Why did you call it an ILS whereas they were cleared to land on 27 left "à vue"?

@BDESGSH2010 I'm dutch myself so I had know idea what it meant. But I suspect it means "Visual"? Well they may be cleared for a visual but, as you can see, they are landing the plane manually by following the ILS signals. Thats why I called it a ILS.

werken al die knopjes ook ergens voor of is da gewoon om stoer te lijken? vraag ik me wel een af want je kan tog nooit als die knopjes gebruiken of er moeten allemaal irritante onzige dingen achter die knopjes zitten die ik gewoon een keer moet hebben ingedrukt????????????????

Haha, geloof me al die knopjes hebben een functie! Het is wel zo dat van de meeste knopjes of beeldschermen er 2 zijn, zodat ze nog een back up hebben als er een uit zal vallen.
