Saw Carbon Silicon, by chance a the Cornbury Festival this year....the best band apart from 'The Love trousers'....I was surprised to see Mick Jones was in this band, as I had only just been looking at a old video of his band BIG AUDIO DYNAMITE... I just saw C/S in San Francisco, and they were absolutely terrific..just wish they'd played longer. Up until I heard about this band, I'd hoped there'd be some sort of Clash reunion (even after the Joe Strummer's tragic passing). But I'm sure there'd be the risk of some record company-backed, mega-arena tour "sponsored" by Bud Light, Pepsi or God knows who. No thanks! Mick's taken just enough of that classic Clash signature sound and applied it to new and compelling music. Live long, C/S!!!
