  • You will note that this is one of several training points set up at this training site. Each is clearly marked and the instructors job through the day is to repeat the class to several squads, one after another. with each completion the squads rotate to the next tac lane (GP point) for the next class. This allows for rapid and effective training of large formations. More to come on tac lane construction very soon on Libertytreeradio. MGK/GDW!

  • Good vid brother, you know more then I do us u.s. solider or not I appreciate your skill, I would like to attn your class

  • He isn't talking US Army, he's talking militia, big difference "pro".

  • Also notice this is "FIELD" medic class. Injured militiamen will most likely (at the most soonest possible time) be e-vacced out to a safe location for further treatment.

  • Hopefully most of the US Forces side with the constitution and fight with the militias against foreign troops.

  • The Militia will be fighting a guerilla war, this is not the U.S. Army in this video. Who's the idiot again? Maybe you should watch the video again Nippon.

  • See it as a compliment.

Thinking the Malitia looks like a military force.

But I have to reeeeeeally dissagree with you though, you should do everything in your power to either make sure they pull through, or make sure they don't suffer.

If they don't stop bleeding, and if it's a really bad wound, shooting them would be the best idea.

I'de waste a bullet over seeing some one suffer.(or letting them)

  • Don't get hit in the first place.

  • To open the airway in the presence of trauma, the modified jaw thrust is the way to go. Thumbs on the zygomas (cheek bones) your fingers lift the jaw upwards; elevating the tongue out of the way. You need to be behind the patient, so that your fingers are pointed towards the pt's toes. It's also a great way to control an airway while using a bag valve mask- if you have the luxury of having someone else present to bag for you. pm081

  • Realistically, if somebody is in this bad of condition where you can't make out their face or whether they are breathing or not, in this type of Gurellia Warfare, YOU WILL TAKE ALL THEIR GEAR AND LEAVE THEM. Even if you remove them from the scene, they will more than likely die at camp or later from serious infection. You will not have the medical capabilities to rehabilitate this person. This is the true nature of this type of warfare.

  • You can't restore them to fighting condition like this. It may save them, but EMT or Emergency first response still rely on getting people to hospital to get them fixed.

But I will still suggest people to get to the level of Wilderness First aid, because at least that teaches you a little about nursing and more about improvising.

More realistically, go get body armour. But it's not like you can run around with that heavy crap.

  • Need more of this! Only one thing wrong, do not tilt head by lifting under neck, old school/ military! You can make a neck injury worse, or sever nerve/ spine and kill them. Always tilt head by lifting the jaw.

  • both work.

  • ABC's Airway, breathing, circulation

  • Knew most of it, few new things, good info. He could do with less "ums" though.

  • now that you mention it, every time he says 'um' I wince =P

    Great video

  • i didn't even notice until i read your comment about the ums.i counted 31. great info though.

  • Good job guys.. Good to see people training.

  • great video

  • Excellent. This guy knows what he is talking about. Former 91W or CLS trained at least or could be a paramedic in real life.

  • You know this is real life..... Dont you?

  • so what is the deal with caffeinated beverages in hot weather?

  • Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor (makes your blood vessels smaller) and therefor raises your blood pressure. Elevated BP leads to increased urination in a generally healthy person. In hot weather, your body is trying hard to get what it needs, where it needs it via the blood and usually with a reduced fluid volume (due to sweating). It's not a good idea to compound fluid volume loss just because you want to drink a Mountain Dew. - I was an Army nurse in combat in Iraq. Drink Water!

  • thwolf1969-thanks for the answer!all i drink is water anyway but i try to learn all i can.THANKS!!!

  • i like this video, very informative

  • Volume is a bit low on the guy talking, but good information. keep the vids coming
