    Readymade?

  • Gangster track...

  • this song is my life

  • Pause at 0:00. WTH?

  • @slpplexi1969 There's a parody clip at the beginning of the rainbow bridge film of that guy giving a speech and hendrix assassinating him...not sure why its in this though

  • pure love

  • That is just amazing. I don't think another guitar player will exist where the music flows just so effortlessly. Also, I love the playing of the rhythm and the melody at the same time. No one better than Hendrix (although we need people to come close. Those who come close enough are called demi-gods).

  • I love that spanish sounding playing he does at the end

  • HENDRIX PLAYING A V= BONER.

  • I'd sell my soul to be there.

  • God bless the 60's & 70's

  • ah Jimi... mesmerising. if there was one person I could bring back for a day...

  • Handsome Devil : )

    XX

  • The more I hear it the more beautiful it gets

  • Wow watching it a 10000 times!!!! JIMI IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can`t get enough of this brilliant GUY!

  • Fokin great share SeanDeRebel2008, just great share.

    Thank you man!

  • I;ve been watching all these from Maui. You can tell Jimi really is enjoying himself.

  • first time i see jimi hendrix not playing on a strat..

  • @ERNEisAWESOME

Check Isle of Wight Concert, September 1970. Another piece of concert really, really fine.

  • Does anyone think that Dave Gilmour stole some grooves for Echoes from this piece? Starting around :50 definitely sounds like he lifted the progression and rhythm.

  • I absolutely am still blown away. I haven't taken drugs in decades! It was the man and his music! Kick ass Jimi! Oh yeah! "and if I don't see ya no more on this world, I 'll meet you on the next one!"

    Rock on!

  • F**K Youtube! Mean . JIMI HENDRIX !!!

  • im not criticizing anything.i love this vid n jam.reminds me of my bro.he wrote words to this tune that were awesome and jimi himself would be proud.

  • gotta say our guitarplayer/singer in Pluto's Orbit tries to show his Jimi influence in our song "eye to eye" but Jimi Hendrix will always be number 1

  • Mitch Mitchell drums and Billy Cox bass

  • Look right there at 3:39. Jimi's doing Eruption! No, seriously, look, JImi is tapping!

  • @michaeljamsmith Hes knocking on his guitar not tapping

  • Who's that on drums? It's not Mitch is it?

  • @moopadoopolus Of course it is

  • This is one of the most beatiful solos I've heard - as the same solo in Woodstock. Jimi is the best and always will be!

  • Nice!! Thanks for your time and effort... thanks for sharing.

  • Great, thanks for this. There is always a new feel to Jimi each time he plays its unique.

  • (L)

  • Awesome, Virtuoso. I still cry that we lost him so young. Thanks, Sean.

  • Forty years gone and its still the zenith the impro at the end wow where is sensitivity like this today

  • Dear God I love this!

  • Can you imagine what that flying V would be worth today?

  • That drummer is a very high man.

  • sounds like the phrygian mode to me...

  • Does ANYONE know why he named this song Villanova Junction ? I had once heard it was a reference made to Vietnam War time and a location over there. Been waiting 40 years for this answer. If you can tell me please email me: texasmusic@ymail.com

  • everything can be linked to others.u must be high to feel it:)

  • in jimi's scale there s no such a thing like wrong note

  • Great footage of a dynamic guitarist!

  • All I could think of while at the Green Love Festival was "Man, if this song played as everyone packed up, that would make my life."

  • I think the best version of this was in the Woodstock performance. Still awesome to lsiten to it. glad, I was the 100th to like this.

  • @adamsmith13real also the improvision before this song.

  • Who the honey behind Mitch Mitchell??

  • Hendrix had a rare knack of making almost anything he played sound totally profound and listenable; even outtakes by Jimi, not all but most, are exciting to listen to. This is another slightly off-the-wall piece by Jimi bursting with ideas.

  • its not synced right its about a quarter note out

  • @tonyhawksacriminal guess you didnt read the description i left, The audio is the overdubbed-drums source, the only

one available, so the drums are out of sync a bit.

It's hardly noticeable though. Hope you all enjoy it.

  • @SeanDeRebel2008 He's talking about the guitar, everything's out slightly.

  • @SeanDeRebel2008 i normally listen to hendrix with my eyes closed anyway :) great jam , thanks !

  • @SeanDeRebel2008 i belive he is referering to the video sync, which does seem a bit off. -pce-

  • @tonyhawksacriminal who give's a fuck if it's off a little off, great post man!! I just love to watch him play!!!!

  • @tonyhawksacriminal who gives a shit man, its beautiful performance and you should be greatful you get to see it on video

  • You uploaded this on my birthday!

    I feel special

  • awesome! he went into Hey Baby!

  • i still cry from hendrix death

  • Bet he got some major ass after this show!

  • yeah Jimi was the soul of real guitar music!

  • yet again ,Jimi just blew my Mind!!

  • I can't fukin believe the guy below me ic complaining this is fukin great I thought he only done this at Woodstock or that was the only recorded version thanks man

  • Well what's not to like about this video?! But I have to say I absolutely love the wall of Marshall's behind him. In the day and age of monitors I miss the "Wall Of Sound" that you get from stacking speakers under a really great amp head. Nothing in between you and the audience! I was not old enough to see Hendrix live but I've seen plenty of concerts before monitors came around and the "Experience" Lol is better at least to my ears. You can hear all the nuances of a great guitar player better.

  • Totally bad ass! Little known song with righteous guitar riffs. Wish I had been old enough to see Jimi play in Hawaii...

  • now is 2011 and whow always touch my Soul and it is a Great feeling Mister Hendrix i hoppe too See You in Heaven

  • is this gypsy sun and rainbows

  • I don't know if You have seen the DVD Version we did called "Maui"... we just used the wally heider mobile mix...

  • Such a great quality version of one of the best pieces pieces of music I've ever heard, possibly the best. Thanks a lot!

  • Awesome mellow instrumental....on a Flying V....great stuff!

  • This is very unfocused and raw...Which is what I love about it. Sounds like something that should have been played at the Isle of Wight...There will never be another Jimi.

  • To bad the original sound track was destroyed jimi didn't like it and he re did it guitar drums all of it

  • @hendrixxx360 Is that what is going on here? I thought it wasn't synced right but even if it was his hand motions dont match up with some of the notes he's playing. Nice to know

  • TY for posting!
