I've owned both a 1988 and a 1989 and loved them both. I did like the '89 parking lights in yellow. The only thing I didn't like about them was the cruise control - it loses its 'set' on steep grades. otherwise, great rides. BTW I also owned a 1979 Town Car, a 94 and 95 Mark VIII, and now my daily driver is a very nice 1978 Town Coupe.

Really nice ride. I have a 88 and the same color. I want to get a black rag top for it though. Id also like that digital dash that comes in the Signature Series...Yo uever have any trouble out of the digital dash? Ive heard they can be troublesome and expensive to repair.

Only thing that is so bad with the 1980-89 T cars is that the glove box door suffers if you allow it to be exposed to the sun or other heat source then you get the famous top door buckle. Also the arm rests crack quickly. Oh and let's not forget the dash pad speaker grille openings that must never be touched or crack you must purchased another in any color you want as long as it.s drk grey or tan if you can still order this item. I love my Cartier but the interior is starting to break me.

please tell me how you lock the doors using the key pad entrance

@stephsfashions To lock all doors, you press the right two buttons simultaneously. FYI, if you unlock driver's door with keypad, and then press "4" all doors will unlock. Also, if you unlock driver's and then press, the right most button as well as the 3rd from right simultaneously, the trunk will open.

I had a 1982 Lincoln Mark VI Sig. Series Coupe with the same electronic dash and man did I love that car! I hope you keep this car forever, sadly mine was stolen. Beautiful baby you got here! =)

Something is wrong with the beep - it's nearly silent. Yours is working properly. Mine isn't.

I had a 1991 Coupe DeVille...triple black spring special with perforated leather seats and the spring special wheels. It was fun. Fast too, 200 horse.
