My suggestion is not to arrest him through police as a suspect, but to jail him as a convicted criminal. For that, there must be several cases in courts against him.

Anyone can criticise a police arrest as a political revenge. But, everyone will respect a court decision. (no choice)

Trust on our legal system. Obviously, he has breached the Constitution of Sri Lanka.
