To be completely honest nothing else on T.V has even caught my interest,even a little, except for smallville.

So yeah, aside from smallville, I haven't seen anything else on T.V with enough entertainment factor to keep you sucked in to the series.

I got into watching LAW and Order SVU, because my girlfriend was heavily into it, but I wouldn't exactly say it's an amazing show. It's entertaining to watch in it's own way, but NO WAY is it even half as adventurous as Hercules,Xena and smallville.

@Lance241151 It's hard to compare Law and Order to Hercules and Xena since the premise is completely different. Hercules and Xena are more like superheroes (and obviously Smallville is about Superman), while Law and Order is a crime/detective show. They're going for very different atmospheres and stories.

@MorbidGuardian To be fair, you bring up a very good point; they aren't really related in any way. Still though, I'm just speaking on a broader perspective, on shows as a whole. Not just the premise of the story, but the atmosphere as you say. The atmosphere in Law and Order feels "confined", as well it should be, since it's suppose to be a show about two detectives that work within NYC. It's not like they had much of a choice, but regardless, it still feels "confined", even if not intentional.

@KyleKatarn789 Thats a fact. It may be a B movie type series but it was a long lasting one, good stories, and plenty of action. Today seems to be more about the tearjerk dramas, or the many many knock off CSI/cop shows. Wheres shows like Combat!, 12 O'Clock high, Hawaii 5 O (ahh the old copper shows) So far Scrubs, the walking dead, and House are the only TV series I really follow anymore. But I do have all seasons of Legendary journies to fall back on if TV fails (which it usually does)

@Usernamesarebunk420 I'd have to agree with you completely. The more modernized shows nowadays are boring and uncreative. When they created Hercules TLJ's and even XENA WP later on, it was the most awesome thing to hit T.V. It's the the equivalent of back to the future as a TV show.

The idea was unique, the show itself was a unique idea, based on Greek mythology. It was a risky move to try something so different, but they pulled it off MASTERFULLY. Nothing on TV has come close since then.
