I was at rosenblatt outside, I literally almost died, about 5 seconds from getiin blown away in the 100 mph wind. It was a near death experience, it was insane.
this thing was nuts...i live on 99th and fort...one minute it was sunny and nice, then bam 10 minutes later it was pouring rain and hailing...thank goodness my power didnt go out tho...I cant believe 2 ppl got killed in this storm...
Wow, that's insane. I was in an apartment complex on 10th and Williams. We were looking out some glass double doors and we couldn't see ANYTHING. It picked up some railroad ties and moved them somewhere (I don't think the owners found them). I was going to head out to go back to my own apartment when I heard the sirens, and I pulled back into a different parking spot. After the storm I looked and a massive branch fell on the place my car was parked before I moved it. It was insane.
Awesome video! It's hard to believe that this was no tornado. And, what's worse is that not only is this one of the craziest seasons Omaha has seen, but that it isn't even over yet! I just had my power restored after 27 hours with NOTHING. I feel bad for those that are still without. (Olde Towne Bellevue)
after this storm, our power was out until the 30th.
it sucked!

My brother and his kids were actually on the I80 bridge when this hit. Not exactly the best car ride his kids have ever had.

We were only out of power for about 12 hours, but we still have a line out back to one of the apartments that hasn't been fixed.
