Wow..... that guitar sounds vintage already ! I dig the attack.... bright without being harsh, and a full tone w/o being overly bass-y ! Crisp, indeed.
Nice performance, but a couple of the syncopations are so drastic it feels like you lost the rhythm like at 22 seconds and 44 seconds (which is scary because 44 is double 22).
I really like your stand up technique as well. I might attempt to use suction cups to make buttons like that on my guitar.
@DanielGillismusic Thanks for your compliments, as well as your criticisms. The best of luck in experimenting with playing standing. I tried suction cups, but they tended to let go at just the wrong moment. Also, watch out for the clear plastic cups available at many hardware stores. They have a chemical reaction to some lacquer guitar finishes, and will leave a mark.
Thank you for your compliments. I use a harness over my shoulders, much like a backpack in reverse, with 2 clips that hook onto buttons mounted on the guitar. This arrangement holds the guitar very securely. I make my own instruments, so I mount the buttons as part of the construction.
Very good performance!
