  • Maybe the irrigation is making things too moist. Many herbs would rather be dry than too wet. Especially perennial herbs that get woody can go much longer without water. Perhaps containers or a dedicated herb bed with less or no irrigation. Are all your herbs from seed? Some are harder to do from seed and some will grow but not have much flavor. Most grow for several years so its an investment to start with transplants.
