If you move your pivot foot before the ball leaves your hand, it's a travel. If you catch the ball with two feet, you can use EITHER foot as the pivot. So if you ball fake and he bites, you can pick either foot to lift first before you release the ball.

until you guys can tell the difference between FIBA and the NBA on dribbling and travel call, you best be quiet on saying whether it is a travel of not.

the main difference is WHEN the travel is called. FIBA calls when the pivot foot is LIFTED before the dribble, whereas the NBA calls it if the pivot foot LANDS before the dribble.

from 00:55, according to FIBA, if the left is his pivot, it's a travel. In the NBA, it's not a travel as the left foot lands AFTER the dribble.

not a travel, the ball is on its way down when he lifts his foot, even if you watch carefully it is a travel, because he changes pivot foot at 0:16 and drags the pivot foot, but it won't get picked up by a ref because its so fast, in the video it would be slightly slower. Plus whats with everyone going on basketball videos accusing professionals of traveling, maybe they should talk to professional referees and see if they give a crap.
