SO glad to hear you mention correct thumb placement on the back of the neck!
It is one of the things I constantly preach to my guitar playing friends...yet, I still have friends who think looking cool is more important than improving their playing....those who have taken the advice, they are amazed at how much easier it is to fret the strings with the palm opened up, which happens naturally when you place the thumb on the back of the neck.
I play this Dm, Dm/C, G/B, Bb, F, A-A7 no thumb needed
Thanks for showing me the pinky technique on this ... I was playing in standard Am, D, F, C, E.... using the thumb really makes this sound much better ...
