  • i think that's cool it's strengthens the suggestibility of parallel unvierses existing on magnetic dimensions.

  • I TRIED THIS ALREADY ITS REAL.

  • How would you erase the memory from the magnet? ;)

  • @heyzuz23 you have to wash it in warm soapy water.. and dry it laying flat... never tumble dry.

  • try placing a magnet on your butt when you poop and when your feeling like you need more poop place the magnet back on your butt and you poop again XD its legit.

  • imposible, and even if magnet could save memory, then It only would 1bit... witch is 1/8 of byte. witch is 1/8 of a single letter, witch is only one digit (0)

  • Ok, now explain this to me:

-You write 12345678, put a magnet, and the number is "saved" in it?

    - Then you wrote 0, and put a magnet, it somehow magically appears 12345678?

Now I am wondering, when you put the magnet when 0 is on the calculator, why the magnet gives the memory (12345678) instead storing 0???

  • @IcaJaBre He didn't write 0 he deleted the data with On/C

  • can the casio calculator do this too?

  • this is bullshit nothing happen

  • i just did it with my head and it works!!

  • or just tap the memory button on it

  • easy

  • lalala

  • Where do we get those magnets?

  • Note that he has the ""MEMORY" sign on.

  • i like :)

  • I feel sorry for any one who thinks this is real.

  • @BlueFoxTV Don't be, I am not, and this video brings me back to a topic I once asked about before; Why the heck is no-one using liquid crystalline as a superior replacement to vaporised aluminium ions?

FLASH memory - you might not have believed in it either, and who could blame you; the concept of a medium with extremely limited life is ridiculous; However, I have to hand it to those engineers at IBM et. all who perfected EEPROM.

LCD's lock their state if the 50kHz carrier is interrupted.

  • @BlueFoxTV thanks for feeling sorry for me.

  • Exactly how HDD's work.

  • @Kurtreidable Not really, hard drives can store just 1 bit of data per magnetic domain; you'd need at least 27 bits (magnetic domains) to store an 8 digit number, as this calculator displays (2^27 = ~134,000,000; add another bit for the sign plus more for decimal numbers).

Of course, nothing is actually happening in this video (magnetron magnets do work on hard drives - erasing them, that is).

  • @ms63129 He was being sarcastic! My work here is done! Captain obvious! AWAY!

  • dont show everyone how we do it ! - cheaters

  • @acebedomanager Oh grow up; look at BlueFoxTV; he is not happy that you are stealing all his cable TV commissions, without even the courtesy to disclose the full truth.

  • calculator spreads its around power and magnets have pull power so it is normal :D

  • Sorry, my calculator have "save" and "load" button

  • incoming mute!

  • magnets are the new storage devices now ehh?

  • how can magnets have memoryif they just stick to stuff

  • If you could use after effects just a little buit more you could make it spit fire also :P

  • The calculator`s like "HEY!!! STOP MESSING WITH MY AWESOME BRAIN!!!!"

  • fucking magnets how do thet work?

  • it's wired through the back of the calculator which you cant see

  • my dad have?

  • @gamemonkey44 i thought it just made the robot thingy go beep beep :(

  • The calculator is glued to the table? :)

I Think this is a nice video effect.

  • That is nice video editing. Notice how there is nothing moving at all in the video when the number changes. He could have just cut the video after he placed the magnet, typed in the number, and then continued the video.

  • where'd 0:54 go?

  • That's why the spinning discs in a hard drive are magnetic...

  • The calculator is made by canon

  • put a really high powered magnet near your PC too it does the same thing!™

  • @Hikimon1 more like remove ur memory !!!!

  • @Hikimon1 It erases the hard drive

  • @Hikimon1 Was you born a spastic or just evolved that way

  • @Hikimon1 Now with unlimited space!™

  • @Hikimon1 What's up with the TM?

  • @Hikimon1 Breaks the hard drive ._.

  • I also loled at all the stupid comments who believed this.

  • Faker than hell

  • U KING OF FAKE!

  • that is very wierd

  • In this thread, stupid people trying to understand science.

  • memory stick from the stone age

  • Try that 2 magnets connected at the calculator at the same time.

  • Hard drives use magnets...So I could see how this could work, but you'd need the right calculator, and the right magnet.

    en . wikipedia . org/wiki/Hard_drive

  • some booky calculator

  • erm not to be the guy but this does look litle fake

but iv nevar tryed it before so i cant say that eighter

so im gonna stet it i still doubt it 99%999999999999999 procent

  • @The413danny erm not to be the guy but you come across as a christian

but iv nevar tryed it before so i cant call you ignorant

so im gonna stet it i still doubt your religion 99%999999999999999 procent

Ignorance is the key to stupidity.

  • @The413danny that would be 99.999999999999999%/percent not 99%999999999999999 procent

  • @The413danny 99%999999999999999?

  • I know how I'm cheating on my math test now

  • I'm gonna take a bunch of different magnets to school and looks kickass inputting numbers into my calculator.

  • Magnets. How do they work?

  • damn i could have used this to my advantage in an exam...

  • Dude! you should make a RAM block out of magnets ONLY :D I would buy it.. :P

  • i have a theory. you can see the its written "memory" top middle of the screen. the magnet simply triggers the metal button that brings the memory number back

  • @KrizH3 oh whatever

  • i had some unknown feelings by watching this video...

  • too much time on your hands...

  • how do u use it on a scientific calculator

  • Unscrew the bottom of your laptop and place one on the hard drive. That's super cool.

  • @WildcatsLexKy HAHAHAHA VERY FUNNY SOMEONE'S GONNA LOSE ALL THERE TERRABYTES OF PORN. but seriously lol

  • I see what you did here with the math exam.

  • I don't think the magnet is "remembering" the number. That's not possible. Rather, I think the magnets, each with their particular "strengths", is triggering a particular cache inside where that number still resides.

  • I think I've wasted 100 dollars trying to do the things that you do.

  • I hold it next to my graphical calculator and it is now broken :(((

  • STRANGE! ISN'T IT???

    *British accent*

  • cool

  • 66666666................3.............lol

  • Uh huh. So, riddle me this. How is it that you control whether the magnets save or output the data? When you place the magnet next to the calculator the first time, nothing changes. When you place it next to the calculator the second time, it changes. The third time, no change again.

  • A while back some guys tried this same trick on slot machines. I think it will be a few more years before they get out of prison.

  • @sanity599 the owners of casinos should all go to prison

  • @RustyGunsM10 That's not true. Nobody makes anybody go inside and gamble. The days of the mob running the casinos are long over. What you say is the same as saying all liquor sores and bar owners should go to prison. Take responsibility for your self.

There are casinos where I live. I have never even been in one, well once to use the bathroom. But in my youth I used to be a good poker player.

  • guess I found out a new way to cheat on exams

  • @ThySales The Calculators have M+, MR, and MC Buttons on them, which are used to store numbers in internal memory.

  • wow caculators have memory cards science is scary

  • D:

  • fuck great

  • How many magnets do u need to play Battlefield 3?

  • @nuclear4541 to play battlefield 3 about 1 trillion, but for mw3 just one xDDD

  • @FerTara1

To play MW3 its gonna take 600,000,000 times more than one.

  • @brettmiddle okk, i don't wanna fight. I prefer bf, but i haven't play mw3 so i don't know what it looks like. So enjoy your game, but try bf3 if you didn't :) its amazing xD

  • @FerTara1

Lol I know you were being weird on the count of magnets...but yeah. I've played it before, I think its amazing.

  • @nuclear4541 Who the fuck cares?

  • @nala243 Alot more people than cod players/

  • @nuclear4541 16

  • @nuclear4541 4 battlefiled 3 you`l need 3 magnets

  • @nuclear4541 42

  • @nuclear4541 lol 117 likes the spartan number ofmaster chief

  • @nuclear4541 Over 9000!!!

  • Calculator Hack ! nice amazing !

  • of course. what do you think that magnetic strip on the back of your credit card is for?

  • P.S:Use a magnet

  • Yeah! But you can't divide by cero!! >.<

  • Now i have to find an excuse to have mutiple load of magnets on my desk at school.

  • it comes with an overwrite feature

  • my advice... dont watch that drunk... it doesnt work well

  • Nice trick!!

  • THATS AMAZINGGGGG OMFGGGG!!!!

  • And this is the solution for the infinite hard disk memory.

  • sounds weird ill try it.. if it fails, ill sue u !

  • it works also on your HDD

  • @mirroje haha.... (delited all info on my hdd)

  • @mirroje He's right! It really just worked! Thanks for the tip! :)

  • @mirroje :D

  • @mirroje ill try it:)

  • @mirroje lol.

  • @spiderlord2 it works on my exam last time

  • Comment removed

  • try to put magnet on your head and see if that work

  • Is this real?! He could be cutting out the screen in editing...

  • @MurdocLC OF COURSE ITS REAL. PEOPLE TRY IT AND RATE THE VIDEO

  • @ERKRAKANARB No.

  • you know you can use this in the exam if a calculator is needed

  • THIS IS FAKE. HE'S POSTED IT AMONG THE 'FAKE' SECTION IS HIS OWN VIDEOS :S

  • Mattlucas96:"i tried this on my computer and it didn't work...(LOL!!!) :)

  • Looks like we need a "How It Works" episode for magnets now.

  • can i upload mp3s on my magnet?

  • I tryed this on my computer and it didnt work.......

  • Fucking magnets, how do they work?

  • i tried this on my tv, but it didnt work

  • Look closely when the magnet touches the calculator.. it could easy be cheating there.

  • i have watched a few of your video's now and you seem very smart.. do you have a good job?

  • With this, is it possible to transfer information from one calculator to another? You know, in engineering examinations which require calculators, a magnet might be handy. lol

  • how the fvck u knew these things? Awesomeee =)))

  • wowww man

  • I'm assuming it didn't remember 0 because 0 is a representation of no charge. I'm guessing the magnet is of a similar material used in the processor of the calculator, so the magnet receives the charge and can redistribute it back to the calculator. Digital information is just electromagnetic pulses distributed in different patterns to represent information.

  • @Ringei144 Thats better than the explanation I got.

  • @Ringei144 Close. Electricity aligns electrons in a semiconductor device. The electrons are aligned in a pattern to represent either 1 (on) or 0 (off). Combinations of ones and zeros creates binary, the language for all computers/memory.

In other words, digital information is just electric pulses to create a combination of 1's and 0's which then creates electromagnetic data aka "information".

  • Cool, I just upluodet mp3's to my magnet.

  • why didnt it memorize "ZERO"

  • @773aaron When you clear the calculator and get "zero" there is no longer any memory in the calculator. Calculators have RAM. Random Access Memory. When you punch in "12345679", the calculator memorizes it. In short, RAM uses electricity through a semi conductive material creating a magnetic field to store data. 0 must mean that there is no memory, so no magnetic fields are created. Therefore, the magnet is not aligning its electrons according to the RAM.

    P.S. spinning electrons are magnets.

  • why won't it record the zero?

  • Wich canon calculator do you have?

  • is this real if so how?

  • FUCKING MAGNETS. How do they work?

  • @HuzzahImmaToaster Magic. :D

  • @HuzzahImmaToaster A combination of the sexiest, strongest, electrons spinning in the same direction packed oh so very nicely into a rectangle so you can slap that report card onto the fridge.

  • @HuzzahImmaToaster In all my years I have never seen or heard of magnets fucking.

  • @HuzzahImmaToaster miracles

  • can it also store operations?

  • If you get a bigger magnet can it hold more?

  • @Evilhen88 In short, no. I wish it was that simple though.

  • Haven't you seen magnetic tickets? Credit cards? They all use magnetic strips. Stop showing things off, your just a turnoff, Brussy-puppy

  • But what will happen if connect 2 magnets?

  • Thumbs up if you noticed there was no 54th second... =]

  • MY MAGNET HAS 8G MEMORY :D SCREW IPODS

  • Magnets, how the fuck do they work?!

  • When he puts the magnet on the left by calculator and puts the other magnet against the right side of the calculator you can see the magnet on the left move a'lil

  • @CouzinProdutions

    and your point is?

  • Big lie... Big number of visitors :-/

  • Throw all your flash drives away everybody. We using magnets now.

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • I bet Chuck Norris just have to breathe on the calculator to have it show FullHD movies just using the 8 segment LCD's...

  • thats how usb built is hehe

  • 1,466,000

  • @0001Flash Same...

  • @0001Flash HTF is't still 1,466,000 ???

  • @unleashed68alx someone put a magnet next to the view counter. now every time someone watches the video the magnet resets the views.

  • @zahexman Lool mabie =))

  • lol you wrote 66666

  • try doing it o a laptop and it will brake

  • amazing! it worked up to 4 magnets but the fifth one failed...
