i really enjoy these videos becuase it helps to see the multiple ways of taking corners. but i still fail to understand the "proper" body position. i see people sitting high and leaning away but also seeing people sitting low and leaning in. i understand that different bikes require slight changes in your position. but its really confusing for me to fully grasp the proper positions. i have been riding for a year now.

@xxdirtydieselxx that's because there is no 'proper riding position'. at least not one specific one. there are things you can do right and things you can do wrong but overall it's about making yourself feel comfortable, keeping the bike balanced and not putting your weight through the bars. Feel and confidence in your grip follows suit. watch top level racers on the track and road racing and you will see many different styles.

man why doesn't any of these riders know to kiss the mirror on the side you are turning? they can get there butts of the seat and there knees down but there head and shoulders are still straight up, get those down off your bike and you wont have to lean it so hard, that will help you from losing traction.
