I disagree the ALOHA SPIRIT may be dead on Oahu, but KAUAI, especially Kealia has IT! Kealia Boyz - hands down the best & most friendly surfers on the island! If you didn't get ALOHA at Kealia you need to look at yourself in the mirror because it is YOU that is unfriendly.
I love kealia. Often blown out but good practice and can get big. I love the waves here because they are so unpredictable. I pretty much learned to surf here. I use to live in Kapaa and this was the closest break to my home. I also liked Donkeys down the road. Probably the most friendlies wave on the island.

nah Aloha spirits not dead. maybe u ran into some unfriendly people! they ruin it for the rest of us who still have alot of Aloha! God Bless
