the only way i seen that when you can unroll the car is when its stuck in the ground or on one of its ends (front or rear) it just rotates.

There is a reason why it's like this, two actually.

First of all the model that interacts with the environment is very square, hence why it is able to stand on its side, and T10 realised is sucked pretty hard to tip over in an online race with no rewind so they made the cars flip back up when you hit the accelerator.

They could make these physics better, but the damage will not be more severe, car manufactures don't want damage that immobilises the car.

@oddgp Your comment is full of bullshit. There are two types of cars in GT5. The premium ones and the standard ones. The ratio of premium to standard is about 1/7. The standard cars look much worse than the cars in Forza 3. Whereas the premium cars look better than in Forza 3.

While I don't support it, as a company, Microsoft has ideally placed the Xbox 360 under the PS3 price range (making if more affordable) while making other things like wireless adapters, HD players, and other devices as separate accessories (which in total cost more than PS3).

Now they use these features built in to bring in the hype and increase sales once again.

Couple thoughts.

1. You can flip yourself back up again, it's just that this person is just rolling side to side to match the video response (french bulldog)

2. they added this feature so that if you flip yourself during online matches, you can get yourself back upright, except I guess they didn't take that feature out for career/arcade mode
