The beef that is imported is more than 30 months old, which basically means that it is infected. The beef in the USA are less than 30 months old; therefore its safe. Beef that gets exported to S. Korea and beef that gets sold here in US are different. Like, if you go look at your grocery store, there is a sticker with the label "USDA Choice" "USDA Select", etc. Those are the good, safe beef. They are like the beef quality grades. The ones that get exported are probably not even on the chart with different qualities because they are so poor. So people in US don't really have to worry about it.
