@WarEagleAuburn89 drawing someone offsides doesn't nearly end someones career now does it? Didn't think so. It's actually called a strategy. Besides you shouldn't have even had a problem like that from Clemson...
@BamaDillon you probably didn't even watch the game. and if you did, then you are just flat wrong. Clemson tried to cheat by drawing us offsides with an illegal double snap. Good for us the refs caught them, and made em pay cause they missed the second kick.
Auburn is the most classless football program I've ever seen play. Every year you hear an excuse of why they chop block. "every one does it" " he is a freshman" its pathetic. IF YOU PLAY FOOTBALL FOR AUBURN OR PLAN ON GOING IN THE FUTURE YOU ARE A CHOP BLOCK COWARD! Rot in hell Awbarn!
you sound like an alabama fan, and everyone has chop blocked some time or another, i watch all of the auburn games, and they are not a common thing, the last one i can think of is the one on glen dorsey against lsu in 2007
@PooPoo2U unfortunately for ignorant jackasses like you, that is in all sports. I was referring to football. Auburn has only been on probation twice in its football history. That was in the late 50's and early 90's. Bama's football program has cheated more than Auburn's football program. Its hard to ague with fact isn't it you redneck piece of shit.
@WarEagleAuburn89: That's simply because I'm not arguing with fact, I'm arguing with a half-truth.
You're like one of those idiots who say "Oh, we came back from a 24-0 Bama lead!" without trying to draw much attention to the question "Why was the #2 ranked Auburn down 24 points to the 2-loss Alabama team anyway?"
I'm guessing the 89 must be the year you were born, only a 21 year old could muster such immature ignorance.
40 IB wins is more than 34. THAT is an entire fact.
@PooPoo2U hahahahaha, now you are just making excuses. you act like it is easy to go to a hostile stadium that seats over 100,000 fans and then beat a top 10 team. And I also was not born in 89. That was just one of my favorite players numbers. Darvin Adams. So next time you wanna say Auburn is a bunch of cheaters, even when it is not proven, then think about how your team IS CURRENTLY ON PROBATION, and has been for 16 of the last 19 football seasons.
@WarEagleAuburn89: And yet somehow you're still #3 in the country and #1 in the SEC in probations. Doing the math I think you guys are averaging a probation about, what, 1 every 6 years?
@PooPoo2U that is in all sports, not football. I only care about football. For some reason you keep feeling the need to change the subject from the original conversation. Bama football has cheated more than Auburn football. Argue with that bitch.
@PooPoo2U the only reason that ALABAMA ( not "we," you have not connection to alabama) has a better history than auburn is because of Bear Bryant. Auburn was better before the Bear Bryant era. They have been better after the bear bryant era. That cheating son of a bitch is the only reason you bammers have a better football history. Don't say he didn't cheat, he did, he just didn't get caught. All of his assistant coaches went on to coach teams that went on probation. Coincidence? I think not.
@WarEagleAuburn89: Yea, I've heard that before, and just like all the others I say one thing to you: Show me proof before you sully the good name of the greatest D1 coach in college history.
@PooPoo2U Well according to you bammers rumor is proof enough to put down Cam newton. So the same goes for that piece of shit cheater Bear Bryant. So you honestly think that all of his assistant coaches that went on to be head coaches of cheating programs was a coincidence? Bryant is the only good thing about Bama's history. Take him out of the picture and Auburn is superior in every way.
@WarEagleAuburn89: Uh, I don't know if you remember this dumbass but the NCAA concluded that his dad DID IN FACT try to solicit money from MS.
Oh, and that "Bryant is the only good thing about Bama's history." tripe? Joe Namath and Bart Starr, MVPs of the first three Super Bowls, played where?
Or how about the fact that Wallace Wade, who wasn't even our most successful coach, still won more national titles than Auburn did with ALL THEIR COACHES?
@PooPoo2U Don't flatter yourself. Everyone in the country besides UA knows that UA doesn't have 13 national titles. They claim one title in which they were ranked 22 in the final AP poll. There are several others like that. If Auburn claimed titles like UA did, they would have at least 5, because they could claim 1910, 1913, and 1914. Also, Cam's dad asking for money from a seperate school in no way makes Cam guilty. That has nothing to do with Auburn at all.
@WarEagleAuburn89: I didn't even mention Newton's pompous ass. You know you don't have a point and you're setting up a straw man argument.
All opinions aside, Alabama performs better at football. It's a fact. There's nothing you can say or do that changes it because it's fact. Therefor, Alabama football is better than Auburn football.
@PooPoo2U You just did mention Newton dumbass. You implied that AU and Cam were guilty by saying his father solicited money from MSU. Well that has nothing to do with either Cam or AU. Also, I never said AU was better than bama, I said bear bryant's cheating ass was the only reason bama is better. Auburn's history was better before bear, and is better since bear's ear ended.
@PooPoo2U For one, quit saying "we." You have nothing to do with Alabama or thier football team. And once again, I never said AU had the better history. I said if it weren't for bear bryant, than AU would have the better history, because bear is the only thing good about bama, and he had to cheat to be good. Once again, auburn was better before the bear ear, and they were better after the bear era.
Oh well, LSwho fans will have to watch AUBURN's offensive line kick the shit out of LSWho's defensive front this year at Jordan-Hare. LSWho fans are a bunch of Penis Wrinkles!
poor lil Aubie can't hang with a team missing it's two best linebackers so they have to resort to this. I hope one of their players gets seriously injured (karma ya know) from a chop block.
All Auburn fans, coaches and players are a bunch of indignant, ignorant, trashy, pussies, who try to cheat in the games they think they might lose. This video shows it, along with a few other no-calls by referees, penalties that were reversed, and so on. I was never happier in football then when Auburn went 13-0 in the SEC and didn't go to the big game. Should they have? Of course, but I'm so glad they didn't. They deserve their current place in athletic mediocrity.
That's pretty hard for fans to cheat in the games. :). You live in a dream world where people believe everyone else cheats except their fav. team. Grow up.
Well, you could say it's a "dream world," but the fact cannot be hidden that this was a well coached and well executed chop block meant to take a particular person out of the game. It was a strategy conceived by the coaches, executed by the players, and supported by the fans. That, my friend, is cheating.
LSU. You might find some footage of legal chop blocks, maybe even some borderline. However, if you find a rehearsed chop like this one, I will eat crow and admit I was too harsh on the Aubbies. Good luck, bud.
Rehearsed? Where's the proof that it was rehearsed? That is strictly speculation and it would happen alot more if it was "rehearsed". Ever since Gleen Dorsey got chop blocked you LSU fans have been crying. If it had been anyone else on the team, nothing would have been said.
If you look at the tape when the center goes low, the guard goes high and pushes Dorsey over the center and keeps pushing after the play had run away from them. It's rehearsed and the proof is in the video.
The left guard actually was supposed to block the middle linebacker. He turns back to Dorsey only because the left tackle got beat off the line. The left tackle, in desperation, dove. A chop block, but not rehearsed.
If that was the case, I would agree, but the fact is that when the guard dove, the other blocker took Dorsey high and drove hiim over the guard on the ground. He kept pushing Dorsey. It was intentional and rehearsed.
not really. LSU won the NC and Im glad. However, I did feel like shedding tears after south florida. You know what I mean. Arkansas? Anyways, are you aware that the Home team in the LSU/Auburn series has won since 1999? Just thought I would put that out there.
Both incidents were purely accidental. And to the Clemson fan who says Auburn is a trash school: You've obviously never been there to see that it is one of the best schools in the world.
Moron. Auburn has nothing on any others campus in the SEC. I have been to everyone and there are not cow pastures in the middle of those citys unlike Auburn. And as a response to your "best school" comment, I have one word for you, "Sociology"
While I won't say Auburn has one of the worst campuses in the nation, when compared to some of the other SEC schools it simply doesn't match up. Parts of the campus are terribly trashed, especially on game days, worse than any other game day atmosphere I have seen. Most of the buildings are also in need of renovation, especially the stadium. And let's face it Auburn is in the middle of nowhere when compared to other SEC campuses. The school is not terrible, but the campus sure is lacking.
No i just think your a fag, we blame that we didn't play like us and you guys just out played us. No one has said that is why we lost, scott came back anyways, were just saying your school is trash.
Auburn doesn't have to resort to that. This game was not about winning. Clemson could't hang many points on our defense and it was a trial run for a new offense.
Mistakes happened all night, and that included the play of the line. I think those who want to call this type of stuff intentional are full of shit.
But after what happened to Glenn Dorsey, and what happened here, I hope I never see this again from my alma mater.
why dont you and aubie587 get a room together since you're both asking men to suck your dicks here? You might even be like real alabama people and be brothers who "like each other"
On this one, Auburn installed an entirely new offense in 9 practices. The coaches said that there were many mistakes happening; many times plays weren't run correctly, and players lined up in the wrong spot. This was another mistake where a lineman (also a true freshman) blew the blocking scheme.
I am not excusing the fact that the chop block has happened twice, I am merely saying that people need to get off of Auburn's back for teaching it and calling them a bunch of trash.
who gives a damn if he is a freshman? he has obviously played football in high school, and it is not allowed there either. he knows what to do, so using his age is not an excuse. plus, he delibritely went for his legs. its obviously
You obviously didn't read my post, and if you did, you didn't understand it. According to you, freshmen don't make mistakes. All players at big time schools played football before, but the term "freshman mistake" is used very often. In the NFL the term "rookie mistake" is also used frequently. Remember that it is legal to chop block if the defender is not engaged. If you watch the chop block on Dorsey you will see that the entire line chop blocks on that play except for one of the three true freshman on the line. He blew the call; it was not intentional, that was already made known.
