And btw, all i did was state that the IMAGE is pixels, because, that's what is rendered, thats the point of high resolutions, to make it render more, smaller PIXELS on screen for HQ renders.

well, i agree, this map looked nothing like far cry 2. But far cry 2 is not all jungle, infact it is very open. This map was just tooo open and green.
i have both on PC and i have to say farcry 2 is better. Crysis is a bitch to run because of its demanding specs and once you actually find a computer to run it the weapons customization is probably the only really fun thing about it. the plot is trash. Aliens, Koreans(communists)fighting the us, power suits and of course a nuke launcher the size of an RPG. so believable crytek. The lead roles are common stereotypes and how in the name of Christ did a cockney englishman get into the us spec ops.
Far Cry 2 is MUCH better gameplay then Crysis but Crysis is more high quality then Far Cry 2. I love Far Cry 2 more then I love Crysis so I'm voting for Far Cry 2.

But its very close to them.
The vegetation in FarCry2 is much better than the vegetation in Crysis.

why the heck do you always argue far cry 2 vs crysis? Both two are amazing games, fps genre, maybe a bit similar in graphics, but still they are unique pieces of art on their own.

It does look like Far Cry 2. Go watch the demo they showed when they announced FC2, the demo map there looked almost the same as this. Unless you were dumb enough to think that this video was made to say that Crysis is Far Cry 2, it's not and you are not smart enough for the internet.

far cry 2 is better graphiced than crysis. Crysis only has looks. Hardly any physics. Plus it cost loads of money to run crysis.

its not only the cryengine2, its also crysis itself...
i mean when you play crysis sp-maps you maight get 20 fps, but when you play a far cry 2 ALIKE map, you get 4o fps...

far cry 2 and crysis are made by the same people! of course they look like each other, far cry is pretty much a real world upgraded crysis, so yea far cry is gonna be total kick ass awesome and just pretty much replacing the still awesome crysis

agree..Crysis is more like the next-gen Far Cry 1, Far cry 2 is just very realistic etc..no high tech and aliens..When i need to choose between crysis and FC2 i wouldnt even bother ^^
