quality, but it does allow users to stream AAC audio, which sounds brilliant. It might even be the best you will get on the web currently, because theoretically, even 5.1 surround sound should be attainable now, but I have not done much testing to confirm it.
RedInf3rno: A quick visit to your channel tells me that you are a Manga fan! I'll check out some of your stuff later. Yes, your comment is excellent. I often carry out experiments to determine just how much quality can be achieved without spending loads of money.
5.1 is possible - YT compression only comes in to play at 2048Kbps on a 720p video. I'm not too fussed about the picture quality - I was after good sound and I think that I am beginning to get somewhere. continued ...
RedInf3rno: #2:I deliberately kept the video @1200Kbps and AAC audio @500Kbps. I uploaded about 30 test videos set to private viewing until I got satisfactory results. A few of my friends have reported playback problems on older, slower machines: I'm getting great results with a 6 year old machine running a 1.7Ghz Athlon and XP with 1.5Ghz RAM. Just enter "720p videos youtube" into your browser and you will find some great tips. If you want any extra info -let me know. Knowledge is for sharing.
RedInf3rno: #3: One of the good things about this technique is that old videos with great soundtracks can now be transcoded and enjoyed with much improved audio quality. I've found some great freeware applications which do the job very well and include cropping facilities to adjust the picture to suit.
JesseGuitar07: Again, sorry about the delay in replying! I've been a ted busy with all the "Watch in HD" experiments ... normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!
It's great to see your incredible talent being so well supported ... I see great things happening in your life. Take care and enjoy the summer.
Ahh!! A nice mellow one!! Hey for 20 I think it looks Great!! I think if you move back just 1 foot it will be a little clearer. The plant is in focus and your a little soft but over all I do like it and it is nice to fill the screen. The song is wonderful!! Thanks!*****Duke
yogaduke: Hey ... don't forget! You set me off down this road of discovery ... I can't afford a Hi-Def camera and I wanted to see if it could be done with a cheap webcam.
Your videos set me off on a voyage of discovery ... you're a fine friend to have and an inspiration to many. There are times when I wish that we weren't separated by so many miles of ocean ... never mind: the human spirit reaches far beyond geographical boundaries.
