  • Jake is still out there today, he just don't like the press and media, avoids them because they ask the same questions over and over again "what happened to u & Ozzy", Badlands ect.I guess he plays for himself and if u like-it, well, that's a + ! He did some great solo albums over the past years....

  • Umm Jake E.Lee a guitar god ? I don't think so..What has he done? where is he today? The guitar gods don't go away like that...Randy Rhoads Made Ozzy a great act after Sabbath but he was never going to fire him and Randy was the main draw..Jake pales in comparison to Randy and his sound was certainly whimpy as fuck compared to Randy

  • Stupid BEaners

  • Rio u always look like the best rock crowds! You guys are awesome!Hope you understand i can't speak spanish sorry

  • damn

jake e lee is the man :)

  • Ozzy is ALWAYS terrible live. Thanks Sharon.

  • @1bloodcum FUCK YOU!!! Sharon is the only reason that Ozzy is still alive, so shut the fuck up!!! Everybody thinks that Sharon is a witch, but she saved Ozzy, AND the reason he did a solo career after Sabbath...!!!!

  • el es el #1 por eso es el abuelo del rock

  • Randy looks like Eddie in this video. Why compare? They were all great. ozzy is so lucky to have had those guys.

  • Randy Rhoads Song

  • JAKE E LEE GUITAR HERO!!!

  • @Wirsto yet, here you are, on a JAKE E LEE youtube link, professing your love for a doushebag who only DIED to solidify his career...... well guess what? Jake played randy songs BETTER, with MORE FEEL, and even started a much cooler BAND without ozzy. randy, meh, good i guess, if you discount his weak-assed bends and crappy vibrato...... still a good songwriter. let's give him that.

  • @Wirsto agrred, randy couldn't start a badlands even with a trickle charger..... randy schmandy. Jake Kicked his ass. No shame in that. He kicked Zakk's too.

  • Jake E Lee! My favorite, but He did better things with badlands!

  • Randy had been rocking out playing in quiet riot in the late 70's, you can see him jamming at the S.M. Civic in 1978 on youtube, he was the best metal guitarist around then he helped Ozzy with 2 masterpieces Blizzard of Oz and Diary..." Rhodes had bigger fish to fry wanting to play Classical, and going other projects, but unfortunately died before he got that chance. RIP Randy you will never be forgotten.

  • recipe for getting absolutely nuts : listen 20 hours without interruption ozzy osbourne !! .. well i did it for 2 days 2 nights !!! fcn overload !!! =D

  • I was seventeen and I was there. And after Ozzy was Scorpions, then AC/DC. Good memories....

  • Ozzy was wasted!!!

  • I love these "Randy versus Jake" debates. Wanna know what I think..? Probably not... but I'm gonna share it anyway. I wish Jake had stayed in Ratt... that's what I think. Don't get me wrong... Ratt were great with Warren DiMartini... but they lost that GROWWWWL that they had in their earlier days with Jake. Ahh well... hindsight is worthless, I guess.

  • @Tessmage...and those guys were roommates in LA..amazing. Very similar guitar players, but I guess I could never explain why I preferred to hear Jake over Warren, and as a player myself, i respect both of those guys...but you are right...Jakes "attitude"..or growl, as you say. ...that set him apart. Now...Randy's mark on neo-classical. I think Randy would have admitted himself that he wasn't "pioneering"..he was still learning and growing and learning to apply classical motifs to his style

  • @Tessmage knowing what I know, and having been privileged enough to spend about 45 minutes talking to his brother Kelley...Randy was a Deep Purple fan, Ritchie Blackmore,..who was a pioneer of the neo classical movement. ..(see Rainbow - Gates of Babylon) certainly had an influence on his playing, as it did with Yngwie. Had the Scorpions been huge in America in the 70's Uli Roth would have tempered the conversation a bit i think . Not taking anything away from Randy

  • @Tessmage I think we unfairly weigh the accomplishments of those who have passed more heavily than the accomplishments of those who are still with us. Take guys like Pete Townsend and Jeff Beck for example, they are the best versions of themselves today, and far different players than they were in the 60's and 70's. The tragedy is we never did get to see the finished Randy....His Brother Kelle is an amazing pianist and composer, search him to get a glimpse of an advanced Rhoads. RIP Randy

  • The truth about Jake E. Lee and Ozzy is that Jake always stole the fucking show. There can't be two stars in the same rock band, kids.. Ozzy was a moron to fire him. Note that after Jake was fired, Ozzy stopped creating and rested on his laurels. Zakk was great with Ozzy, but Zakk only rested on Ozzy's laurels as well, squeaking his guitar rebelliously.

Jake E. Lee IS a guitar god and always will be. Jake E. Lee WAS one of the most dazzling guitar-entertainers this side of early Hendrix.

  • @parafleet SPOT-ON...SPOT-ON

  • @DRAGONSHEADNORTH1177 from my perspective everything went down hill after jake left.. but we all have our points of interest and more power to us who are not interested in todays idea of "music" and live for this true masters craft ..the writing /playing of heavy metal music and those who love it \m/ \m/

  • @parafleet Your comment is right on the money...

  • @parafleet I don't agree! Randy Rhoads will always be the best, guitarist, and if somebody stole the show, it was Randy, but Ozzy didn't say anything cause he thought that Randy was so awesome! When the fans saw and listen to Randy, ALL blow away! And I don't think that Jake really "stole" the show, and I don't see he can either...! AND Ozzy fired, Jake because he saw Zakk Wylde perform at a party, and he thought that he would be better in his band! But sad that Jake is underated! :(

  • @adamtheboyfromdenmar thats not the truth,,ozzy didnt fire jake cause he saw zakk playing,,,,JAKE E LEE IS THE BEST

  • @parafleet Jake E. Lee was fantastic. I started playing guitar when I saw him at the BATM tour on TV! But, I´m happy he left Ozzy because I was a big fan of Badlands as well as Ozzy. Still I think that Jake was Ozzy´s best live guitarist! And Bark at the moon is a fantastic song, best solo ever!

    Arngrím

  • @parafleet I totally agree,,JAKE E LEE IS THE BEST EVER

  • Jake E. Lee is very good! Great performance

  • Jake E Lee does a bang up job on Randy's solo's. And was such a sexy guy, wow, he was a ROCK star!

  • next to randy, my ass. JAKE IS THE F'ING MAN!!!!!!! randy's live stuff is LAME!

  • Sounds like Ozzy was into the sauce again....sounds terrible.

  • too bad the audio is so muffled, Jake E Lee's tone sounds like it was raging!

  • my dad the dummer and hes wearing a wig because hes bald

  • Jake has been and always will me my fav ozz guitarist .sure randy was clever and creative zakk .gets it wrong more than he gets it right ,but god dame when the boy gets it right he is extraordinary .eg no more tears solo.probably the best rock solo ever. but generally Jake has a dynamic neither has .quick clever imaginative and utterly compelling, jake all day every day for me.btw just because love jake more doesn't mean i dont love jakk or randy.

  • Jake E Lee? Are you kidding? him and his weak ass strat sound? Worst thing OZZY has ever done to his career. Dude had it right though-there are only 12 fukin notes.

  • you are sofa king we todd did.

  • @ all the people going on about EVH and randy in the end there are only 12 different notes u can play so who gives a flying fuck if one sounds like the other they both rock so jus shut the FUCK up and bask in the glory days of rock n roll

  • Guitar work such as Randy's and EVH were bound to come into existence sooner or later. Much like splitting the atom back in the 40's, it just happened to be Einstein who did it first when there many other brilliant minds working on the same thing.

  • @mtlsixshooter except einstein didnt split the atom

  • festa!

  • Jake E. Lee,unique style for playing,and doing faces,what a shame he´s so underhated

  • eddie van halen 1977 live at the whiskey make anything randy rhoads ever did look like crap.End of story

  • @valkour22 Not really. Most of what EVH is doing there sounds like a lot of one string stuff with tremelo picking. The occasionally tapping makes it faster, but he is slower at the more complex multi string stuff. Malmsteen and MAB blow that out of the water. But none of EVH riffs or solo's in his songs are as well put together as randy's. He just repeats thet same safe shred over and over. Eruption in every song. Plus I like Randy's classic influence and better sense of melody over EVH,

  • @federalist29 ur completly stupid.eddie totally blew Randy away when they shared the stage growing up in LA.It wasen't even a contest. And if u thinkRand's guitar parts are hard ur crazy. He used more effects then anyoneHe was always over rated as a guitarist. The Randy Rhoads Tribute story the lady in that even said when Eddie came to town Randy was over.He was in fing Quit Riot gimmie a break they suxx ass and his playing did too.I can tell u know nada about guitar,Eddie set the pace and rules.

  • Eddie and Randy were both playing LA at the same time when they were growing up.Eddie would laugh about Randy's playing. Its plain to see who Randy got his style from and sound.Listen to Eddies recordings in like 1976-77 and Randy's at same period. You will see Eddie was this kids DADDY.Listen to the recordings and let their playing speak for itself

  • @valkour22 Again, not really. Randy was classically trained to a certain degree and would train with classicaly players in the universities of the major towns he visited on his tours with Ozzy.

  • @federalist29 seen fing Ozzy with Randy and fing 80% the crap he play was directly what Eddie started.Dude u dont have a clue

  • It is true that Randy inherited shit from EVH. He did start playing rock before Randy did. Everybody to some degree has. But Randy'a work shows a far more advanced degree of knowledge in musical theory. And I cant think of a single song of Randy's which could be directly compared to EVH's songs to show a direct ripp-off. One of my Favorite's was Mr Crowley. Nothing like the one solo EVH keeps reapeating in almost every song. Eruption.

  • no one cares about that conversation under this so go away

  • It's not a word game. All you want is a confirmation of what you THINK you know. Dont make a fool out of yourself by denying that. And in order to defend RR - which is not necessary at all - you even call Sharon Osbourne a liar. Funny. Sharon has every reason to deny the rumor but doesnt so..she must be lying (??!), right? You know...shall we stop here? It was fun.

  • well of course what you have shared here is evidence, you dolt. and evidence is information. but why play word games? you would be hard pressed to find at least one quote by randy rhoads badmouthing a fellow musician -- or anyone for that matter. a big part of randy other than talent was class. as far as I can tell, eddie never had it. the "affair" with sharon is sharon's figment of imagination. no one has ever come forward to corroborate. if true ozzy in all likelihood sat and watched

  • So much better than Randy. To bad only real players realize this!

  • @dorsey2005 Sorry dude, but any real guitar player will realize that Jake is just sparking up what Randy wrote. What Randy originally wrote was pure genious and emotion, it was a turing point for metal. Jake was amazing as well, but he was the mid/late 80's type. Randy reigned in his time.

  • @dorsey2005 amen, brother! randy ain't shit.

  • I love Jake, he's such a great player. He is probably the least recognized great guitarist from the 1980s. He deserves a lot more accolades.

  • Ozzy looks totally wrecked, slurring words

  • CLAP YOUR FUCKIN' HANDS!!!! Awesome.

  • go Randy

  • jake e. But read sounds like randy but randy is the creator of this song

  • You gotta love the Ozzman!

  • OW!

  • Jake E. Lee is the greatest player I have ever seen. Not here to start an arguement or debate. Just simply stating a fact!

  • @dorsey2005 Too bad he and Ozzy parted ways! Although the Ultimate Sin DOES "have it's moments," I can't (really) listen to Ozzy's efforts after Bark At The Moon.

  • @dorsey2005 hes awesome, but randy is seriously a better musican/guitarist

  • the top three guitarist ever are jimi hendrix, slash of guns and roses the angus from acdc thats that

  • @meeksfarm ..i agree with the angus vote....but what about EVH?.....slash..is good ish...Hendrix started it all off...

  • @meeksfarm Meh Angus is the same same same. I respect him and love him but I can't stand sitting listening to AC/DC all the time because it's all the same.

  • of course its the same cuz its all badass and seeing them live is amazing

  • @meeksfarm Yeah they throw a great show. but it's all the same and it gets to the point where it''s boring.

  • @meeksfarm only if your goddamn cd-player is busted.

  • jake is so complete as a guitar player, it is hard for the public to do his career justice, check out Zakk in China, he rips all the styles of all the guitar players Ozzy ever had...yes he is the fucking man!!!

  • the best ozzy song ever made!

  • Next to Randy......Jake E Lee..Period.

  • @Schon2112 Jake was a remarkable player. It is cool hearing his interpretations to Randy and Tony's music.

  • Jake always puts is own stamp on the songs he didn't write -- Rhoads and Iommi. He saved Ozzy's solo career after the death of Rhoads. The pressure on that spot was unreal when he joined.

  • jacke e lee - g

    bob daisley - b

    tommy aldridge - d

    don airey - k

This part I liked even though it probably would prefer Randy Castillo on drums and Randy Rhoads on guitar ..... but look how ozzy young and zestful not

  • Eddie Van Halen AND Randy Rhodes are BOTH top-notch guitarists. WHY? Because both of them make it look so easy.

  • randy is still the best =D my opinion

  • Agreed!

  • wait a second - about EddieVH ,he admits this....''.......tapping technique normally attributed to Eddie Van Halen. Steve Hackett has often stated VanHalen told him he learned the technique after attending a S.Hackett -Genesis concert ,,''

  • whats up i mean shut down your temper okey i'm too nice to tell u to.,... Jake is playing differnt RR -it dosnt mean that i dont know Randy is making a name in the history of greats, Musicians like hendrix ,vanhalen has been noticed alot more than others -their styles and imageit izz z too

  • . for instance was Steve Hackett the first with fingertapping/rock+other guitartricks but was just totally ignored !! He +PG was Genesis and the only person that ever has mention Hackett as an influence is Yngwee Malmsteen !!! -...maybe hacket would be really famous w/ flashy/wierdo guitar, etc but Hackett is not on any lists at all even if he iz one of the greatest rockguitarists !! Both of u have a one-track opinion just following the pack ..

  • ..talking about RR - 82 he has played guitar since 5 yrs ok..so more to your facts : Jake E Lee played classical piano fr 6 until he was 16, then guitar..oh ,at 12he had a guitar teacher , only for 1 month bcuz JakeE had learnt everything the teacher knew ..btw Jake got the same education as Elton john

  • Jake e are friggn one of the most fastest MELODIC soloist ...with alot of substance ,period !!!!

  • YOU

  • hey fuck head he got new talent PERIOD! he never got best guitarist or valuble player NEVER! EDDIE VAN HALEN RULED THAT 20 STRAIGHT YEARS PLUS MOST VALUEBLE PLAYER AND BEST PLAYER OF ALLTIME NEXT TO JIMI HENDRIX. NEXT TIME DOUCHEBAG KNOW YOUR FACTS BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH,

  • Perhaps the most in-tune I've ever heard ozzy sing live.

  • /

    the

    B E S T

    guitar-version i have heard

  • .. of '' flying high again''' and without too much interruption of keyboards

    /

  • Someone get a shovel and scrape me up off the floor! Especially after 2:00 & 3:25...and every other moment that camera fixes on Jake. Madre de Dios he was hot! In every sense of the word. And looked like he was having the time of his life.

  • theres no drum fuck up ...you must be stoned not him..the fill was fine..

  • jake e. lee fuck ya!

  • jake e lee was by far ozzy's best guitarist

weather you like it or not. the proof is in the vidio's and songs.

  • i never said he wasent

  • Cept this song was wrote by Randy.....

  • u mean odviously besides randy...

  • I love Jake ( especially his Badlands stuff ), and always thought he was underappreciated in Ozzy, but come on dude ... .you can't say he was better than Randy.

  • You're crazy.

  • You're a fucking idiot pal. Jake E Lee couldn't wipe Randy's ass.

  • your the fucking idiot retard randy rhoads SUCKED! and the funny part asshole no one gave a FUCK ABOUT HIM UNTIL HE DIED! and by the way it looks today most still dont give a fuck about randy rhoads

Eddie van halen and jimi hendrix for ever randy rhoads dont even come fucking close to these two guitar legends thats a FUCKING FACT ASSWIPE NOT SOME EMPMTY BULLSHIT OPINION!

  • Empty bullshit opinion huh? How are old are you bitch? Probably 18 and still sucking on your mama's tit right? What the fuck do you know about the early 80's? You weren't even a cum shot in your daddys eye yet. Fucking pukes like you have ruined music with your Emo faggot garbage. You're probably the only person in the world you thinks that Randy Rhoads sucks, therefore, you ARE an idiot. Do you play anything? Or are you just some loud mouth punk who THINKS he can?

  • I can't discount EVH and of course not Jimi Hendrix. Randy had very few years to prove what he was eventually capable of. The fact you can't show the man any respect is pretty bad. Especially as a fellow guitarist. But hey, you live your life as you choose. EVH is now a drunk piece of shit who talks about his 15 year old son's sexual habits. Some hero. Sure, he inspired us all and was great in his day, but he's nothing now. I'm done with this stupid bantering by the way. Have a good life.

  • can you or someone else please tell me what is so great about Eddie Van halen? Everyone glorifies him and I just don't see it. He's a drunk little bitch who thinks he's the greatest guitarist ever because he can play the same tap/speed guitar solo for all of his songs

  • He's great because as common and as old as tapping such as that is, Eddie did it FIRST. He was playing licks beyond comprehension when the word "licks" wasn't even around. Please try to grasp that he may not be the greatest NOW, but he WAS the greatest. Listen to more than just his solo's, and try to have an open mind.

  • Sorry dude, my opinion is biased because I hate the guy's personality, with good reason. I love the band, I love the guitar work, I just hate EVH.

  • how can you hate his personality he barely even talks?

  • I'll tell you a story:

Eddie was at the Fender factory and someone in the Fender business came up to him and said there was a kid dying of some disease and one of his last wishes was a Strat signed by EVH. He held out a pen and guitar and Eddie refused to sign it. Now, I don't know the whole story, but that makes me wanna hate him, what a douchebag.

  • oh haha well ok then

  • I like to think I have a good reason

  • well i dont know if that stroy is true..but dimbag darrell came up to eddie and asked him if he can a model a guitar for him based on the frakenstrat on the back off van halen 11 well eddie never got enough time to get to him before his passing so he willing put the guitar off the album in his casket.. sounds like a nice guy to me

  • the story is true. My guitar teacher was involved in the process, through contact with the fender people or what not. I'm sure he has done good deeds, out of good nature, but eddie is no angel. He is arrogant about his playing and gets happiness from drinking. Now of course I don't know the guy, and maybe there is a good side to him, but he doesn't come off as that great of a person

  • @LinkIsSrsBusiness Eddie wasnt the first. Emmett Chapman was. Before lecturing others, get your facts right first. Hypocrite.

  • When I say EVH is overrated I mean the praise he receives is dramatized -- you know, the old "mountian out of a molehill" idiom. Minus the tapping, what has he really done to earn the whole Eddie is god moniker? You see Eddie once, you seen him a thousand times. Randy had far more depth than Eddie, and much further ahead in time.

  • cmspeoil,

It is wise to know your facts before you slate one of the top 3 guitarists of all time (and IMO THE greatest ever).

Your post serves only to highlight your ignorance.

  • Hmmm... nemesissy... your ignorance is staggering. Stick to lawncare. Rhoads' skill was undeniable, as anyone who has studied him knows. At the time of his death, he was way ahead of the curve. Ever see EVH try to play with a drummer other than his brother? The few times he did he didn't fare too well -- resorting to the typical bag of tap tricks grew tiresome after a few barres. Fish outta water....

  • You can use all the baby-ish names that you want. You can try all the lame attempts at wit that you like.

None of it changes the fact that what i said about your assertions of EVH are 100% true. Undeniable. And that you undermine every ounce of credibility with every word you spew.

    Good day.

  • LOL! Wow... what an insightful self- assessment! If I were EVH and knew I had a fan like you, I'd toss my guitar into the nearest wood chipper and retreat to peeling onions. Are you molesting young boys at your church? Or have you graduated to prepubescent girls? I'll accept either. Same basic concept. Run along now...

  • 2 replies and still not refuted, countered or done anything with grace or wit. Wanna try for 3rd time unlucky?

Not only do you make a fool of yourself with your misfiring attempts at wit but also by your clear lack of knowledge.

    Enjoy.

  • LOL! For Nemesissy, "clear lack of knowledge" constitutes a marked improvement. R U going to continue to pretend that you've demonstrated a coherent argument to disprove my assertion that Rhoads had more depth in his short career compared to EVH's only contribution of tap? Do you think asserting your opinion dishonestly and continuing to pretend that you're correct by offering nothing of substance to this conversation is going to help convince anyone that your assertions are honest? LOL!

  • evh didnt just bring tapping to the table if you think that your not really judging him from a guitarists stand point

  • well that's the standpoint I'm judging him by. so what else did eddie bring besides tap?

  • well have you ever heard mean streets, spanish fly. cathedral,or the whole minute in eruption before the tapping sequence theres to many to name plus every album seperatetly probely contains only a minute of tapping on the whole album

  • of course i've heard them. those are some of my favorite vh songs. he taps in every damn song, which doesn't really bother me. tapping is evh's epitaph. when you think of evh you think of tapping. Randy Rhoads had a lot more depth and skill.

  • i wouldnt say that i mean your entitled to your own opinion even eddie said him self someone told him if he thought randy rhoads was influnced by him n eddie said man if he was that would be a great honor cause he was one hell of a player

  • it's comforting to carry an opinion shared by scores of players worldwide. highly unlikely rhoads was influenced by evh considering Rhoads was already shining at the Starwood in '75 with Quiet Riot while eddie was still practicing in his bedroom and entertaining the occasional backyard party with his brother.

  • I never said he was influenced by him i was stating a interview they only asked him that question because rhoads occasionaly did the tapping thing..im not looking down on rhoads at all i think hes great at what he does im just more of a evh guy

  • i know what you meant. look for an audio interview on here (it's in several parts) of an interview from 1982 of some guy from a guitar mag recording a phone interview with evh. eddie just played a show in louisville and was calling from a hotel room. it took place shortly after rhoads' death and the interviewer asked him about rhoads. eddie acknowledged his talent but couldn't resist trying to get the guy to concentrate on evh and acknowledge that he's the top dog. i found that to be petty.

  • i dont know theres alot of drama with that band may it be fans or ex bandmates i aint about to get in to it i just like there music

  • And oh yeah, wasted enough time on you, so adios.

  • When incapable of disputing the facts, they always run home to mama...

  • Pinch Harmonics.

  • @LinkIsSrsBusiness eddie didn't invent tapping..... hell, BILLY GIBBONS was doing it way before..........

  • Like him or not, Eddie paved the way for 80s arena rock guitar players. I don't care for EVH and have always felt he was waaaay overrated. He's incredibly insecure for a guy often referred to as a guitar god. Likes to play the modest role when praised but becomes amusingly juvenile when Rhoads' brilliance is ever mentioned.

  • it's true that he did influence many hair metal/arena rock type bands in the 80's

  • @csmpeoil before I rant! Jake smokes!!!!

    EVH,..

Over rated?? compared to? His contribution to guitarists are obvious. Respect it when there is someone who has done what he has. @ all the stories, If you have not met the man you can not say who is is as a person!

  • @csmpeoil

I'm not disputing you, but where and when did you find or read where Edward became juvenile when Randy's brilliance is mentioned? Like I say, I'm not arguing, just wondering. Edward is my favorite player, and Randy my second. I know; Edward can be difficult. Just wondering where you have read that. Thanks.

  • @sheephider82 there is an old audio clip that was released here last year of a guy from a guitar magazine interviewing ed over the telephone. vh had just played a gig in louisville and this guy taped his phone conversation with ed chillin post show in a hotel. this was 1982, and randy was recently killed. interviewer mentioned randy and the tragic death a couple of times. eddie's attitude is like "yeah he was good but I'm the man right?" you gotta hear it to see right through it.

  • @csmpeoil So your statement is based on what you seem to detect in an interview that was held 28 years ago. Interesting.

  • @Mrpretpakket exactamundo! the fact that eddie even carried that remarkably insecure ego publicly while randy's charred remaines were still hot to the touch is very telling....

  • @csmpeoil:

    From a January '81 interview

    - On Joe Perry: "I don't like him because I don't think he likes me. (...) I don't think he is that good.(...) .He lacks feel".

    - On Ted Nugent: "Nugent is a very nice guy, but I don't really like his tone"

    - On Jimmy Page: "He's good in the studio but (..) he plays like a he's got a broken and and he's two years old".

26 yo,in an industry packed with jealous guitar players. You think you can forgive him?

  • @Mrpretpakket wow evh talked smack about everyone.... way more insecure than I thought he was.

  • @csmpeoil See? You just think you made me believe that I accidenly gave you some more ammo to bash EvH, but I interpret your response as a predictive way to dodge my point. But I do understand you though: you just do not like EvH period. Many famous guitar players think highly of the epison EvH but you just don't...so you peddle up something you think was meant 28 years ago and use it to put a label on him. So yeah, you have one hell of an argument there. It's cool :)

  • @Mrpretpakket well you did provide more evidence to back my citation of evh's despicable attitude with regard to Randy. thank you for sharing those classic gems highlighting evh's narcissism and untoward commentary toward some of rock's greatest guitarists ever.

  • @csmpeoil under normal circumstances someone would call the quotes I shared some extra information; you call it "evidence", a confirmation of your prejudice. Now RR was an amazing guitar player and according to the stories also very nice person. I bet that you would point to your head if I would claim that I think of him as a deceitful narcisisit because he once banged Sharon Osbourne, the wife of his friend and one of the greatest rock singers ever. But why would I? I never met the guy.

  • @csmpeoil eddie was right about the people he spoke about. Jimmy Page is one of the sloppiest guitarist live.Ted Nugent really suxxs compared to his peers,Joe Perry guitar anyone with 1 yr under their belt can play.

  • @csmpeoil Glad to know that I'm not the only one who thought Eddie was overrated. It's true that what he brought to the table, especially through 1984, revolutionized rock guitar. And yes, he was also a great songwriter. But in terms of cutting heads, Randy Rhoads, Steve Vai, Nuno Bettencourt, and a slough of others would eat his lunch. And he's so jaded and burnt these days, I don't think he could play Eruption to the degree he did in 1978 if you had a gun to his head.

  • The bass player is Bob Daisley. Ozzy's original bass player

  • who's the bass player?

  • he could sing in the 80s but sometimes he cant see sing right now

  • AMAZIN' jAKE!

  • + fast , energic and it rocks sOLid !!!

    .

  • Waha, poor, stoned, tired Tommy fucks up comprehensively at 1:38-41 ((-;

Now I love this drummer like my brother. Like, after realizing he's a normal human being capable of error hahaha.

    But, sniff, RIP, Randy Castillo.

Thanks for the post. Love Jake.

    RIP, sniff, RR.

    ;'-)

  • He hasn´t fucked up^^ if you listen exactly, u can hear that it´s a fill perfectly in time!

  • I sure hope you are not insinuating Randy Castillo was better than Tommy Aldridge??? No way was RC even in the same league as Tommy Aldridge... Not even CLOSE... Listen to Speak of the Devil... No way...

  • And Randy Rhoads

  • Comment removed

  • jake rules!!!

  • Jake nailed the solo. He's the only one after Randy that I ever heard play it that clean. Sorry Zakk.

  • Jake plays wrong in the start of the solo... -.-

  • what do you want it to sound just like the record dipshit.

  • YOu play the solo as on the record, or you improise a new melody in parts or during the whole solo. Jake played some major diffrence playing the original solo. I've heard the record of this song probably houndred times, so it's really anoying me with such mistakes. I love Jake by the way.

  • Who gives a FUCK what you think bitch!!!!!!!!! Go fuck your dead daddy!!!!!!!!

  • NOBODY Can Replace JakeeLee...Ever ..
