love my madass 125. every time i stop at a red light somebody rolls down their window and asks me what it is. i constantly find people standing next to it taking pictures or looking at it when i park it on the street... and of course i love the jealous looks from all the guys that bought a sissy vespa.
For $2700, this thing looks worthless unless it's just your niche. For $3000 - $3500 or less you can get a used Ninja 250, CBR250R, KLX250SF, DRZ400SM, WR250X (or the real dirt-bred varieties), or even some bigger bikes like an SV650... basically unless you can't spend more than $2500 or so, there's no reason to get anything less than 250cc's for American roads.
It's actually a great motor bike, I have the exact bike that this "chic" is riding in her video, she's not giving it a true review... The bike is awesome, cheap, reliable, very practical and for a 125 it's got "ZIP", well worth the $2,700.00 it cost's and yeah it's a head turner......

Let us not forget that Sachs have been making bikes and possibly more important, engines for other bikes, since 1886, they can't put a foot wrong in my mind.
Actually 60 mph is fast for a 125. Many 150 cc scooters don't go 60. I like the looks of it, but the price is a little much unless there is a good warranty and local dealer to go along with it.

If you want to watch the bike in action, this is a good video, just turn down the volume because this woman is a dink. Essentially by complaining that its kind of slow, she is inadvertently bragging about the vast experience she has riding bike, big, fast motorcycles. The madass is a badass hybrid of sorts and its really a pretty cool bike.
Where I come from, the UK, a moped is a pedal bike with a motor hence, moped. I always thought the Madass had a motor and footrests...Unless there is another Madass out there with pedals. How do these people get there jobs?
This is a LAME review. I mean review the bike for what it is...you dont review a 4 cylinder car with a 1 ltr engine and complain it only has 110hp? This lady is a lame reviewer. Anyways, no detailed specs? No info about how theres a ton of Mods available for it and also that theres almost nothing like it available in the US market. @mooseboy66 LOL thank you so much for saying this the way you said it. I work on MadAsses all day at the first shop in the United States to sell them, Moto-Scoot in Milwaukee, Wis. My co-worker definitely isnt a fan, but I love these bikes. They have great style and have one of the most unique frame designs and like you said, we offer a vast number of mods to the bike. The engines are relatively durable and extremely fuel efficient. Dont believe me? I'll let you in on a secret, the engine
@mooseboy66 design is liscensed from HONDA, who used this engine over 40 years ago in their CT70's and CT90's. Its a design that may not be crazy performance like a yamaha, but it is durable, efficient, and proven with YEARS of riding. And if you really want the most out of it, like I said we have many options to increase the horsepower and speed of a MadAss. If you want to talk to guys who live bikes, work on bikes, and actually sell bikes, talk to us.
Better off to buy the "MADASS" 49cc and the after market big bore kit as this will allow you to almost keep up with the 125cc at 50mph, still remain a scooter and get close to 90 mpg!
But, if you tune the 125cc with the right parts you can make it go well over 80mph, and have all the "Get-Up-Go" you'd ever want!
