@MrSolracable People who dont know how a Tornado looks should stop talking. Stop the video so that you have the jet right in the middle of the picture. You will clearly see that it is indeed a Alpha Jet and NOT a Tornado.
1st jet is definately no tornado. only thing missing is the 3 jets going supersonic, lol that would give the cameraman somethin to scream about. so low im suprised he didnt suck a furry lil creature in...
Freeze at 18 seconds and you have an Alpha Jet,GAF markings from about 1991, I did think they were originally Jaguars, but the engine noise is too "weedy", plus the soundtrack is a bit of a giveaway eh?
they are quite clearly apha jets - anyone with any aircraft recognition could tell you that... and as training aircraft they are very manouverable, hence the low flying bravado. They are in no way shape or form any nearer a jaguar or tornado as they are a hercules... now get a grip and read something before jumping to ignorant conclusions.
Nostrildummas: They are indeed Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jets, but to say they're no nearer a Jaguar or Tornado than a Hercules is obviously ridiculous. The Alpha Jet is similar to both (fans of historical aircraft design will note that the Alpha Jet was spawned from the same initial design collaboration as the Jaguar), so it would appear that your comment is as ignorant as those you seek to correct.
I would suggest someone as knowledgeable about aircraft shape and design would do well to note there are a significant number of differences in both the detail on a jaguar and an alpha jet, in fact the only similarity is the layout of the underslung twin jet engines. Jag is more square and sleek, squarer tipped wings, squarer intakes, 16.83m long (Jag) 11.75m long (alpha jet). Alpha jet has longer wings than a jag so completely different silhouette.
They're Alphas. No doubt. Brown and tan camo on the first, flash of dayglow on the tail of the last, I'd say Belgian. Plus you hear a guy shout "non". This isn't even an argument.
If they were Tornado's I'd want to be asking why they hav'nt got the landing gear down at that altitude, as we spend so much time building them so they can land. HOWEVER at that speed I would not recomend landing ! Great clip.
lol the last one was really low. its an tornado not alphajet you think its an alphajet because it went by really fast you dint see it claerly i was fooled to!!!
