well HELLO AD!! Haven't seen you around for so long... partly me as well I guess, I have reduced my internet presence to almost NOTHING now. But still plugging on.
So is this your new venture...? your gallery/coffeeshop?
Bit of a departure for you to landscapes no? I know you have done some before but I love your faces and hope to see more of those.
Good luck with whatever you are up to now, anyway (BTW I hope your head is OK??)
I have recorded most of it and at some point I will take the time to upload.
This was the first landscape ive done since college. Though portraits are my passion, I long to be a street artist so what better subjects then the streets them selfs.
Really liked this video and the message behind it. I can so relate about living in a small place. I guess there are good things about living in the country and city! But for an artist to make a decent living then the city is the best option...although the internet has helped a lot to get exposure. Liked how the painting turned out ;)
I miss Caribou sometimes.... Although I want to do a painting of Las Vegas.... D: That would be hard, but fun... If Only I lived on the top floor of the apartment. :|
@Chasems97 :) Thank you. This was a personal one for me, showing more of my thoughts and soul as a person, beyond the canvas and my life as an artist.
@PuppyZwolle You never stop amazing me with your interpretations of perspectives of my work....cause yes...I went back and forth with the two views. I started out on ground level...but decided to go above so more ppl would see me. Therefore I fought the whole time with angles and proportions.
Everything happens for a reason and in due time I will land where I was meant to be. Thank you for your continued support as I continue on my journey!
@TimmyGrins Someone very wise once told me, "I strive to be something gained" Though I feel honesty is an extension of my self expression as an artist, its also the core of who I am as a person.
Most hospitals have blanket warmers (just ask the nurse). Sometimes when words dont help calm or sooth, a warm blanket can better medicine than the drugs in the IV pump. Just a thought.
this was nicely done and love the story behind it, loved watching it...

@oWHONERSo Thanks Mr.
This online community is changing more and more every time I log on. The new format is kinda whack. I need to invest some time around here.

Now that is what i would call "making it your own". You did the sketch from ground level and did the painting from the roof. Practical choice I guess?
I hope life will be kind to you and you will find a home with love and peace where ever you find yourself.
