Now, I'm not sure about this. I know the Holy Spirit came down like fire and wind on the Day of Pentecost and I attend a Pentecostal church but I've never seen this before. I have also heard about Kenneth Copeland and he is a con man. However, my greatest experience with God so far was at a quartet concert. During one song I felt like I was kneeling at God's throne and He was speaking to me. It was an awesome feeling.
It is not biblical and i would go as far as saying its demonic, there poor souls being sucked into a false gospel and teachings and where is this movement now? was it not exposed to be a pagan cult from the east and controlled by self confessed God men?

I've been in crowds where an entire American city was almost burnt to the ground after their team won the superbowl. As he walks through the congregatiion he points and queues his followers and incites them to react as the camera passes. There is a genuine rapport between the preacher and the crowd as he commands and orchestrates their performance. The subordination of individual will to group behaviors is a documented phenomenon.

Deeply studying the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit of God that you will understand it and live it, and then you'll know "which by its fruits know them" Matthew 7: 16 and you will know who has fruits of God and who do not.

And I know that it is God that made those "circumstances" favorable for me. I'm joyfull and thankfull. Do I now fit a "self-centered pleasure-seeking greek phisosopher" label? And about the cross, I'm glad that he could carry that cross for me, so neither I or you had to carry it, so we could sit here and debate on what joy is or isn't.

I dont know him like you do, nor do you know him like I do. And thats why we talk, share, post videos, fellowship, to share our unique experiences about what he revealed to us individually that we all may know him even more. It is not our place to judge, make sure to be reverent and fearful of the Holy Spirit. He guides us into all truth, is our teacher, guide, counselor, comforter. The Holy Spirit does bring joy, but more important, it brings holiness before God. We do not continue sinning, we do not live like the people around us, this is the profound work of the Holy Spirit. Laughing doesn't make you holy, being drunk doesn't make you holy, if you still willfully sin you do not fear God.
Believers who worship God in Spirit and Truth, know the difference between God's presence and demonic manifestations! There is a distinct difference between the "Joy of the Lord" and just "incoherent silliness"! Just because you are able to work some miracles in His name, is no guarantee that you are apart of God's kingdom.

I totally rely on the Holy Spirit's guidance and have experienced miracles. Being a believer for over 30 years, I am pretty familiar with the Holy Spirit's presence. The Holy Spirit has a gentle presence and is not loud and abrasive. This video simply does not reflect the nature of the Holy Spirit... I believe a deceptive spirit has entered here..

God warns us that Satan himself shall come as a minister of righteousness. And we stand in unity as believers because of the word of God being our final authority NOT some charasmatic movement that practice so many things that are not scripture.

I have had 'holy laughter' when I was a charismatic evangelical God squadder and as a non believer now I can verify for you that you can have a bloody good giggle without any Godly influence! this looks ridiculous and crazy, but one night after making amends with a family member, I broke into hysterical joy and laughter all by myself in my car on the way home. The whole time I was like what is this, and tried to stop, but it was one of the greatest feels ever, so don't hate on these crazy people, the world does stranger things for less!

James 1:2 'Count it all joy my brothers when you face trials of various kinds.' Again, not 'exceptionally good circumstances, yet we are told to have joy. Again in Romans 5:3. We are told to have joy whilst suffering.

If you've never witnessed the manifestations of the holy spirit, you'll probably not understand. If you do it will shift your ideas of consciousness some, guaranteed. What I see here is something very akin to mass hypnotism. I don't deny the devine in it, just that it taps right into the same place in our psyche. What I witnessed first hand felt genuine... was genuine. Genuine what, is the question.
My friend, what makes you think that all that church does is laugh? It is a small video clip from one of their services, where they happen to be laughing. If I briefly saw you on the street for 10 seconds, while you were laughing, would I to assume that you laugh every minute and every day of your life like a loony? Think about that for a moment.

@stupifiedbunny The difference between the two is the outcome of the situation. Mass hysteria from a disease would NOT induce laughter, spiritual laughter or otherwise. Also, people don't seek out diseases, precautions are taken to not get sick!! BUT seeking God, spending time in the word and filling up you spirit could induce laughter, or a number of other things. When you truly are led by the Holy-Spirit, there is no telling what he may be doing, you have to trush him.
its not demonic, whenever i worship the Lord.. at first i'll be weeping but then the Lord somehow lightens my burden i start laughing and thanking the Lord. He gives me joy and strength. Jesus abhors false teaching and the Bible says that we should try the Spirits to see whether they are of God because many false prophets are gone out into the world. The Bible speaks of lying signs and wonders and miracles. The devil can make people speak in tongues too and experience a baptism in an unholy Spirit. Now, I'm not sure about this. I know the Holy Spirit came down like fire and wind on the Day of Pentecost and I attend a Pentecostal church but I've never seen this before. I have also heard about Kenneth Copeland and he is a con man. However, my greatest experience with God so far was at a quartet concert. During one song I felt like I was kneeling at God's throne and He was speaking to me. It was an awesome feeling.

This is crowd mind control. Anyone who has seen the films of German masses crying after a speech from Hitler, or laughing hysterically at the thought that Jews were "people" know it. I've been in crowds where an entire American city was almost burnt to the ground after their team won the superbowl. As he walks through the congregatiion he points and queues his followers and incites them to react as the camera passes. There is a genuine rapport between the preacher and the crowd as he commands and orchestrates their performance. The subordination of individual will to group behaviors is a documented phenomenon.

Biblical Joy/Spiritual Joy is different from your Dictionary definition. It is a Joy that only followers of Christ can know. It does not arise from 'eceptionally good circumstances' or even 'happy times'. It should be within us all

It is not our place to judge, make sure to be reverent and fearful of the Holy Spirit. He guides us into all truth, is our teacher, guide, counselor, comforter. The Holy Spirit does bring joy, but more important, it brings holiness before God. We do not continue sinning, we do not live like the people around us, this is the profound work of the Holy Spirit. Laughing doesn't make you holy, being drunk doesn't make you holy, if you still willfully sin you do not fear God.

A number of Christians have experienced the equivalent of "holy" laughter when they use to be in New Age movement (sobering thought). Believers should be asking if this uncontrollable laughter really is a move of God, or is this the kind of deception the Bible warns about in Matthew 24, 1 Timothy 4:1, and in the second chapter of Thessalonians? Isn't mass hysteria people believing they have a disease? How do you tell the difference between a manifestation of the Spirit and mass hysteria?

@stupifiedbunny The difference between the two is the outcome of the situation. Mass hysteria from a disease would NOT induce laughter, spiritual laughter or otherwise. Also, people don't seek out diseases, precautions are taken to not get sick!! BUT seeking God, spending time in the word and filling up you spirit could induce laughter, or a number of other things. When you truly are led by the Holy-Spirit, there is no telling what he may be doing, you have to trush him.

its not demonic, whenever i worship the Lord.. at first i'll be weeping but then the Lord somehow lightens my burden i start laughing and thanking the Lord. He gives me joy and strength. Then the next day i see things differently.. like the Lord has opened my eyes and now i always get excited to praise the Lord and go to church. (:

@genelawdog When you go to a rock concert, or a sporting event, there's absolutute pandemonium everywhere! WAY more than wats shown here! People spend $'s on a ticket, then $20 for parking, just to see 5 extremely sweaty dudes tossing a ball in a hoop. But believers go to church and laugh and jump and praise God, but we're the crazy ones? Kobe bryant doesnt love me, or know me. But God loves me unconditionally his word says so, so thats whos ''bee-hive'' I'd rather be at.

U can tell a bit at the end that Copeland snapped out of it, but they just make things up and try to back it w/ scripture. IDC what u say this is not biblical. They r plain & simple makin a mockery of the Holy Spirit. Some aren't even aware tho.

Jesus abhors false teaching and the Bible says that we should try the Spirits to see whether they are of God because many false prophets are gone out into the world. The Bible speaks of lying signs and wonders and miracles. The devil can make people speak in tongues too and experience a baptism in an unholy Spirit. It happens in hinduism, New Age , Rosucrucian cults, Satanism etc.

excuse me? this is not nonsense, it's the holy ghost in it's purest form. the reason that you see people jumping and laughing and yelling with your natural eyes, is actually the holy spirit working on the inside of your heart. the power and energy of the holy spirit is soo strong that our carnal bodies cannot handle it, what we see on the outside is the human's bodies reaction to such a strong source of power..

Ok, all you haters have to realize that just because something isn't in the Bible, doesn't mean it can't happen. The Bible talks about the fullness of joy being found in the presence of God. So how is this not Biblical? Jesus said that unless you become like a child, you cannot enter the Kingdom. I don't know what Bible you guys are reading....

i know that's right steveironpum!! why would anybody even question the joy and freedom that is sooo evident in this video. if i didn't believe in laughter in the holy spirit before i saw this, i surely would have believed after i saw this vid,, but not only would i believe in it, but i would be trying to get me some laughter 2!! the holy ghost was so strong up in there, i felt the fire jumpin of the dawgone computer screen.

Enough division of the churches. Abolish it, as long as we live as the bride of our savior and it prepares His coming let it be. We should be banding together and supporting each other.
