My cat's no special breed..found in a box in the park. She's 9 now but very self sufficient. These cats are adorable but look high maintenance. I think a lot of cats become aggravated when the top of their head is touched too harshly. With brushes, fingers etc. It seems to be a sensitive point for them.

We used to have a big fluffy persian, hated getting brushed, fought the brush tooth and nail whenever we tried. Ended up getting all matted and tangled and every nine months or so we'd have to take him to the groomers to get his body shaved. It was very sad looking with a bigfluffy head and no body hair.

@FerretJohn Mine hated to be combed for 4 years, then he began understanding , that it's for his onw best and he was asking me to brush for 2 times a day! I cut myself his hair one time a year in half length except legs, head and tail. It's much easier for him and can be combed easily.
