I heard Phil Collins when I was younger, on the radio, or even saw him on MTV, but it was not until I read American Psycho (where the main character has a thing for Genesis) that I started to really listen to the songs. Backside is that now, when ever I listen to Genesis and Phil Collins, I remember that book. :P

His name is Daryl Stuermer or something like that. My spelling might play triks on me, and he played in Genesis with Phil Collins. For my knoledge, Genesis never stoped to exist. They had a world tour a few years ago, and they perform ocasionaly, when they have time of course :D Please correct me if I'm wrong I don't mind, actually I'll be glad

This is how this song is meant to sound. On the original album recording, it's too stiff and synth-y; when Phil plays it nowadays he loads on tons of crappy horns. This is the song at its absolute best: non-reverbed drums and electric guitar doing the little fills in the chorus. It gives the song so much more energy. Having horns do that part is terrible.
