Amazing videos! Your A340-300 videos are my favorite. Amazing roar on takeoff and landing but quiet as ever during the flight. One of the greatest birds to ever take flight. The A340-300 has quite a few advantages over other newer planes and airlines have to take consideration for them before phasing out this beautiful machine. My second favorite plane behind the brand new 747-8 . You have my subscription! Keep them coming mate!

Grüezi/Salü. Thanks for posting the video. Now i have to go watch your other videos. I fly Swiss from KORD-LSZH-KORD at least once a year. Really love the great service Swiss provides. My last flight was in May 2010. The LSZH-KORD leg was on HB-JHF, A330-343X, when it was only two weeks old. Still had the new plane smell. :) Merci vilmal.

Hey Dom, I know it's a slightly stupid question but flying Airbuses isn't it slightly weird because of the joystic instead of the column thing that boeings and douglases have? I mean at first it's like a car without steering isn't? I know that sounds stupid..anyways great vid, Michael.

I have spoken to many many pilots about that issue, many of them have flown 747's, Md80's and 11's, 767's and all of it. All of them agree, that after a few landings and sim trainings, youre good to go and wont miss ye olde "culomn thing" :) . The plane uses flybywire, a good thing indeed.

For all who are asking is he the pilot give his profile a view, I assume he is cabin crew and sets the vid up prior to takeoff or landing. The profile also states that he is a pilot, but I doubt you would be working as cabin crew than flying if you had a commercial pilots license, so I would then assume PPL. Might be wrong, but he will let us know soon.
