This is one of her original compositions that she demoed for a potential pop/rock follow-up to her 'I Do Not Want' album. She never finished this song properly, as is obvious (very lovely though it is "in the rough"), and she did not have enough new compositions to fill an album in 1992, being very, very tired. Hence, she scrapped an original album and went to the idea of the Big Band covers record.
She shoulda released this and whatever else was blobbing around on her plate at the time.

This song reminds me of Spain, where I have been in October. The white storks over the fortress of Badajoz flying higher and higher. Sinead has the ability to bring a third dimension into her songs. I love her.

She was not a chosen one and this is still keeping her in a white space of an unsolvable problem with selfdestructing consequences. No one can ever fill this hole. Maybe there is an exit, I do not know.
