  • Flood was here

  • interesting little story but, post ops can't father children; no paradox?

  • He told that whole story just so he could tell that joke at the end.

  • wait, this is a creepypasta.

  • This was incredibly stupid. He was just throwing so much shit together to make an extremely complicated story and call it a "paradox."

  • Now this is a class I like.

  • in my country ( don wanna mention the name ) %50 of the people believe that the earth is not round. they believe its flat and its on the top of HUGE cows and fishes. when ever the " cows" and "fishes" shake their heads earthquaks occure. no jokes. how sad is that !

  • thumbs up if u really wanted to see what he was going to talk about after the video was over :D

  • what a great mind fuckin story.

  • This story gets me every time. Having no mother and no father and no origin. It's really sad.

  • He's read hell a lot of fiction stories during his child hood. He is not as smart as he thinks he is.. He usually likes to talk about things that dont exist..

  • @MrYasa7 and ur just plain stupid watch?v=tnRlIi_1xzc&feature=channel_video_title

  • @MrYasa7 Dude, read his book on Quantum Field Theory. He's pretty damn smart.

  • When you try to piece together this story, Jane/Jim is simply a bootstrap paradox, meaning that he/she (as in genes) has no origin. He is his own mother, father, lover, son, daughter, kidnapper and employer.

  • @utubesuperstation well in his defence michio kaku is like 60.... he kinda has a head start on us people on youtube give me 50 years more and see what i can do

  • all of you haters out there. before you say something mean about michio kaku, ask yourself this one question: How many family trees do you have under yourselves?

  • he must have failed biology

  • @MrJudas666666

Yea the inbreeding would be quite prolific but have no fruition to even start it off in that tale in his hyperspace book he the story is told better but it’s about the same. You only had to have sex once so the tale is only a interesting idea couldn't be real.

  • Isn't that just an extreme version of what cane first?? The chicken or the egg.

  • gay -simplistic

  • MIIIIIINNNNNDDDDD FUCCCCKKKKK

  • @DhDo74 haha srsly

  • 100%

  • i loved all hi zombies

  • LOL he is just like a stand up comedian :)

  • @utubesuperstation oh, sorry- i missread wot u wrote,,

  • @utubesuperstation he is has written 2 bestseller books, that i know of.

  • OMG he was in stony brook??!! i go to that classroom 3 times a week!!

  • this is some intense stuff, mind bogging but neat!

  • does that say 'alien's looking glass' on the board?

  • are there any more videos like this??? i feel like i'm sitting in his class right now!!!!! : D

  • Comment removed

  • I wasn't sure how Jane became Jim.

  • She had a stickadickttome!

  • @ConsideratePerson During the delivery, the doctors found out that Jane was a hermaphrodite, and because of complication they had to turn her into Jim. That's what I read. He missed some parts of the story actually.

  • genius this is one of the small group scientists that are cool :D

  • lol i love this guy lol.

  • lol the longest joke ever

  • @k6996 yet funny....and educational! :P

  • Also if we change his gender while back in time then he wouldn't have to be such a homo. & then he could have babies with himself in the future & break his own heart.

    Thank you theoretical physics!

  • i lost it when jane turned into jim..

  • how well i wish, he will be my lecturer..... all over now... i am already a lecturer myself

  • @Lamiis can you tell the story as good as Professor kaku then you fucker? Then why all you can do is sitting and bitching at home watching youtube?

  • Don't let Dr Futura Kaku see that comment Lamiis, or he'll destroy you with his Star-fuelled particle cannon.

  • this story is scary

  • thumbs up, youtube. you let me sit in on college courses i'd never be able to afford in all of my life.

  • sad but true

  • wooooow

reminds me of futurama, of the chapter when Fry becomes his own grand-father....except this one is a little more complicated

  • Mr. Kaku is so intelligent. :)

  • that story was incredible hard to follow, it took me several viewings to comprehend it.

  • @MafferDragonhandEyed took me one time..

  • This was very interesting!

  • Intersex conditions are not that rare - about 1.7% of the population are technically IS, though only about 0.1% have severe symptoms.

Jane/Jim's condition happens in the order of 1 in 1 million, but fertility is usually compromised.

Much more common are the 5ARD and 17BHDD conditions which can cause a baby who looks female at birth to masculine later in life, and some of these can father children (but *not* give birth).

  • we must watch him sirs..he's unproven..I'm a believer in watching your fellow man on video..spy on them..they're always up to no good sirs..

  • same with me

  • I wish I could go take a class with him! I would love a teacher like that, Michio Kaku is my hero T_T

  • Yea you bet, he is my hero as well, but alas i have to take a branch of science different from the one that fascinates me so and crap i'm not doing so good...=_= but my time shall yet come ...

  • really true i thought that when i was young

  • What can one say, hes brilliant!

  • cool story

  • so he said women can grow balls?

  • No!

    He's saying women ARE balls!

  • really women are balls. is that good or bad for women. lol. we are robots or in a matrix . I think he said that when he quotes einstein. quote read the mind of god. if a god made us then this is matrix . or am i crazy ???

  • No! you're not crazy man. Einstein also said that when you read the mind of god, to RUN to the first woman you see and attempt to stuff balls in her...the more the better.

andwe are in a matrix...A BALLS MATRIX!

  • a matrix of balls? lol

  • he probably just forgot to credit the stories, he credits alot of his other stories to other physicists.

  • hey, hes human, we all make mistakes

  • i had the exact same question and reason that i doubted time travel. how can u go back and visit yourself for example , or change the past if it's already done in another way. it's all complicated

  • Awsome

  • is this one of his classes and if soo how do u get into his class

  • it is a dark and stormy night..lol!!

  • 4:14 "lazarus long?" lol

  • wait... was he really here at stony brook? i go to stony brook and no one told me about him visiting...

is he going to visit again? OMG i can't believe i missed this T_T!!!

  • Haha oh man this guy is the best :]

  • He credits Heinlen in the book that I assume this lecture is about, i've just begun reading it and its great but its slightly making my brain hurt:D I would recommend it to anyone, Parallel Worlds, its fascinating!

  • Dr. Kaku never fails to amuse. great story !

  • O.o That's to funny, problem is the person seems like an idiot and can't put it together. Either that or they just like screwing around with someone that looks almost identical to them.

  • yo wheres the rest of this?

  • in the past

  • Excellent! I live in Philly and went to his lecture in the Franklin Institute. Brillaint Man! Thank you.

  • i believe that he or she is a root rather than a tree
