  • Steve, Thanks for the tips. I am meant to be taking the TOEFL ibt yesterday but I wasn't able to show up as I was asked to work instead. I am trying to find other date that I could possibly do it.

  • mmmm, if you want to use that phrasal verb, you should say "brush up on' , you left out 'on'

  • てかしってることやれっていうより知ってること増やせって言ったほうがいいのでは? I suppose you should say "Try to brush up your skill of English and improve what you know further" rather than you say try to do what you know.

  • Thanks and 'muchas gracias'

Glad to know that you're one of the evaluator. No, which one of this would you score highest in speaking section.

    i. Speaking softly yet faster than ever.

ii. Speaking loudly but slowly, or

    iii. speaking softly and slowly?

By the way, assuming that those three was fluent in their speaking.

  • Hi Guys!!!!

Thanks for all your feedback!!! It's been especially great since you are not only interested in the contest but also the video content which for me is a labour of love.

Doing the TOEFL videos is particularly difficult since the test is always changing and has moved its focus away from grammar to the way native speakers actually use English.

    Regards,

    Steve

  • Excellent!

  • Thanks for your feedback. The TOEFL series is aimed to help those online English learners preparing for the spoken part of the test.

    Regards,

    Steve Ford
