  • He reminds me so much of my 2 year old it's crazy! The sounds he makes, the movements, everything. My son only says a few words, bangs his head into the floor, arches his back when he is mad and stiffens up, he walks on his toes and lines things up. He even spins the wheels on his cars & more but they are telling me now he just has a "sensory integration deficiency". We live in a small town and I don't know if I should continue with this diagnosis or seek other opinion. I am at a loss.

  • @MrEshawnc Where do you live? I would def continue & get a dx of autism. After 10 years of dealing w/ this, I've learned that autism is just autism-a label. But it's ALL sensory-toxic-metal-allergies-gut-processing etc.... all connected to the immune system. Doesn't really matter what u call it- as long as you treat it. Go to Tacanow.org & get all the info on biomedical treatments please :) U don't need a ton of $, just understanding.

  • He's watching blues clue's music episode. haha sad that I know this, my eldest used to watch that one over and over and over. He has Asperger's not that that has anything to do with the blues clues. Love your more recent videos of him too

  • Cheers! Michael, you look so natural and I like it.

  • I have to say, Michael is an absolute doll. I also have to say, his baby actions are like home movies of my own son. The wrist movements, the "da, da, da" talking, the love of going round and round. My son is 14 yrs old now, and he had a rough time in elementary school. An IEP and speech therapy helped. We took him to a specialist at age 7 (nothing in particular was spotted) He is now an A student and in an pre-engineering program in highschool. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful family!

  • Hello my brother Austintistic has autism he is 15 i have to say it is a big struggle i cant help it sometimes we fight and sometimes he gets his way like all the time and i hardly do i mean i no he has autism i just idk.... answers

  • My son did the same...how we broke through..joining in...the more we chased him the more he forgot about stimming and wanted to be chased by mum or dad (breakthrough no1)..have loads more detail on how to help if you want? :)

  • Please do not give this child one more immunization shot. He has enough damage.

  • don't worry :)

  • he is so sweet.. reminds me a lot of my little boy who was diagnosed in april of 08

  • It breaks my heart to think that something other than being born with autism may have caused it.

  • my son turned two in oct. he was diagnosed this past august...he was not able to draw on a picture, or point to anything he wanted, since hes had early intervention hes able to do these things now he isnt talking yet, but he is babbling a lot and repeating words

  • Ants-- babbling and repeating is great! That is how my son started to talk.

  • My son does almost the exact same behaviors. He is 21 months old. Everyone tells me "oh, he's just slow, or a late talker" But I know better. I have place calls to get him evaluated. I am worried, but I know what I am going to hear. What degree was your boy diagnosed at?

  • @RulesTheRoost82 Same here. I am sick of people telling me he is just a late talker. My 7 year old daughter has global delays and was delayed in speech but at least she still said mama and dada with meaning before 1 year. He was assessed the other day to see if he was eligible for an in home autism program to get help and he is eligible. She said he is too young to diagnose at 21 months but he probably is on the spectrum. He does not talk, he will make a few sounds but not often. No babbling.

  • Your Son is a beautyful young boy. He is like my son. My Son Antonio is 2 years old and have autism too, I watch your Videos and I think ; Hey this little boy reminded me my son. Sorry If my English is not so good :-)

  • your son is a doll..our son is in the process of being diagnosed..when you son walking by the fence and makingk lines on the carpet he reminded me allot of Silas....Silas LOVES lines...i have some videos showing his facintaions with lines and wheels

  • i agree, he does seem mild. but then again this is only a small portion of his life. did you know at this time or have any idea that he had autism?? what prompted you to have him evaluated??

  • He wasn't playing with other kids. He kept lining everything up. He stopped eating certain foods. He didn't sleep thru the night. He wasn't talking. At one point he was banging his head on the floor (that lasted about 2 days). He did a lot of eye stimming- like in the video.

  • my son hasn't been "officaially" dx with autism, but i know he is on the spectrum and so does his pedi. we are waiting for a formal evaluation from the University of Washington... but he does all the same types of things. Do you believe that vaccines were the cause?

  • I believe that the viruses in the vaccines along with the toxins (mercury, aluminum, etc) contributed to my son's autism. I stopped vax at 18 months. Go to the Generation Rescue site- they have tons of information. Children can recover- there is hope! If not recovery, then they can improve greatly- like my son. But, i'm still hoping :)

  • thank you so much! i also believe that my son's regression was due to vaccines... i pray that your son makes a FULL recovery! :)

  • right back at ya! :)

  • It is weird, we were all told not to eat fish during pregnancy because it has mercury in it. But they put the exact same stuff in vaccines, and give it to our babies!! I don't get it.. THEN they decide that it is bad, take it out of vaccines, but let them use up the rest of the lots with mercury in them. WTH???

  • My son has it too. Watch a vid on google vids called "Mercury, Autism and the Vaccine Agenda". It's long, but is a real eye-opener on the connection!

  • I was watching this again, and I noticed that he walks like Colin does, sort of like in a jerky way.. Does this go away? Colin is so clumsy. He is like me... :o)

  • My son definitely got better over time.

  • I watched another vid of yours on here, he looks amazing. I am soooo happy to see good news on here. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

  • I agree with the previous commenter. His autism does seem very mild and I cant see major stimming either. I am very surprised he was diagnosed towards the moderate section ( I teach children in that range that just squeak!). He seems very social(rare) and has great eye contact too, again something I dont see very often in my work.

  • This video was a year before he was dx. He kept getting worse and worse. He had about 10 words- yes, no, up, down, 1, 2, 3, etc. This video shows him playing a lot- he could engage better if you played with him.

  • Well, I'm going to get her on Omega 3 or 6, she has no gut issues, so I wondered if the GFCF diet would benefit her. She's in speech therapy now and I'm not sure how I feel about it so far.

  • I'd love to see more. My daughter is 2 and speech delayed. She doesn't have many autistic traits, but she does favour the "da da da" sound. Lately though, she's becoming more social and saying more words.

  • It's also nice to hear that not everyone does ABA and they still get amazing results. I feel like ABA is so forced, but what do I know.

  • I'm sure you know a lot more than you think. ABA is helpful, but I think kids can't work if they are all "zoned out". I saw my son pay attention better after taking gluten/casein/soy out of his diet. And then adding things like fish oil, MB12, etc. all helped him. What have you tried?

  • Oh he does seem mild! He likes to be cuddled and tickled, even his stims aren't major stims to me. I love seeing how well the kids are after a few years. It's so inspiring.

  • I'll have to post some video between 2-5 years old. He stimmed all the time. He used to rub his face on the floor, lined up cars, stared at ceiling fans for hours.... etc.

  • His autism seems very mild. What kind of intervention did he have? He's so adorable!

  • He was dx with mild to moderate Autism (not pdd-nos). He got a lot worse after 2 years old. He wasn't potty trained until 6 1/2 yrs old. At 5 yrs old he spoke about 20-30 words. We did a lot of biomedical interventions (diet, supplements, chelation) and the school is great. He's 7 1/2 now-- check out the other videos.

  • btw- thanksk for calling him "very mild"

It's music to my ears :)

  • my son says "dooba, dooba, dooba, dooba..." In fact, he heard this video, and just started to do it. He was diagnosed at 27 months.

  • OMG- really? Is that bad? Does he have any speech? Did you see the recent footage of my son?

  • he has a few words, they are not in relation to anything.. He does say "food" when he is eating and when he sees people eating.

  • my daughter had the same verbal stim at that age, dooga-dooga-dooga she was dx at 17 months.

    he is adorable btw!
