  • Baka ahahaahhah jodan jodan

Honestly, i want to be an english teacher in japan too! But for high school and such

  • he's sixteen?

  • lol ebonics

  • Rumia on the black board. ^_^

  • japan is a nice place

  • You're an English teacher but your teaching kids how to speak ghetto! Whats wrong with you?! That's really going to be helpful for their future in the international business community. You're were just 16 at the time so i guess you didn't know any better.

Also you were speaking too much Japanese, it's an English lesson bro!

  • @philk490 - "you were speaking too much Japanese, it's an English lesson bro" - So? In my French lessons at school the French teacher spoke a lot of English. :-/

  • @philk490 - 'you were speaking too much Japanese, it's an English lesson ' - It's a CHILDREN's lesson!! At elementary stage, children don't really know enough English to be taught using ONLY English. Dude get your TEFL certificate.

  • @kobrasahin to many stupid amerikkkan how bout another 9/11 in your ASS!!

  • Damnit, that kid sucks at tying a tie...now those Japan are going to think all westerners are stupid. "Whiteahh pig ahh go hoooome!"

  • I'm really interested about teaching english abroad. between latin america and russia, which is better for the beginner teacher?

  • Look at the Pikachu drawings on the board

  • Whenever I see videos about foreigners (Americans mainly) in Japan, the person in the video is always extremely goofy and ridiculous.

I can only imagine what kind of impression that must make on the general population.

  • I will laugh if a Japanese kid ever comes up to me and says, "YO. WHAT'S UP, G?"

  • I get the impression it's easy to find ESL work in Japan - it's getting the initial 2-3k necessary to move there that's the issue. I'm going to go back to Korea for 6 months purely to get the money to together to hop over.

  • Oh please, ebonics aint fo dees lil g's.

    Tru dat.

  • American slang omg XD

  • look at the drawings on the calkboard! XD pikachu...kagome? i wonder if naruto is on there...

  • is this guys really telling them the expression "yo, wat up G" XD

  • I'm pretty sure it's not a serious english lesson. I think he was just there to see what teaching in Japan is like. Jeeze you people freak out too much. It's obvious it wasn't serious. It was so cute though. =]

  • I thought I sucked at teaching english here in Mexico, thanks for proving me wrong! nah JK, keep trying bro, lets do better every time!

  • Fail teacher.

  • 1:58 ... Revennnge!

  • why are you teaching them slang?

  • what the hell kind of class is this? You're teaching them ghetto slang? wtf??

  • if i live in japan right now, english would be my best subject lol

  • I am an English teacher i wish i could work in Japan..watashi mo Eigo no sensei desu .Totemo Nippon de hatarakitai desu .(nihongode mada heta desu gomennasai).btw I cant hear.. video

  • @kelRapunzel watashi mo Eigo no Kyoshi. In Japanese you would never refer to yourself as Sensei as it is an honorific term for others only.

  • @gimmeheadpeace oh gomennasai..thank you for help ..seriously ..

    so its a honorific term

i thought sensei was teacher ..ok..i ll keep in mind

  • @kelRapunzel No problem. Master is a closer translation than teacher. In Japan you can use it to address your teacher, doctor, dentist, priest etc

  • @gimmeheadpeace master sounds like something harder to achive -seems more honorific to me but..ok..i guess its diffrent in Japan

  • their learning environment looks so much more enjoyable!! i dont remember school ever looking like that much fun

  • I love how you made the laugh

  • That teacher looks like a buddy of mine. Wait, Andrew?!?!

  • @rlmotionpictures His name is Alex...

  • Jyuu-roku sai desu? did you say you were 15 or did misunderstand?

  • @lankeysob I think he said 16.

  • LOL were you messing around teaching them slang or did they actually ask you to teach that ?

and u said it means sugoi?? lol

and apparently, u don't need to know japanese well to teach. yeeeeaaaay!

  • lol, who drew alll that stuff on the board?

  • OH THEY'RE ALL SO KAWAIII!!! i just wanna huggle all of those kids!

  • nice sound quality

  • LMFAO true dat

  • GOOD JOB!! Omedetou n_n

  • Thats what im aiming to do when i grow up i want to teach english in japan :)

  • omg the tie.

  • 240p quality for sound.

  • @danthecat21 Thanks. It worked and makes much more sense then screwing with the link address.

  • Man that's a huge class

  • Your an awesome teacher! Those kids love you! Fun video!

  • Can't you do your tie?!

  • @aclaparat777 ikr! hahaha

  • no sound

  • dam son i never heard these phrases in a while my nigga yo they need a blk man over there schoolin these little niggas

  • i added that "&fmt=18" at the end but still no sound?

  • @theorigin12 me too

  • @theorigin12 you add it & then press 240 :) x x x

  • Wow....I've studied on my own without a japanese class for 4 years and I think I could teach that class so much better. And why slang? They'd get no where with that. And did he just call the slang ghetto? And why does he say "ichi wordo?" You're telling me he studied for 4 years and doesn't know the japanese word for...word?

  • If you can't hear sound try watching the video in 240p. you'll see where you can switch to it on the bottom right corner of the video screen right next to the cc (closed captioned) button. Thumb this up so others can know.

  • @TheLittelDreamerr thx dude!

  • wheres the soundf?

  • lol, why is he teaching them english slang?

  • I know a little Japanese, but I'd be so nervous. You're very brave.

  • omg those dosent look like anime characters at all :O !!!!

  • @MrSCPhoenix: Lmao! xD

  • ROFL, u studied for 4 years? u suck balls son. seems like a fun class though

  • if you change the setting to 240p instead of 360p it should work.

  • No sound :S:S:S

  • no sound here either and by comp is top notch

  • お元気ですか = Yo, what's up G? hahaha

  • じゅうろくさい?! dang you're brave for teaching at a young age. I'm 18 and I can't even imagine myself teaching others Dx

  • no sound

  • @JesusisLord7771 I think it might just be your computer. It worked perfectly for me :)

  • He seems a bit insecure

  • awwwww he is sooo cute!

  • add &fmt=18 at the end of the url for sound

  • @cantthinkofone47 wow thanks o-o

  • @cantthinkofone47 what the hell how did you know to add &fmt=18 lol?

  • @cantthinkofone47 Why does this work?

  • @cantthinkofone47 still doesn't work

  • no sound

  • I HEAR NO AUDIO!! (*0*) noooo! sensei! can you teach me japanese? o.0

  • how can I do this?? I love the culture...i even practice kendo and aikido

  • @00MORDRED

You have to enter a program, such as the JET Programme. It's an exchange program that allows you to teach English and stay up to 5 years in Japan.

  • >_>

  • *reading through the comments*....o.0

apperently how u type on the computer is how u really talk...lol Hey guys! I talk in dialoge and everythin' i say is broken up nd stuffz and i has createds a new accent!...Though...i wouldn't mind that. :3 <---omg now i speak faces!

Like yeah toalleh cuz datz teh way we roll, yi! cuz i like tuh text and stuff XD!! i do it with my friends all the time >.< i don't see anything wrong with it jezus weebus

  • @FarAwayMagic Qaw! Yesserz! Join meh mah fellow broken-up-word typer! :3

  • @KittenNyanNyan OH YESYEAH!!!! :)!!!!!

  • why is there no sound ?

  • @fourthwallbreak

I'm afraid it's true in my country though...... Time to bring in real Eikaiwa instructors from the Philippines and India!! What about accent?? No worries.... they are much much better teaching Eikaiwa than typical "Clowns" coming from Canada, States, Britain, Australia or New Zealand or other European countries.

Of course not all of them are "clowns"

  • hahahaha this is great!

  • great

  • あなたの日本語が上手です

  • Don't worry about the haters, I would be nervous too. You seemed to get more comfortable after a while and the kids had fun so that's all that matters. I just started teaching myself Japanese about two months ago (currently just perfecting my Hiragana and Katakana reading/writing) so I have a ton to learn but one day when I'm comfortable I will get my ass to Japan.

  • @exoxe mhm tru dat, they got a bunchah hata's on here

  • were u trying to show something to the kids? how on earth cud they c it?

u cud have written those on a bigger ppr...make sure that ur yVISUAL AIDS r visibble enough not only by d students in front but also by those sitting at the back.

    there's always a room for improvement.just cont.teaching.

  • this is funny....true dat...yo..

  • the kids are so cute when they laugh

  • CAN SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE!!!! WHERE I CUD LEARN JAPANESE?

???? IVE ALWAYS WISHED OF LEARNING THE LANGUAGE!!!! please

  • @IscaredROCK type in learn japanese free in google. TONS of stuff come up.

  • ye guys r killing the japanese language and culture with this govt subsided english teaching u globalist mfers.

  • How did you get this job? Did your school in America organize an exchange program, or did you apply on your own for pay? I just listened to an audio story by ThirdCoastFestival about ESL teachers in Japan, it was really weird how American 'teachers' could get away with doing nothing and getting paid lots of money for doing nothing. I am not saying this is what your are doing, this looks really fun for the kids, but just curious. Thank you!

  • You're the teacher, so teach anyway you want to! A lot of people cannot even afford to go to Japan.

  • This is a total mess. Teaching kids a New york slang has no meaning.

  • HAHAHA!!! I thought "Sugoi" meant "Cool". I didn't know it was slang. HAHAHA!!! This is funny.

  • wow you did pretty good, better than i would do,

  • @SatoTM3 I would have slapped the shit outta you too.. Sarcastic punk

  • @sc300tproject yeah

learn another language fat dumb broke american

  • @SatoTM2 I've already accomplished that thanks! I'm speaking English right now! hahah

  • @sc300tproject wow congratz

im your age and english is my 11th language

and i bet ii'm more profound in english than you are; stupid american fag

  • @SatoTM2 Typical internet user. You speak 11 languages? Then why are you using the internet? IF you are able to speak 11 languages, you should be offline making money! Just goes to show how stupid you are; typical internet user hahaha.

  • @SatoTM2 sounds like a /b/tard to me

  • @SatoTM2 whats wrong wif bein' merican???? red white an' blue homeee

  • @FarAwayMagic oh yeah u mean the colours of france

or did you mean the netherlands?

great britain's flag is also red blue and white

perhaps you meant cambodia, or chile, the country where your country put concentration camps like the nazi's did?

    luxembour, or the czech republic?

    oh here's a good one, RUSSIA ;D

    norway and thailand

yeah red white n blue really are very ORIGINAL colours =]

especially knowing that you copied it from countries that existed before you, like the once i just named. ha

  • @FarAwayMagic im sorry to say this but i would be ashamed to be your enlish teacher seriously im from alabama and my redneck uncle is more understandable than youim serious i am apualed by your slang you bring a bad reputation to america

  • This guy can't teach... I also feel sorry for the millions of people world wide learning English in an American language.

  • @delarhuc It's more of an accent isn't it?

  • you looked like you were very nervous.

also, you have to let the children quiet.

i know it's very hard to teach japanese english but it's a great challenge

  • Oi. It's the same with French teachers in Canada and Spanish teachers in the US. They learn their own language first, and wait too long to be able to learn a language really fast. Also it's hard to speak a language that doesn't have the same roots as your own.

  • this lesson is a bit strange, but im sure the viewers will let it slide considering how young you are. i suppose youll be a lot better 10 years from now.

  • hmmm...

  • not funny at all

  • oh my, he's teaching these innocent kids new york slang XD i feel so bad they dont even know what theyre saying..

  • hahahahhahaha what are you teaching these kids! hahahahahaha very funny!!!

  • They are so cute and innocent!

I would love to teach them!!! : )

  • I think things change from elem to high

  • hes so cute!

  • if your a guy you often would say "suge". "sugoi" is commonly said by women.

  • "suge" is an improper way of speaking, well rude way actually. 'Sugoi" is more well mannered.

  • street nihongo rules! ofcourse you wouldn't use it with people you aren't acquainted to. unless you wanna be a dick..

  • Can you manage with such a big group.? I think you are doing a good job.

  • The funny thing is, no African American I know ever says these things. In fact, I used to make fun of my black friends with this kind of stuff. Made them laugh pretty hard.

  • wow they sure do like to laugh.

  • kakkoii sensei desu ne....demo ur tie was weird XD

  • I have to agree, but remember hes 16 he did a good job for a 16 year old!

  • he's only 16... but yea, he has a lot to learn about teaching.

there's an intro, but no other effort to create a rapore or elicit vocab relating to the curriculum being taught. also with no progression and only 2 of the 4 macro's being taught.

looks very unstructured (no, I am not a teacher)

  • it's cute when the kids laugh xD

  • yo whats up g xDDD lmao! u actually taught them that???

  • I found some good teaching material.

Google "Ferd'nand". These are comics without words. First I have he students describe what's happening and practice structures such as the subjunctive. Then I have them role play the situation. The result has been very good.

  • Wow...very hard if you don't know their language...crazy though!

  • omg this guy :/.....plz don go into teaching if you will act like this..... hope u get better...plz lol!!

  • lol wtf they employed you to do this?

  • yo crip trippers in way dare speak'n south.

konichiwa = yo what up G lol

  • lol at 2:44

  • yo dwag dose pip squeeks down wid it

not lng b4 dey chillin in da hood wid da gantsta yo

  • im gonna do this toooo :D

  • Wow, this is amazing!

  • He gon get them kids shot, low key

  • I really really hope to be able to do this one day!

  • this looks amazing, this totally the sort of thing i want to do when i leave uni!! good on you! <3

  • This is great! I am a teacher of English, I am from Argentina and I enjoy watching this videos because I can learn from your strategies!

    teaching kids is really cool!

    kisses!

  • hewhehehehehehh

this is funny i'm you look like a high school student dude...

    still it looks awesome

  • he is a high school student...he said he is 16 and a junior

  • sup G

  • No entiendo ni J de lo q dices, pero si entiendo q eres muy cute :P jaja

    Keep going!!!

    (=^_^=)

  • you're such a handsome teacher. I'll be teaching english soon, I hope I could teach in japan.

  • He must have been a guest teacher or something who got asked to come to school to "teach" English to kids at one time because he was 16. I don't know if ghetto slangs are good things to teach them, but talking about something fun rather than regular English is the way to go in such an occasion.

  • Prof, non stare sulla difensiva con le braccia incrociate.

  • i actually teach my kids "you know what i'm saying?" instead of saying "wakatta no?"

  • true dat omg hahahahahah lol

  • Uh, a lot of haters commenting on this vid, what gives?

He's obviously a kid in Japan who's been asked to come in and "teach English," but it doesn't look much different than when foreign exchange students used to come give presentations sometimes in class when I was younger. I really doubt he was getting paid to do this as a career, and of course he wouldn't have really any experience teaching. I mean, if he's a 16 year old kid, cut him some slack!

  • Cute kids, but seriously... when do we use the phrase, "True dat?" =/

  • You're too much of a nervous man to be a successful teacher : \

What you tried teaching them was of little relevance to what ANY english learner should learn...

Why did you become a teacher in the first place in Japan without a skill in Speaking Japanese first? It just made the cringe thoughout the whole thing.

watching this now... "What's up G?"

    What the hell?

If they understood ANYTHING of what you were teaching, you'd be kicked out for stupid slang crap.

    I'm sorry but... it's true ?

  • Obviously you don't know the term racist. There are millions of 'white' people that understand and can fluently speak more than 3 languages. Same for all races. Laziness depends on the character, not on race. I can surely call you an ass, because that's you character.

  • OH wait, you can actually acuse me of something you don't know? How ignorant. Just to tell you, I'll be going to university in Korea next year. Good luck with your life.

  • ehm i could give a flying fuck where you'll be attending school to continue your failed and hopeless life.Anyone that has taken a foreign language class at an elementary level, and has a BA can teach almost anywhere, study,or be an assistant.Shove a ringo in your mouth and shut the fuck up,you filthy fucking twat.

  • Lazy? Last time I checked the stats, we weren't the race that survived off of government support and welfare.

  • and when did you check that?1978?or did you get the stats from your asshole? What a retard..I'd send you the link to the page, but you're just wasting your time, and mines. Now,go fuck yourself.Thanks.
