I have to say again - however low a human being can go without committing a heinous crime, it seems clear that John Edwards went there. We all make mistakes, but how this man could do this under the circumstances is beyond me. Does he have a conscience? I hope so. It should bother him for the rest of his life. I'm sure he's a good father, and I understand why Elizabeth did not want to bad-mouth him too much in public. But how vain and selfish can you be? He's not THAT good looking.
John really should be disappointed in himself...probably for the rest of his life. As obvious as it seems, getting "some" on the side is one temptation a married man should never cave into. It's clearly a stupid thing to do. I guess they had their own form of family healing behind closed doors, but his public aspirations are over.
Such a wonderful classy woman. A terrible loss. Cancer steals so much. She was able to say something nice about John after all the crap he did. I am grateful every day he did not make it become President. He was not worthy of all he was blessed with.
