  • I ride everything in the park and need something with less swing weight, sometimes I like to hall ass down a black or do some glades tho. Should I get a parkstar or a www

  • Holy shit, the 2nd board he pulls out is exactly like mine!

  • I bought a K2 Fast plant 154!!!

so good, did me everyday for 5 months, 80% flat, 20% rocker

  • what should i buy k2 fastplant or slayblade i want a good all around board with still alot of flex

  • I like that version of the slayblade much better then the rest of them. But wherever i look i cant find that version

  • whats the flex rating on the fastplant?

  • what is the difference between the fastplant and the parkstar except for the core???

  • is the k2 fastplant good for park and just to ride in any kind of snow.

  • @sportz2011 The fast plant if a really fun well rounded board that can easily handle anything the mountain can throw at you.

  • Where does the 2011 K2 Believer fit into all these boards?

  • @tsefreeflow its softer than the Slayblade and is more of a All terrain Freestyle sort of board that is still fun in the park.

  • where's the darkstar? :(

  • @monkeyboyyyyy we didn't carry it this year and check out next years line, they renamed it b/c it it was confusing with the Parkstar...

  • @PortersLars what did they rename it?

  • what size board should i ride for park.? im 5'9 and 125lbs

  • @pray4snowproductions what size boot are you rocking?

  • @PortersLars 10-10.5

  • where was tim eddy riding?

  • @HugTheHobos at ASI which is a local Tahoe Backcountry spot

  • Hey.

I'm having a hard time choosing

    0 vs Slayblade.

    Recommendations? :]

  • @BeethovenJay I personally love the slayblad, its my do it all Squaw Valley ruler!

  • which board is beater k2 slayblade or k2 parkstar?

    really need help.

  • @killer71000 that depends on what you need the board for, the Slayblade is a do it all ruler and the Parkstar is a great park board. The Parkstar is a bit softer and more forgiving while the Slayblade is stiffer and a better board to drive through turns.

  • Im Looking into a new board the end of this season. I want a park/freestly board. Any recomendations?

  • @lllMrGrimlll you cannot go wrong with a Parkstar or a Darkstar both boards rip in the park but are just as fun outside the park. The Darkstar is flat and the Parkstar is reverse camber.

  • @1115eCal thats my board of choice and I ride it for everything I do including park, its great on jumps and butters great. Be prepared for on of the best all around boards out there!

  • Hey guys, i'm 5'9" and planning to get a 156 K2 Raygun, having a 10 to 10.5 foot I can't decide whether or not I should go with the 156 Wide one or the normal one ? Also weighing around 172 lbs

Hope anyone can help me out, thanks!

  • @TehThomaz I would go the wide route, the normal non wide is surprisingly narrow and the wide will fit your feet just fine.

  • @PortersLars Is there a differnce in feel or stability between both (In my head it says wider = less agile) Thanks for the super quick answer! Definitly will be getting the 156W then =)

  • how much, on average, does the Turbo Dream cost in Canada?

  • @Dinglot68 like 640

  • so the turbo dream would be okay for not just natural jibbing but even some park? I don't ride the park too much but i'd rather have one board than a pow board and a stiff park board

  • i like the slayblade would that be good for everything?

  • k2 ftw

  • Smoking some K2 while Riding K2.

  • I am 6'2", 210lbs. I want to get a Parkstar. My boot is a 12.5, you think I could go as small as the 157Wide, or should I go for the 160W? It would primarily be a park board, but also looking for something I can take all over the mountain when my friends get bored of the park.

  • @marinsmostwanted if you wanted more stability I would go with the 160W, the 157 would be a good more park size to go with but might feel a little loose on the rest of the hill outside the park.

  • i'm looking at getting the k2 anagram or brigade myself can't wait to get back out on the snow

  • the 157 Wide Raygun is a great place to start from K2. Wide enough waist width and a great board for your level.

  • hey guys im 5'9 150 lbs with a size 13 boot lol im an intermediate boarder and need a little help with a board and size.

  • hey im 5 11 160lbs size 11 boot for the k2 parkstar should i go with the 154 wide or a bigger size?? thank you

  • @michaelskating I would put you towards the 154 Wide, the regular board will not have a wide enough waist width. the 154 Wide will be better for smaller jumps and all around jibbing fun, while the 157 wide will be more stable at speed and better for bigger stuff.

  • where is that park at at 3:52

  • @zwoods95 thats all Sugar Bowl here in Tahoe.

  • Does the 2010-2011 parkstar have the jibtips? If I get a 149, would it be similar to riding a 154-ish on any other brand board?

  • Hey lars, how do you like the slayblade compared to the turbo dream. The TD is one of all mountain deck I'm considering next year (along with NS heritage and Ride Highlife). What appeals the most is the price isn't as high as the other 2.

  • @skiphsf I could and should write my thoughts between the two but to sum it up I would say the Slayblade is great if you like the feeling of a more traditional board feel that can charge steeps however the Turbo dream becomes such a great quiver killer option since it can throttle pow lines and still play in the park. I rode both and they both feel similar in flex and response but I like having the nose and tail snap that the Slayblade offers over the Turbo Dream.

  • @PortersLars Hey thanks for the quick reply. I'm probably gonna end up with the TD and since I board mostly in whistler I think the rocker will help on those sick pow days =). I'm 5'5" 145lbs would you recommend the 156 or 159 for me. Haven't start going into parks yet but probably would like to learn small jumps and 1's & 3's. Mostly all mountain though.

  • @skiphsf I would steer you towards the 156 over the 159 if you want to take it to the park a bit. the 159 will allow for better flat in deeper pow days but might hinder some of the park enjoyment especially with your weight and height in mind.

  • is the slayblade also good for off piste and deep pow?

  • @666shameless ye and yes! the slayblblade was my board of choice all last season. The flatline makes working your way down steeps a breeze and unless you are riding 3 feet of Tahoe or PacNorthwest pow then it charges through pow like a dream. The Slayblade is one of the best all around board I have ever ridden!
