Sorry but when you're comparing a Lacrosse with an ES, the least you can do is show the Lacrosse with the projector lights. Surely you know how to market products properly right? You don't shown an ES with projectors compared to a version of the Lacrosse without them. It's stupid.
@DroidNoid You've been flagged as spam because you have literally no idea what you're talking about... That's a dealer problem, not a GM problem. Go find another dealer man. Jesus...
If you know nothing about this Buick how can you possibly tell if it's a Lexus killer or not? Take a step back for a second and really look at the options you have instead of buying whats popular. Look what happened with Toyota. Cars racing out of control and Americans still buy them, because they are reliable? They haven't proved that to me, not at all.
i've never seen one of these on the roads here where i live.. and WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH ALL CAPS? ARE YOU SCREAMMING OR SOMETHING??? TURN THE CAP LOCK OFF.. CAN YOU NOT FIND IT? OH YEH.. YOU MUST HAVE LOW EDUCATION... OMG LOOOOOL.. ITS NOT A KILLER =) BUT A NICE TRY..
@lexusES350h WELL THIS BUICK IS KILLING THE LEXUS RIGHT KNOW AND IT LOOKS BETTER IN EVERY ASPECT AND IS SELLING VERY WELL IT'S STATS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.
I wish the production LaCross looked more like the one seen at the 2008 auto show. I don't know why they watered it down. The concept WOULD'VE been a Lexus killer.
I know Toyota makes higher quality cars then GM. But the fact is that I live in the U.S. Buying a GM branded car would profit the economy better then buying a Toyota branded vehicle.
I could care less if my car was constructed by a group of Mexican engineers. Company's are careful with their products. If a product suffers severely, then in many cases it will lead to law suits.
Buying from GM on the basis of supporting our economy is just plain stupid. Why? Because GM outsources most of their operation anyways, so money is still leaving our country.
Buying an American car does not profit our entire economy, but only profits GM and their associates. Don't be fooled by those saying that buying American will help, because those people who say that are also the ones who have and continue to buy TVs, food, appliances, computers etc. from other countries.
@lexluthor400 please, don't be stupid. look up how many people GM employed in this country, and compare it to any foreign automaker. People like you bringing up the fact that there's a plant in Mexico (because GM was forced to run away from the cannibalistic unions) already have an agenda. Who cares where the car is assembled? Look at where DEVELOPED, and to which country the cash flows. As far as quality goes, look at recent surveys. Ford and some GM models surpassed Toyota, others not far
Look at where they are developed? Alright I take Japan please! GM's engineers are for the most part American. Therefore their engineers are products of our failing educational system and I would be willing to bet that they are not better than Japanese engineers. Japan has an exceptional education system especially in math. That is just what they do.
Not that American engineers are bad, its just the Japanese make more of an effort to reach perfection.
Here in America everything produced here (especially cars) has a certain emphasis placed on it. Usually and unfortunately the emphasis is "quick and cheap". That is what we are as a nation now, everything is quick and cheap. Look at our roads, our American made cars, our utility infrastructure, it all is built cheaply and quickly with little concern for the future. However in reality all this ends up costing us more in the future and we begin to fall apart, just like GM and their business plan.
As far as your "buy GM to support America" argument goes; I bet you and every one else screaming that has not the slightest idea about America's economy.
1. Ford, GM, and Chrysler combined only make up 4% of our nation's GDP.
2. Those 3 are moving production, assembly, and design OUTSIDE the nation.
So please explain HOW buying any of those is going to help?
Toyota is bringing jobs here more & more everyday, they are not government owned and can build a decent product, so you decide, I go Yota
Would you rather have a watch that was assembled by a Swiss craftsman or a one from a Chinese sweat shop?
When GM goes 15 CONSECUTIVE years as the most reliable make, like Lexus did; MAYBE I will give them some respect. This years results (JD pwr) are misleading too. Lexus still won in every segment they compete in, so Buick is not the BEST, they just had fewer segments to compete in, and therefore less problems to deal with overall.
bad analogy. A car's quality depends ALOT on materials, parts, suppliers, VERY LITTLE on the assembly line. If you mean $ differences, then we are comparing a Lexus which was made entirely overseas, and Buick of comparable quality which was done here. Two cars, neither of which you will drive into the ground anyway, so the diff is pretty much nonexistent. The only difference is whether you wire $30,000 to Tokyo, or to Michigan - part of which could be used to fix our "failing educational system"
If you think that assembly has little to do with final quality then you are an idiot. Either way, Lexus uses very quality products in their cars, trust me I own one, nothing feels cheap at all; even after 11 years NOTHING rattles or squeaks and it feels very solid. Even IF Buick used quality materials, they are still assembled by some slob union worker who cares more about making his $80 an hour rather than how well he assembles your car. You can't deny that!
Trust me, any money that Detroit makes in the future IS NOT going to go to fix our failing educational system.
I find it funny how you worry about sending money to Japan, but yet you buy many everyday products from China (including GM parts) and you are perfectly happy with that, but when someone buys a Toyota all of the sudden its a no no?
Go fuck yourself, wake up and stop being a blind loyalist to a company that has taken your money because of its failure to maintain a decent business!
hahah go fuck myself? YEAh, nice. Anyway, im done arguing with someone who thinks he knows everything. I'm actually in the industry (no, i've never worked for GM) but I've been to American, Italian, and Japanese assembly plants. Ford's was the most impressive to me... but anyway, i also know superiority complex assholes who think they are some higher life form and look in disdain at a cabbie (or an assembly line worker), but tend to be some of the most rotten, unpatriotic, people at heart.
No, you are done arguing because you know I am right.
I don't look down on anyone, because everyone has to start somewhere and if they choose to stay there that is their choice and I could careless and show no condescension towards that. So you wrong again! (no surprise there)
IIf you want to support a company that has been plagued by bad unions, one that is government owned, one that has taken your money and then has the audacity to sell you a cheap product back, GO AHEAD, but I REFUSE!!!!!!
The only thing you are right about is the fact that the quality of GM's (and the other two) was inferior in the past. Everything else you are just speaking from a prejudgement in your head spoon fed to you. What slobs in Kansas City are you talking about? You've never been to that plant, nor probably to any plant for that matter. Furthermore, what cheap product are they selling you back? They are giving you a car with more features, German engineering at a lower price.
So if a car has features its not cheap? That is exactly what is wrong with the Big 3. They think everyone wants ticky-tack features i.e blind spot sensing mirrors, music hard-drives, etc. Thats just BS!
I want a car that is well made and reliable and Toyota/Lexus do that, plus they happen to have many features.
That is the thing that sadens me the most. Here in America we built some of the most impressive military vehicles, ships, satellites, and Aircraft. Yet most of our domestic car companies cant built a decent car for shit. There has been plenty of businesses here that could come up with and make some really impressive stuff. But relying on detroit for that is a great shame.
I know im not going to convince you, but what boggles my mind is that you compare buying a foreign $1000 TV to a foreign $30,000 car. AND THEN you complain about our failing education system, and lack of money. THEN you put down the country as a whole, saying that nothing of quality is done here, ignoring that some of the best experts and products like heavy machinery, aircraft, large scale construction are US. What a fucking joke..
I don't think everything made in America is bad. But what is bad is what the general public buys. Do you buy heavy machinery, or aircraft? No, but what you do buy are things like cars or boats, and you have to be honest in that American companies see "fast & cheap" as better than "Quality & value".
You also don't seem to understand that in other countries they are just as good, if not better, at engineering and manufacturing many things. Face it, America is not the BEST at EVERYTHING.
But if I was going to complain about that, I am pretty sure the $16,600,000,000 that GM took of ours will be high on that list. Not because of the amount, but the principle of it.
In a Capitalist Republic, failing companies are left to fail, and other entrepreneurs step in to fill the void and give jobs to displaced workers. But our government decided it would be a great idea to go against this system and buy 61% of a failing company, just GREAT! ..
are you insane? Are you forgetting the assistance Japan has been giving to their automakers when times were good? - development of new technologies (grants, not loans like the money you mention), currency manipulation to maximize profits, not to mention heavy taxes on imports. If it wasnt for the US's most open market policies I know, your Lexus would've cost 40-80% more.
Are you just going to blatantly ignore that American companies also receive grants to improve technology i.e Hybrid tech?
The Japanese government and Toyota are not what is destroying GM. GM put them selves into this situation plain and simple. Quit trying to blame and point fingers, maybe our Big 3 could learn something from Toyota!
I suggest you read "The Machine That Changed the World" then you will begin to understand why GM, Ford, and Chrysler are struggling right now.
they did get help, but aside from this loan and the hybrid tech help they got last year, when was the last time they got anything from the govt? Dont ignore that they are not shielded by high taxes on imported cars like other countries!
I am not shifting blame, they have made huge mistakes, and the newcomers learned from them (like to avoid the unions). But, I do give credit where it's due, (when they come out with a quality product), and bring counterpoints which in your bitterness, you avoid.
Also, if you had said "hey, I had a bad experience in the past, and because of unproven reliability, im afraid to buy domestic just yet" I would've said "understandable, you are just a harder skeptic whose trust they will have to earn." But in arrogance you decide to show unsubstantiated ideas that foreigns are some miracle companies and domestic cars are made in Chinese sweatshops, or by slobs in Kansas City, contempt, and absolutely no idea about the car manuf. except some archaic stereotypes.
Your right I should have come right out and said "I have had MANY problems with domestic cars!" (my family has had a Jeep cherokee, a Chrysler concorde, and a chevy impala)
I have seen first hand the difference in quality and dependability.
So I'm not just making unsubstantiated claims.
Now my family owns Toyota's (mine a 98 Ls400, mom has 01 ES300, brother 96 Es300, Dad 03 Tacoma, little bro a 01 Camry) All have not had ONE single problem in the past few years unlike the previous cars!
@Ukrainatrain I give credit where credit is due! I give Toyota credit for always striving to provide quality cars that last awhile at a great value. HOWEVER, I do not give it to GM because they only make necessary changes in their company to avoid going under. GM is only making their product better for that reason, otherwise they would still be selling the crap they pumped out the last decade with all the cheap plastics, noisy mechanics, faulty electronics etc just to make a few extra bucks!
haha once again you show your ignorance to the car business. The average turnaround time for a car is about 5 years, so the new products that are out now actually began development about 5-6 years ago, when GM was NOT on the brink of demise. TM are very reliable, Im not arguing that, but dont and tell me it doesnt matter where you send your money, and that US cars are made by some slob or a sweatshop. Thats just ignorance. Lack of quality has so many factors im not going to start.. ok take care.
@Ukrainatrain Don't start with the "your sending your money overseas" BS again. When will you realize that the world has entered a global market unlike never before.
American business have been outsourcing jobs away from American's for years now, especially GM. If anything, you should complain to GM about that and tell them to give us more jobs here. Payroll usually is about 80+% of a business' expense, so paying all those Chinese and Mexican workers is not helping here either.
well, youre still highlighting the fact that GM has outsourced a fraction of their work overseas, and foreign companies brought a fraction of their work here. Despite all this, GM alone still employs VASTLY more Americans than all foreign companies put together. So don't get fooled.
UAW - I agree with you, they got progressively screwed, and thats why I support the domestics now that they have fixed many ofthese retarded contracts. I see the progress, the potential, so I take an objective view.
The guy is correct that the Unions have destroyed our educational system and the UAW have pretty much destroyed GM. Toyota has plants here and employes US citizens, I would rather support a non union company or even the Red Chinese than continue to support the unions because I think about what would be worse in the long run for our country and supporting these unions is far worse.
Our primary and secondary education (high schools) lag behind other countries due to many factors. I dislike them, but explain how unions are responsible. Our university education, besides being overpriced, does not suffer. GM has recently shed unfair UAW obligations, and has non unions plants in the South. GM alone employs astronomically more US citizens than all foreign companies combined, so youre pretty off on all counts. Your idea of increasing the trade deficit w Chinese is just assenine..
@Ukrainatrain Unions are destroying industries, like the auto industry, by demanding outrageous pay for minimal work. UAW members make like $80 an hour, FOR WHAT? By doing this companies like GM are forced to reallocate profits towards pensions and salaries rather than R&D on new tech. Then GM is forced to use cheaper materials etc. This is also how quality suffers because the bottom line profit becomes the target and not quality.
Can you see the vicious cycle that this turns into?
BTW, just thought id let you know, the La Crosse is assembled in Kansas City, not a Chinese sweatshop, and if you ask me, I think its much better proportioned and sexier than the desperate housewife's ES.
Assembled in Kansas City by some slob of a union worker, who in all honesty could careless about how well of a job he does, because he just wants his ridiculous $80 an hour that he gets from GM.
I will take my 98 LS400 which was mostly hand assembled in Tahara Japan by someone who actually cares about his work and takes great pride in working for his company. That is what Toyota promotes, not some union that destroys the Company/Employee relationship with crazy demands like $80 an hour pay!!!!
As for looks, I personally don't think either the Lexus ES or the Buick look good, I like the LX570, IS350/F, LF-A, and the LS400/460. But looks are subjective and have nothing to do with how good a car is, so don't go there.
If you think a car is sexy then you have problems, especially this bloated plastic looking Buick!
Guess what? The best cars ARE winning and its not any GM products.
Go ahead and support a company that many claim to be "American", yet because of their ignorance and blind loyalty; they cannot see that a company which is 61% government owned and manufactures their products in China and Mexico, is a company that can hardly be called "American".
Its no secret which auto company has a BAD reputation for the past decade, and its no secret who has the better reputation. Toyota>GM
You are retarded, and have confirmed my original thoughts about you by saying that a supercomputer is smarter than a human.
A computer can only perform functions programmed by a HUMAN. A computer is great for solving equations that are simply to complex for any human to write out and solve.
However, computers cannot problem solve like humans can. There will never be a substitute for human intelligence.
If you think computers are smarter than man, you really are dumb.
A super computer contains information implemented from multiple humans not just from one single human. No human can compete with the intelligence of a super computer.
My point was to inform you that intelligence is set by opinion.
e.g. Joe was the most intelligent man alive in the year 1010 B.C. Although he would no longer be considered intelligent in the year 2009 by most humans.
Intelligence is a matter of opinion by the beings that set the new standards.
So by your definition, that would mean your getting dumber by the day and no matter what, I will always be smarter than you!
A computer can only perform functions and equations, so it does not matter how many people program it. People, well smart people, are still the leaders when it comes to problem solving.
If you think a computer is 'smarter' than you, then why aren't computers designing and building things without ANY input from humans? They can't, they still need human engineers!
I think you are confusing knowledge with intelligence.
Anyone can obtain a wealth of knowledge, but when it comes time to apply that knowledge is where intelligence comes in.
Intelligence is based more as a measure of one's problem solving abilities. However, an education can give you an advantage in problem solving but it will never raise your IQ by much.
Look around, some people come up with genius solutions to problems, while others' solutions are not so good; thats the difference in IQ.
Buicks are for old people, young people would rather buy a lexus because it holds more value and has better rep than buick, only people i ever see in a buick are late 50+ year olds.
Yes "stemmed poor degigns and poor manufactering procesees." Good thing is that Toyota does not do any of that! lol you get a clue ignorant fool. it's pointless to talk to a person as stupid as you, I feel less smart talking to you. Good luck on your ignorant life.
For everyone just make sure you look at the public records and really research and do not belief this jackass or GM cause that what they expect you to do.
Don't get your panties in a wod because you don't like the truth. The truth is Toyota has made ALOT of mistakes and the truth is that GM still sells more vehicles in North America than Toyota does. The truth is that American trucks and SUV's are better than their Japanese competition, hence they outsell them by triple digit margins. The truth is you know all this is true, so you will stick to name calling and imaginary numbers. Edmunds and Motor Trend to name a few disagree with you.
No the truth is ALL companies will have some problems. It just part of running a worldwide business of mass production. BUT it is how they correct these problems and keep those problems out of future vehicles that determines a good company.
Since it seems like your a "numbers" guy, how do you explain Toyota taking down GM as the worlds largest automaker? Really what is your logical explanation for why the world market has made Toyota number #1 and not GM?
Why are you saying no? If you were capable of reading a sentance and retaining 10% of it then you would see that has been my point all along. Toyota was forced to fix the oil sludge problems after a class action legal battle. They did not step up at all, they fought it tooth and nail when it was clearly their fault, so your point about that making a good company is moot. GM sells more vehicle in the worlds 2 largest auto markets, China and North America. You are right the Taliban loves Toyota.
Again you point out the splinter in Toyota's eye, when there is a giant sequoia tree stuck in GM's eye; GM has had its fair share of recalls and problems. So why are you pointing out engine sludge?
Well I could see why GM might sell more cars in China, since many GM parts are designed and built there, China is like GM's second home really. But how do you explain Toyota STILL out selling GM worldwide? Who cares IF they have 2 big markets, they are still not selling
It was pointed out to show to you and your butt buddy fanboy that Toyota is far from perfect itself, in fact going strictly by the numbers Toyota has has more vehicles recalled in the past decade than anybody else, fanboys like you should really take a closer look.
Actually world 3 largest, thats your reading comprehension skills letting you down once again. Toyota sells more vehicles in the worlds smaller markets and second tier markets. I guess you could say the developed world prefers GM.
Actually if you take a close look at the recall numbers, GM has new recalls almost daily. They already had to recall the new Camaro because the battery cables rub against the starter housing and the chafing causes the wires to short out. WOW real good engineering there, seriously no one noticed that the cables were rubbing against the starter housing?
Why can't you still comprehend that Toyota is #1 and will be from here on out?
Why so much hate? Well, you're missing a comma some where in you're comment. Also, being dumb is a matter of opinion. I highly considered you keep your intelligence to yourself, because that is a matter of opinion as well.
Obviously your english composition education stopped at the 7th grade, cause you can start a sentence with what ever word you like as long as it has a subject+verb and parallel structure.
If you don't believe me go read a few books and you'll see that you are nothing but an uneducated tard who defends GM and goes around on youtube making up stories about what you do and what you own.
Jesus, just look at your first sentence "stopped at the 7th grade", incorrect. "Cause" is not a word and the list goes on. You would do well to drop the grammar argument because if you can't point out errors correctly, then you ought to keep your mouth shut.
"Cause" is a word, look it up. You would do well to stop trying to find my mistakes, since the only ones you can come up with are not even mistakes; Cause, but, stopped at the 7th grade, seriously is that all you can come up with?
Since you keep wanting to be "Mr. look at the facts" lets do that.
1. Toyota is #1
2. Toyota has been CONSISTENTLY rated higher in quality over GM.
3. Toyota has been CONSISTENTLY rated higher in reliability over GM (Lexus won 15 years straight)
While it is likely that Toyota will retain the "worlds largest auto maker" title for the second year. You might be interested to note that for the first 6 months of 2009 their worldwide lead was only by 11,000 vehicles. That is also considering that anybody would trust Toyota's numbers. You might remember when they tried to claim Toyota outsold Chevrolet, that is when including Scion, who they claimed counted but Chevrolet could not claim any other brand. They have a history of cheating.
Where do you come up with this stuff? Are you really trying to explain WHY GM is now behind Toyota, and your going to use the explanation that Toyota cheated?
What you are missing here is the bigger picture; GM is failing because they can't compete anymore. Obviously the statistics don't lie, Toyota is out selling them everywhere in the world.
Why can't you see that the one and ONLY reason why GM is still around is because of idiots like you, if it was not for the blind loyalists; GM=Nothing
It comes from these little things called sources, you should try having those before you go on the offensive based on incorrect information. Don't believe my numbers, look them up, Edmunds and MotorTrend both do a simple breakdown of the month to month numbers. You should read into things before you attack others, you just show your bias and lack of intelligence. Idiots like you really ought to try this thing called research, tell you what go check out those numbers and then come talk.
Wait what? I thought your argument was based on the fact the Toyota cheated and GM got screwed. Now, you have so called proof.
So that means you came up with the cheating excuse only to realize how weak that argument was; and then you went about finding another "source" which just happened to be a few magazines.
You know you can find sales figures on their websites. They are mandated to provide that information to us when they are a publicly traded company. So why Edmunds or MT?
GM does not outsell Toyota, GM went bankrupted and now is government owned!!! Like I said before the only reason Ford figures are high on f150s is because they sell to law enforcement all over the NATION then they turn around and say "oh look how good the f150 sells". Listen moron Im not going to waste time with you any longer, like I said go drive a Ford or GM you deserve it for being such an ignorant. These companies have a long history of lying to their customers to sell cars, you being #1.
Get a clue. General Motors still sells more cars in North America than anybody else. This is a fact not up for debate, take two minutes and search and you will see this. The F-150 is not primarily sold to law enforcement, granted the Crown Vic is but the F-150 is not it simply outsells the Tundra because it is a better product, it is more reliable, practical the list goes on. You seem to have bought allot of bullshit and you obviously don't like facts, look it up its all there.
tried to keep under wraps. At least even Toyota even though is not their fault that some morons would stack up floor mats they still came out and took care of the problem instead of trying to hide it like your so loved Ford, and GM. Which is why FOrd and GM are still in the stone age dealing with their old problems, all you have to do is look at them now fool! Where is Ford and GM now? GM takes your money to make cars and sells them back to you, but your too stupid to even realize that. Ford...
Those are not isolated problems. The oil sludge WAS Toyotas problems, poorly designed oil lines, pumps etc caused those problems, Toyota has come forth and admited that. The floor mats was due to another design element in the floor board, yet interestingly enough there is information coming forward right now that says the problem is not with the floor mat but with the vehicle itself. Where are they now? Ford is doing pretty well, they have a ways to go still but are improving. Stupid? Thats you.
My bad the word "were" would have been much better. Again, maybe you need to take a closer look at your own errors before pointing out others as if that makes you seem more intelligant.
This is how you spell intelligent, not intelligant!
Look at how fast you are to show off how stupid you are. It really is incredible how deep you can dig your own holes. I don't have to make my self feel intelligent, because I am and have a confirmed score of 126 on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) which means I am in the 6-7% percentile range.
You on the other hand can't even spell intelligent, much less be intelligent!
Funny how all you can pull is isolated problems, oil sludge, floor mats... which in the end is people errors from people dumb like you. But the problems that domestic car companies faced were DESIGN AND MECHANICAL FAILURES!!! Ford flipping people over on their explorers due to their so good "corporate axle" which they got sued big time and they tried to get out of it by saying it was the tires, right! GM, Ford, Dodge diesels OMG i can even list with this 200 character limit, which they also....
All I can pull? No there is ALOT more. Isolated, the oil sludge problem wich Toyota admited was there fault effected hundreds of thousands and will continue to effect even more. The reticulating ball failures in the trucks and SUV's effected yet again several hundred thousand vehicles. The final investigation on the Explorer ended with the tires, that was the offical cause as stated by NHTSA etc. Toyota's problems stemmed from poor degigns and poor manufactering procesees. Get a clue.
Perhaps you should take a closer look at your own previous comments as well as your little friends as your spelling and vocabulary are far from perfect.
Toyota sells more SUVs and Trucks than your POS Ford or GM dickhead, just look at south texas(which I am right now and can see for my self) this is FORD territory yet the Tundras are outnumbering Ford 3 to 1, those Tundras are selling like hot cakes while your Ford are collecting bird crap at dealers!!! Come with actual facts dont just come here with your BS and expect people to be stupid enough like you to belief you.
Im sorry but seeing vehicles at the local Wal-Mart does not qualify as data. The F-150 outsells the Tundra buy huge margins as does the Silverado etc. These are indisputable facts. Funny you would call anybody stupid when claiming the Tundra outsells the F-150. They sell as many F-150 in 3 months as they do Tundras in a year, nationwide.
Hell we will take a look at a single month. February 2008, Ford sold 52,538 F-150's. Toyota sold 14,400 Tundras. There has been no massive reversal. Toyota this Feb sold less than 6,000 Tundra's. The Market doesn't lie.
It is incredible the amount of false information you type, to an ignorant like you I say... go drive a gm or ford or even chrysler you deserve it. Listen moron Toyota did not claim the corolla was the best selling car in the clunkers program THE GOVERNMENT DID maybe if you would crawl out of the rock you live in you would read some news. To say Toyota does not outsell Ford is complete idiocy moron. This third quarter Ford barely made 1bill dollars while Toyota made $44 BILL!!!!!!!!
I never said Toyota did not outsell Ford. I said GM outsold Toyota, read for understanding next time. The Government never released any data of its own pertaining to the type of vehicles or popularity of said vehicles. Drop the insults you are just making yourself appear dumber than you already have by failing to comprehend what I wrote. Not one thing I have said Is false.
Surely any Toyota Fanboy has to admit that which Toyota itself has already admited. The MASSIVE recalls and problems with the Oil sludge problem dating back to the late 90's. Toyota vehicles of all kinds and some Lexus' models also suffered from that problem. Proof positive Toyota makes mistakes too. Or the reticulating ball failures in the Tundra's, Tacoma's and Sequia's. Or the most recent recall concerneing sticking accelerators not due to floor mats lol.
dont know what you guys are arguing about.. toyota and nissan have more factories in american than they do in their own country.. so its still american made
...once again due to the incompetence in this country from people like you, the Yen is almost the same value as the dollar, and this company relies on cheap yen to make big dollars morons, Toyota is by no way selling less vehicles, or did you forget what was the best sold car with obamas clunker deal... since your ignorants i'll tell you it was the COROLLA!!! Toyota is the best selling cars in the world because they make the best cars and apparently also means that your kind is disappearing.
Dont get so worked up, quit acting like a little kid with the name calling etc. You are simply demostrating your childishness and lack of intelligance. If you want to discuss things then fine but holding up your side of the argument as if it is gosspil when everything you are saying is argumentative at best is showing off your ignorance. Also there is no clear winner in the cash for clunkers deal as no real world numbers can prove either way.
Toyota claimed that the Corrolla was the best selling car under the program. The US government itself never released any figures. Depending on who you trust the numbers are different. Edmunds who is ane extremely highly regarded group gave the Corolla the number 9 sport behind the Focus at number 2. The F-150 and Silverado were also extremely popular. Toyota is in every way selling fewer vehicles than it did, everybody is and Toyota is in every way still selling fewer than GM in North America.
You want to talk SUVs morons take a look at your big 3 SUVs and notice the axel width, even some of their cars, they make a wide SUV and put a narrow axel under it, how stupid is that, no wonder this cars have problems staying upright, example.. Ford explorer, then take a look at the Toyota SUVs. Listen morons these people did not go bankrupted because they made reliable cars idiots, and by the way Toyota is not going thru anything, the only problem Toyota is facing is.....
I don't know where you are getting your information. The current Explorer uses what is knows as a Ford Corporate axle, its dimension in every way exceed those used on the Toyota 4Runner its main competition. There are many formulas that go into the proper axle usage in a vehicle like that, everybody regarless of manufacterer used these table etc. Toyota is going through its worst financial crisis in history, it may not be in danger of bankruptcy but it is not a healthy company by an means.
Japanese copying American cars??? Never! The Japanese started out making small economic cars. And now they make any type of car better than GM, Ford, or Chrysler. Their SUVs are nothing like American SUVs. For one they are more practical, the American way is to make an oversize SUV with the biggest engine possible to full the minds of fools like bamfor07 and tenmpf150, japanese motors have more power in a smaller package than your POS GM...
Easy chief, you are 100% incorrect. Toyota began production of vehicles like the Tundra and Sequia with the stated intention of competeing with the American manufacterers. Simple as that, those vehicles are built using the same formula as their competition, body on frame construction etc. They have never suceeded in garnering anywhere near the market share they were hoped to. They are inferior products and the market highlights this.
Lexluthor400... I could not agree with you more my friend, it is amazing how ignorant this people are. They pull false facts out their asses but the sad truth is that they actually belief it themselves. That guy talking about the Toyota warranty makes no sense, talking about oil recommendation, for one the oil companies are the ones that recommend when to change their oils, changing oil does not depend on the car you ignorant morons, or what GM cars do not get hot? losers.
Did you know that GM philosophy back when they started was to make cheap cars that would fall apart in a few years so people would have to buy parts or buy another car. Yeah and then they wonder how they got to where they're at. Oh by the way, their philosophy... hasn't changed. With honestly, may the best car win. Do not forget that GM is government owned, if they lied before I wonder now that politics are involved.
...whole line. Sludge problems can happen on ANY car and that is because sludge problem is not a car problem is a moron like you problem that does not know how to buy synthetic oil which will NEVER sludge. Trying to save a few cents on cars will normally get you a big repair bill.
Toyota admitted fault on the oil sludge problem. Funny how the competition who used similar oil etc and sold vehicles to similar people did not have these problems. Toyota admitted to the problems that caused these sludge problems that often led to engines siezing up etc, they ranged from poorly fitting oil lines to poorly designed and insufficently sized oil lines to pump failures and a myriad of other things. It wasn't peoples fault it was Toyota's hence Toyota offered the repairs.
The only way the big three ever made money was buy fooling the fools out there with all their false and misleading advertisements. And this is the only way they will ever make money since there will always be fools out there like "etbarden". You don't just go bankrupted and by miracle you start making cars like Toyota, what kind of BS are they trying to pull??... the same BS they've been pulling for over 30 years. I'm glad it blew up in their face!!
The acuras have without a doubt the most unbeatable interior. The TL and new ZDX is out of this fucking planted with insanity. Metallic trim, crazy streaks. And welcoming architecture makes the most interesting luxury branch out of the bunch
another comparison commercial..ahah...why don't the "big 3" ever try to be in the front with their standards?..because just like this car, they all just try to catch up to VW,BMW,TOYOTA,HONDA..etc...this car looks just like the lexus ls.just another copycat design they can't think of.
I'm sorry, but Lexus has done their homework. Not only are their cars attractive, but extremely reliable. Last GM in this household was a Pontiac G6 - what a joke of a car that was
For GM it is all about the bottom(profits) the Asians where working on new technologies autos... if GM wants to front Toyota... they must focus on new technologies for autos, GM must change the game, if GM is unable to do this it is GAME OVER for GM
I drove one of these...its definitely a lot better than the old Buick (before they started imitating lexus), but it still doesn't match up to the Lexus quality, especially a few years down the road.
My Lexus ES350 has 121000 miles and it still runs extremely smooth like a charm. I had a paint job done, and routine maintenance that's about it.
Let's see where this Buick will be a few years from date of purchase.
Yeah but how many plastic pieces are rattling inside your car?
My 98 Ls400 has 147,000 miles on it and it still has NOT ONE rattle or squeak inside or out. The engine still runs smooth enough to balance a coin on top and rev.
Thats is quality, not some buick with 108,000 miles. Every car should go 100,000+ miles, that should not be amazing, but somehow it is to most American made car owners.
There are many Lexi out there that have well over 500,000 miles with the original engine look it up!
Yeah, you people are idiots. And we wonder why America is killing itself. We should exterminate you idiots at birth. Why open your mouths about subjects that you really know absolutely nothing about. GM isn't in trouble for making "pos cars", there are many factors that led to GM's troubles. For one GM's workers are the best compensated in the entire world, and their retirees have some of the best pension benefits of any company in the world.
Retirees are now outliving their pensions by 10-15 years, and the UAW is responsible for workers costing GM $72 per hour with wages and benefits. I have owned 2 Lexus cars and trust me there is nothing particularly fantastic about a Lexus, they have relatively poor engine reliability with engine sludge issues and MAF sensor issues. Transmissions are also a problem for Lexus, with many reports of erratic operation to just plain failure.
relatively poor engine reliability? Okay you have just lost whatever credibility you had!
The engine sludge recall was one engine, and it is not just a Lexus problem. GM has had MANY more recalls on engine related parts.
My 98 LS400 has gone 146,000 miles with not one problem and it still runs strong, and the transmission is fine too.
I find it funny how people like you say Lexus is unreliable, when for the past 15 CONSECUTIVE years they were rated the best. What does that say about GM?
Why do you support a company that is 61% owned by the government?
That is not the American way, is it?
I am American and I buy the best product at the best price from the best company, and Toyota does have all that. If anything I am the American and you are the uneducated ignorant ass who makes himself look stupid, by saying that buying a Japanese made car is un-patriotic, while at the same time you support government run business in the US.
Nobody said that Lexus was unreliable, I just meant that they have their problems too, and drastic problems at that. They offered an 8 year, unlimited mileage warranty replacement of the entire engine. That has to say something.
Dont even consider saying that GM is in the #1 reliability spot with Buick, because if you look at the study (JD Power) you will still see that Lexus won outright in every segment which they compete in, yes all ten!
If they could sell decent cars, all the other stuff would not matter! They could pay well like they do, they could give good benefits like they do, they could; but only if they sell cars! DUH!
GM is not an innovator, but rather they are only a company that rides the fad waves. First it was muscle, then safety, then it was massive SUVs, and now it is MPGs. Toyota has always made quality, safe, reliable, efficient cars. So they have no need to chase like GM is now doing to Toyota!
Your right!! actually an idiot that tells the truth without thinking, GM did not go down just because they made POS cars, it was like you said... bad management, selling very little cars and paying all the executives a lot of money, yeah real smart. GM paying mexicans a lot of money?? I don't think so.
Lexus sludge problems, transmission problems, MAF sensor issues?? are you that dumb. Lexus motors/transmissions are identical to the one on Toyota cars so the problem would have been across the..
Yes your right, Lexus has had no problems and neither has Toyota. They only changed recommendations for oil changes from 7500 to 5000 miles for shits, and they offered a 8 year UNLIMITED mileage ENGINE REPLACEMENT for nothing. Don't tell me about synthetic oils either, your just showing what an ass you are. Put synthetic oils in your GM and it will last forever. Go look on eBay and see some of the highest mileage cars are GM's especially the Suburban and Tahoe.
Uh? Any car can make it to high miles. It is the ones that make it their without ANY repairs that count.
Just because it has high miles does not mean its great.
Many LS400 have been known to make it to 600,000+ miles on the original engine (one guy even made it to a million).
Hell, even my 98 LS400 which has 147,000 miles is still on the original alternator and starter, something I am sure that those high milage Tahoes can't say!
Why cant people just come with the actual facts?? Why do people feel they must lie in order to get a point across that has absolutely no credibility. This is the reason why these companies are still around and selling heaps of junks because people just have absolutely no idea what their talking about and they must know this. In that case go ahead and lie to your self and buy whatever you want is your right but pass on the lies to other people. "May the best car win" well the winner is the Lexus
Yeah, comparing Toyota sales numbers to GM right!? Where do you get your numbers from?? The credit crunch was not the only thing that hit GM, the shit hit the fan for them. You might want to rethink your false statements... 4% in a month?? they wish. Don't even try to compare sells numbers it would be a waste of time, Toyota sells more cars than not only GM but more than any auto maker in the WORLD, this world by the way. I do not know what kind of world you live in. Get your records straight!
No communism here buddy, nobody has to buy anything to live here you communist cunt. Just because people want to live in the U.S. does not mean we have to buy "American made" cars. They're not "American" like your ignorant self thinks, most are made in Mexico idiot. So since your so "American" and want to buy Mexican cars be my guess. You think with all the money this morons have been loosing they can afford real American workers?
I am about ready to, seriously who would want to be surrounded with idiots like yourself proclaiming to be patriotic by buying American made things, when in reality 95% of what you buy everyday is imported, so who cares if I buy a car from Japan at least I know it will work.
Your argument is trash stop trying to use that argument, unless you are willing to buy 100% percent of the things you use from America
The negativity is disturbing - this is a fabulous car and can only be truly appreciated by driving it. It is unlike any Buick in the last 20 years. Totally cool.
GM thinks that by coping a Lexus that their making a Lexus??? Have they forgotten that they went bankrupt for making POS cars and do people really belief that a bankrupt company NOW will make good quality cars??? The only people GM and Chrysler and Ford have left are masochists that are too "proud" of their american companies. The only market this people have is here in the US and half the people here already know how they lie about their products the rest is history
Just for the record, the largest market for GM is China. Also GM has retained about 80% of customers from the now defunct brands. Just last month GM sales increased over 4% compared to Toyota's .3%. GM is making the best vehicles in its long history and in fact were for the product cycle prior to the Bankruptcy. There was allot more to GM's bankruptcy than as you say "POS cars". The credit crunch hit right as GM was to recoup for its latest product development that depleted cash reserves.
You forget that GM is only making changes because they are being forced to by consumers. If it were up to them they would still be cutting back quality and making over priced monster SUVs to help their bottom line margin.
Toyota has always been financially strong while making quality cars, GM was only financially strong when they were making crappy cars. In fact this is the only time in Toyota's history that they have not turned a profit. However, GM has seen this situation many times before!
In fairness, Toyota has spent billions trying to copy those "over prices monster SUV's" and pick up trucks. Nissan did as well investing billions in Texas and Mississippi to build trucks and SUV's. It is one place where the Americans have always built the superior product hence the Titan is going away and the Tundra and its several billion dollar plant in Texas is only part of Toyota's now significant financial trouble.
Well, they never suceeded in doing it. Its that simple, the Japanese manufacterers have tried for years now to compete with the Pick up trucks and SUV's and never have. So you tell me how complicated can it be? Trucks and SUV's are simple vehicles and Toyota and Nissan have year after year offered inferior products in those markets. "Japanese Quality" has been next to non existant in their large vehicle offering often falling short of Chrylser levels.
Its nice to see Buick build a nice looking car for once. I hope they carry it over to other models. They need to shed that "old person" brand image. Bring back the Grand National! This car does have an uncanny resemblance to the ES350.
yea, but the lexus also have a uncanny resemblence to the BMW. you noticed the pattern? Lexus isn't unique as the naysayers are trying to make them look while they attack buick.
No Lexus looks like a BMW. for one all BMWs look the same and all BMWs have the exact same interior and they look nothing like a Lexus. Go find some pictures. Lexus does not need to copy any company especially one that does not know how to make different cars themselves.

if perfection is what you pursuit. get a BMW. or a ferrari.
lol, gm is desperate. people in america need to travel to see all the cars that toyota and lexus makes. and you will see why they are the best car company in the world. ill wait for the day when GM can beat the prius LOL. why dont they compare it to the lexus HS? or the LS? or GS? of course americans shitty ads like this up, due to their ignorance and stupidity.

American perfection.....oxymoron.
Sorry American car companies, but going back to you is like getting back together with an ex-girlfriend who I caught sleeping with my best friend. Ain't happening!
Well that is an indication of how satisfying you must be.You have no loyalties, and can't chose a best friend---maybe you should get off the "Lexus" bandwagon, and wake up to a company committed to actually building a great car at a better price.

If only they had a great car company before. I grew up in the 80's. I was on that "Buy American" for the sake of American, and I paid dearly for it. I had enough of properly maintaining and something always nickel and dimed me to death. My American cars had more miles up and down then actual driving.
I have had two Hondas and a Lexus....never had problems.

Sorry but when you're comparing a Lacrosse with an ES, the least you can do is show the Lacrosse with the projector lights. Surely you know how to market products properly right? You don't shown an ES with projectors compared to a version of the Lacrosse without them. It's stupid.

ChoSeungHvi 2 years ago
Buying from GM on the basis of supporting our economy is just plain stupid. Why? Because GM outsources most of their operation anyways, so money is still leaving our country.
Buying an American car does not profit our entire economy, but only profits GM and their associates. Don't be fooled by those saying that buying American will help, because those people who say that are also the ones who have and continue to buy TVs, food, appliances, computers etc. from other countries.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
@lexluthor400 please, don't be stupid. look up how many people GM employed in this country, and compare it to any foreign automaker. People like you bringing up the fact that there's a plant in Mexico (because GM was forced to run away from the cannibalistic unions) already have an agenda. Who cares where the car is assembled? Look at where DEVELOPED, and to which country the cash flows. As far as quality goes, look at recent surveys. Ford and some GM models surpassed Toyota, others not far
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
Look at where they are developed? Alright I take Japan please! GM's engineers are for the most part American. Therefore their engineers are products of our failing educational system and I would be willing to bet that they are not better than Japanese engineers. Japan has an exceptional education system especially in math. That is just what they do.
Not that American engineers are bad, its just the Japanese make more of an effort to reach perfection.
The cars speak for what I have said! Yota>GM
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Here in America everything produced here (especially cars) has a certain emphasis placed on it. Usually and unfortunately the emphasis is "quick and cheap". That is what we are as a nation now, everything is quick and cheap. Look at our roads, our American made cars, our utility infrastructure, it all is built cheaply and quickly with little concern for the future. However in reality all this ends up costing us more in the future and we begin to fall apart, just like GM and their business plan.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
As far as your "buy GM to support America" argument goes; I bet you and every one else screaming that has not the slightest idea about America's economy.
1. Ford, GM, and Chrysler combined only make up 4% of our nation's GDP.
2. Those 3 are moving production, assembly, and design OUTSIDE the nation.
So please explain HOW buying any of those is going to help?
Toyota is bringing jobs here more & more everyday, they are not government owned and can build a decent product, so you decide, I go Yota
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Who cares where it is assembled??
Would you rather have a watch that was assembled by a Swiss craftsman or a one from a Chinese sweat shop?
When GM goes 15 CONSECUTIVE years as the most reliable make, like Lexus did; MAYBE I will give them some respect. This years results (JD pwr) are misleading too. Lexus still won in every segment they compete in, so Buick is not the BEST, they just had fewer segments to compete in, and therefore less problems to deal with overall.
You have a lot to learn.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
bad analogy.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
If you think that assembly has little to do with final quality then you are an idiot. Either way, Lexus uses very quality products in their cars, trust me I own one, nothing feels cheap at all; even after 11 years NOTHING rattles or squeaks and it feels very solid. Even IF Buick used quality materials, they are still assembled by some slob union worker who cares more about making his $80 an hour rather than how well he assembles your car. You can't deny that!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Trust me, any money that Detroit makes in the future IS NOT going to go to fix our failing educational system.
I find it funny how you worry about sending money to Japan, but yet you buy many everyday products from China (including GM parts) and you are perfectly happy with that, but when someone buys a Toyota all of the sudden its a no no?
Go fuck yourself, wake up and stop being a blind loyalist to a company that has taken your money because of its failure to maintain a decent business!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
hahah go fuck myself?
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
No, you are done arguing because you know I am right.
I don't look down on anyone, because everyone has to start somewhere and if they choose to stay there that is their choice and I could careless and show no condescension towards that. So you wrong again! (no surprise there)
IIf you want to support a company that has been plagued by bad unions, one that is government owned, one that has taken your money and then has the audacity to sell you a cheap product back, GO AHEAD, but I REFUSE!!!!!!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
The only thing you are right about is the fact that the quality of GM's (and the other two) was inferior in the past. Everything else you are just speaking from a prejudgement in your head spoon fed to you. What slobs in Kansas City are you talking about? You've never been to that plant, nor probably to any plant for that matter. Furthermore, what cheap product are they selling you back? They are giving you a car with more features, German engineering at a lower price.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
So if a car has features its not cheap? That is exactly what is wrong with the Big 3. They think everyone wants ticky-tack features i.e blind spot sensing mirrors, music hard-drives, etc. Thats just BS!
I want a car that is well made and reliable and Toyota/Lexus do that, plus they happen to have many features.
American cars = Form>Function
Japanese cars = Function>Form
lexluthor400 2 years ago
That is the thing that sadens me the most. Here in America we built some of the most impressive military vehicles, ships, satellites, and Aircraft. Yet most of our domestic car companies cant built a decent car for shit. There has been plenty of businesses here that could come up with and make some really impressive stuff. But relying on detroit for that is a great shame.
EpiDemic117 2 years ago
I know im not going to convince you, but what boggles my mind is that you compare buying a foreign $1000 TV to a foreign $30,000 car. AND THEN you complain about our failing education system, and lack of money. THEN you put down the country as a whole, saying that nothing of quality is done here, ignoring that some of the best experts and products like heavy machinery, aircraft, large scale construction are US. What a fucking joke..
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
I don't think everything made in America is bad. But what is bad is what the general public buys. Do you buy heavy machinery, or aircraft? No, but what you do buy are things like cars or boats, and you have to be honest in that American companies see "fast & cheap" as better than "Quality & value".
You also don't seem to understand that in other countries they are just as good, if not better, at engineering and manufacturing many things. Face it, America is not the BEST at EVERYTHING.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
I never complained about our lack of money!
But our government decided it would be a great idea to go against this system and buy 61% of a failing company, just GREAT! ..
lexluthor400 2 years ago
are you insane? Are you forgetting the assistance Japan has been giving to their automakers when times were good? - development of new technologies (grants, not loans like the money you mention), currency manipulation to maximize profits, not to mention heavy taxes on imports. If it wasnt for the US's most open market policies I know, your Lexus would've cost 40-80% more.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
Are you just going to blatantly ignore that American companies also receive grants to improve technology i.e Hybrid tech?
The Japanese government and Toyota are not what is destroying GM. GM put them selves into this situation plain and simple. Quit trying to blame and point fingers, maybe our Big 3 could learn something from Toyota!
I suggest you read "The Machine That Changed the World" then you will begin to understand why GM, Ford, and Chrysler are struggling right now.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
they did get help, but aside from this loan and the hybrid tech help they got last year, when was the last time they got anything from the govt? Dont ignore that they are not shielded by high taxes on imported cars like other countries!
I am not shifting blame, they have made huge mistakes, and the newcomers learned from them (like to avoid the unions). But, I do give credit where it's due, (when they come out with a quality product), and bring counterpoints which in your bitterness, you avoid.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
Also, if you had said "hey, I had a bad experience in the past, and because of unproven reliability, im afraid to buy domestic just yet" I would've said "understandable, you are just a harder skeptic whose trust they will have to earn." But in arrogance you decide to show unsubstantiated ideas that foreigns are some miracle companies and domestic cars are made in Chinese sweatshops, or by slobs in Kansas City, contempt, and absolutely no idea about the car manuf. except some archaic stereotypes.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
Your right I should have come right out and said "I have had MANY problems with domestic cars!" (my family has had a Jeep cherokee, a Chrysler concorde, and a chevy impala)
I have seen first hand the difference in quality and dependability.
So I'm not just making unsubstantiated claims.
Now my family owns Toyota's (mine a 98 Ls400, mom has 01 ES300, brother 96 Es300, Dad 03 Tacoma, little bro a 01 Camry) All have not had ONE single problem in the past few years unlike the previous cars!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
@Ukrainatrain I give credit where credit is due! I give Toyota credit for always striving to provide quality cars that last awhile at a great value. HOWEVER, I do not give it to GM because they only make necessary changes in their company to avoid going under. GM is only making their product better for that reason, otherwise they would still be selling the crap they pumped out the last decade with all the cheap plastics, noisy mechanics, faulty electronics etc just to make a few extra bucks!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
haha once again you show your ignorance to the car business.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
@Ukrainatrain Don't start with the "your sending your money overseas" BS again. When will you realize that the world has entered a global market unlike never before.
American business have been outsourcing jobs away from American's for years now, especially GM. If anything, you should complain to GM about that and tell them to give us more jobs here. Payroll usually is about 80+% of a business' expense, so paying all those Chinese and Mexican workers is not helping here either.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
well, youre still highlighting the fact that GM has outsourced a fraction of their work overseas, and foreign companies brought a fraction of their work here.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
The guy is correct that the Unions have destroyed our educational system and the UAW have pretty much destroyed GM. Toyota has plants here and employes US citizens, I would rather support a non union company or even the Red Chinese than continue to support the unions because I think about what would be worse in the long run for our country and supporting these unions is far worse.
EXPcustom 2 years ago
Our primary and secondary education (high schools) lag behind other countries due to many factors. I dislike them, but explain how unions are responsible. Our university education, besides being overpriced, does not suffer. GM has recently shed unfair UAW obligations, and has non unions plants in the South. GM alone employs astronomically more US citizens than all foreign companies combined, so youre pretty off on all counts. Your idea of increasing the trade deficit w Chinese is just assenine..
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
@Ukrainatrain Unions are destroying industries, like the auto industry, by demanding outrageous pay for minimal work. UAW members make like $80 an hour, FOR WHAT? By doing this companies like GM are forced to reallocate profits towards pensions and salaries rather than R&D on new tech. Then GM is forced to use cheaper materials etc. This is also how quality suffers because the bottom line profit becomes the target and not quality.
Can you see the vicious cycle that this turns into?
lexluthor400 2 years ago 2
BTW, just thought id let you know, the La Crosse is assembled in Kansas City, not a Chinese sweatshop, and if you ask me, I think its much better proportioned and sexier than the desperate housewife's ES.
Ukrainatrain 2 years ago
Assembled in Kansas City by some slob of a union worker, who in all honesty could careless about how well of a job he does, because he just wants his ridiculous $80 an hour that he gets from GM.
I will take my 98 LS400 which was mostly hand assembled in Tahara Japan by someone who actually cares about his work and takes great pride in working for his company. That is what Toyota promotes, not some union that destroys the Company/Employee relationship with crazy demands like $80 an hour pay!!!!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
As for looks, I personally don't think either the Lexus ES or the Buick look good, I like the LX570, IS350/F, LF-A, and the LS400/460. But looks are subjective and have nothing to do with how good a car is, so don't go there.
If you think a car is sexy then you have problems, especially this bloated plastic looking Buick!

Toyota>GM

If I was retarded then I wouldn't be able to type as well as it appears I do. Also, I graduated with a MIS and MBA so don't call me dumb.
Intelligence is a matter of opinion. It has no standard limit in the definition of the word.
e.g. Joe's the most intelligent student in his class, although he would not compare to an AI automated super computer.
ChoSeungHvi 2 years ago
You are retarded, and have confirmed my original thoughts about you by saying that a supercomputer is smarter than a human.
A computer can only perform functions programmed by a HUMAN. A computer is great for solving equations that are simply to complex for any human to write out and solve.
However, computers cannot problem solve like humans can. There will never be a substitute for human intelligence.
If you think computers are smarter than man, you really are dumb.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
A super computer contains information implemented from multiple humans not just from one single human. No human can compete with the intelligence of a super computer.
My point was to inform you that intelligence is set by opinion.
e.g. Joe was the most intelligent man alive in the year 1010 B.C. Although he would no longer be considered intelligent in the year 2009 by most humans.
Intelligence is a matter of opinion by the beings that set the new standards.
ChoSeungHvi 2 years ago
So by your definition, that would mean your getting dumber by the day and no matter what, I will always be smarter than you!
A computer can only perform functions and equations, so it does not matter how many people program it. People, well smart people, are still the leaders when it comes to problem solving.
If you think a computer is 'smarter' than you, then why aren't computers designing and building things without ANY input from humans? They can't, they still need human engineers!
lexluthor400 2 years ago

For everyone just make sure you look at the public records and really research and do not belief this jackass or GM cause that what they expect you to do.
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Lol, they do all of that hence the recalls and court records but hey fanboy knows best right?
BamFor07 2 years ago
Don't get your panties in a wod because you don't like the truth. The truth is Toyota has made ALOT of mistakes and the truth is that GM still sells more vehicles in North America than Toyota does. The truth is that American trucks and SUV's are better than their Japanese competition, hence they outsell them by triple digit margins. The truth is you know all this is true, so you will stick to name calling and imaginary numbers. Edmunds and Motor Trend to name a few disagree with you.
BamFor07 2 years ago
No the truth is ALL companies will have some problems. It just part of running a worldwide business of mass production. BUT it is how they correct these problems and keep those problems out of future vehicles that determines a good company.
Since it seems like your a "numbers" guy, how do you explain Toyota taking down GM as the worlds largest automaker? Really what is your logical explanation for why the world market has made Toyota number #1 and not GM?
Its fact don't worry sales= Toyota>GM
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Why are you saying no? If you were capable of reading a sentance and retaining 10% of it then you would see that has been my point all along. Toyota was forced to fix the oil sludge problems after a class action legal battle. They did not step up at all, they fought it tooth and nail when it was clearly their fault, so your point about that making a good company is moot. GM sells more vehicle in the worlds 2 largest auto markets, China and North America. You are right the Taliban loves Toyota.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Its- sentence- not sentance.
Who cares IF they have 2 big markets, they are still not selling
lexluthor400 2 years ago
It was pointed out to show to you and your butt buddy fanboy that Toyota is far from perfect itself, in fact going strictly by the numbers Toyota has has more vehicles recalled in the past decade than anybody else, fanboys like you should really take a closer look.
Actually world 3 largest, thats your reading comprehension skills letting you down once again. Toyota sells more vehicles in the worlds smaller markets and second tier markets. I guess you could say the developed world prefers GM.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Actually if you take a close look at the recall numbers, GM has new recalls almost daily. They already had to recall the new Camaro because the battery cables rub against the starter housing and the chafing causes the wires to short out. WOW real good engineering there, seriously no one noticed that the cables were rubbing against the starter housing?
Why can't you still comprehend that Toyota is #1 and will be from here on out?
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Why so much hate? Well, you're missing a comma some where in you're comment. Also, being dumb is a matter of opinion. I highly considered you keep your intelligence to yourself, because that is a matter of opinion as well.
ChoSeungHvi 2 years ago
Actually, intelligence is NOT a matter of opinion, but I guess only someone as dumb as you would think that way.
A comma? What? Where? Are you retarded? Regardless, you still understood my point!
I seriously can't stand the ignorance of people like you anymore, and judging by your profile's comments; no one else likes you either.
"I highly considered you keep" WHAT? Do yourself a favor and get an education, at least past the 4th grade.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Please learn to write in complete sentances.
Please learn that you can not start a sentance with the word "but".
I would have expected you to know that, since you are so quick to offer grammatical critiques.
BTW, make that the world top 3 Auto markets. GM>Toyota Europe
GM>Toyota North America
GM>Toyota China
So yea, I guess I am a numbers guy.
In fact don't worry, "numbers" clearly aren't your thing.
BTW you still need proof of my jag.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Obviously your english composition education stopped at the 7th grade, cause you can start a sentence with what ever word you like as long as it has a subject+verb and parallel structure.
If you don't believe me go read a few books and you'll see that you are nothing but an uneducated tard who defends GM and goes around on youtube making up stories about what you do and what you own.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Yawn, by trying to point out others mistakes you have shown of your own stupidity, live with it.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Jesus, just look at your first sentence "stopped at the 7th grade", incorrect. "Cause" is not a word and the list goes on. You would do well to drop the grammar argument because if you can't point out errors correctly, then you ought to keep your mouth shut.
BamFor07 2 years ago
"Cause" is a word, look it up. You would do well to stop trying to find my mistakes, since the only ones you can come up with are not even mistakes; Cause, but, stopped at the 7th grade, seriously is that all you can come up with?
Since you keep wanting to be "Mr. look at the facts" lets do that.
1. Toyota is #1
2. Toyota has been CONSISTENTLY rated higher in quality over GM.
3. Toyota has been CONSISTENTLY rated higher in reliability over GM (Lexus won 15 years straight)
4. You are dumb.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
While it is likely that Toyota will retain the "worlds largest auto maker" title for the second year. You might be interested to note that for the first 6 months of 2009 their worldwide lead was only by 11,000 vehicles. That is also considering that anybody would trust Toyota's numbers. You might remember when they tried to claim Toyota outsold Chevrolet, that is when including Scion, who they claimed counted but Chevrolet could not claim any other brand. They have a history of cheating.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Where do you come up with this stuff? Are you really trying to explain WHY GM is now behind Toyota, and your going to use the explanation that Toyota cheated?
What you are missing here is the bigger picture; GM is failing because they can't compete anymore. Obviously the statistics don't lie, Toyota is out selling them everywhere in the world.
Why can't you see that the one and ONLY reason why GM is still around is because of idiots like you, if it was not for the blind loyalists; GM=Nothing
lexluthor400 2 years ago
It comes from these little things called sources, you should try having those before you go on the offensive based on incorrect information. Don't believe my numbers, look them up, Edmunds and MotorTrend both do a simple breakdown of the month to month numbers. You should read into things before you attack others, you just show your bias and lack of intelligence. Idiots like you really ought to try this thing called research, tell you what go check out those numbers and then come talk.
BamFor07 2 years ago
So why Edmunds or MT?
lexluthor400 2 years ago
GM does not outsell Toyota, GM went bankrupted and now is government owned!!! Like I said before the only reason Ford figures are high on f150s is because they sell to law enforcement all over the NATION then they turn around and say "oh look how good the f150 sells". Listen moron Im not going to waste time with you any longer, like I said go drive a Ford or GM you deserve it for being such an ignorant. These companies have a long history of lying to their customers to sell cars, you being #1.
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
BamFor07 2 years ago
tried to keep under wraps. Ford...
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Those are not isolated problems. The oil sludge WAS Toyotas problems, poorly designed oil lines, pumps etc caused those problems, Toyota has come forth and admited that. The floor mats was due to another design element in the floor board, yet interestingly enough there is information coming forward right now that says the problem is not with the floor mat but with the vehicle itself. Where are they now? Ford is doing pretty well, they have a ways to go still but are improving. Stupid? Thats you.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Please learn how to structure a sentence with the correct tenses.
"The floor mats was due to another design element"
lexluthor400 2 years ago
My bad the word "were" would have been much better. Again, maybe you need to take a closer look at your own errors before pointing out others as if that makes you seem more intelligant.
BamFor07 2 years ago
This is how you spell intelligent, not intelligant!
Look at how fast you are to show off how stupid you are. It really is incredible how deep you can dig your own holes. I don't have to make my self feel intelligent, because I am and have a confirmed score of 126 on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) which means I am in the 6-7% percentile range.
You on the other hand can't even spell intelligent, much less be intelligent!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Funny how all you can pull is isolated problems, oil sludge, floor mats... which in the end is people errors from people dumb like you. But the problems that domestic car companies faced were DESIGN AND MECHANICAL FAILURES!!! Ford flipping people over on their explorers due to their so good "corporate axle" which they got sued big time and they tried to get out of it by saying it was the tires, right! GM, Ford, Dodge diesels OMG i can even list with this 200 character limit, which they also....
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
All I can pull? No there is ALOT more. Isolated, the oil sludge problem wich Toyota admited was there fault effected hundreds of thousands and will continue to effect even more. The reticulating ball failures in the trucks and SUV's effected yet again several hundred thousand vehicles. The final investigation on the Explorer ended with the tires, that was the offical cause as stated by NHTSA etc. Toyota's problems stemmed from poor degigns and poor manufactering procesees. Get a clue.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Please learn how to spell.
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Perhaps you should take a closer look at your own previous comments as well as your little friends as your spelling and vocabulary are far from perfect.

Toyota sells more SUVs and Trucks than your POS Ford or GM dickhead, just look at south texas(which I am right now and can see for my self) this is FORD territory yet the Tundras are outnumbering Ford 3 to 1, those Tundras are selling like hot cakes while your Ford are collecting bird crap at dealers!!! Come with actual facts dont just come here with your BS and expect people to be stupid enough like you to belief you.
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Im sorry but seeing vehicles at the local Wal-Mart does not qualify as data. The F-150 outsells the Tundra buy huge margins as does the Silverado etc. These are indisputable facts. Funny you would call anybody stupid when claiming the Tundra outsells the F-150. They sell as many F-150 in 3 months as they do Tundras in a year, nationwide.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Hell we will take a look at a single month. February 2008, Ford sold 52,538 F-150's. Toyota sold 14,400 Tundras. There has been no massive reversal. Toyota this Feb sold less than 6,000 Tundra's. The Market doesn't lie.
BamFor07 2 years ago
@BamFor07
This third quarter Ford barely made 1bill dollars while Toyota made $44 BILL!!!!!!!!
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
I never said Toyota did not outsell Ford. I said GM outsold Toyota, read for understanding next time. The Government never released any data of its own pertaining to the type of vehicles or popularity of said vehicles. Drop the insults you are just making yourself appear dumber than you already have by failing to comprehend what I wrote. Not one thing I have said Is false.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Surely any Toyota Fanboy has to admit that which Toyota itself has already admited. The MASSIVE recalls and problems with the Oil sludge problem dating back to the late 90's. Toyota vehicles of all kinds and some Lexus' models also suffered from that problem. Proof positive Toyota makes mistakes too. Or the reticulating ball failures in the Tundra's, Tacoma's and Sequia's. Or the most recent recall concerneing sticking accelerators not due to floor mats lol.
BamFor07 2 years ago
dont know what you guys are arguing about.. toyota and nissan have more factories in american than they do in their own country.. so its still american made
1undeadwarr 2 years ago
...once again due to the incompetence in this country from people like you, the Yen is almost the same value as the dollar, and this company relies on cheap yen to make big dollars morons, Toyota is by no way selling less vehicles, or did you forget what was the best sold car with obamas clunker deal... since your ignorants i'll tell you it was the COROLLA!!! Toyota is the best selling cars in the world because they make the best cars and apparently also means that your kind is disappearing.
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Dont get so worked up, quit acting like a little kid with the name calling etc. You are simply demostrating your childishness and lack of intelligance. If you want to discuss things then fine but holding up your side of the argument as if it is gosspil when everything you are saying is argumentative at best is showing off your ignorance. Also there is no clear winner in the cash for clunkers deal as no real world numbers can prove either way.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Toyota claimed that the Corrolla was the best selling car under the program. The US government itself never released any figures. Depending on who you trust the numbers are different. Edmunds who is ane extremely highly regarded group gave the Corolla the number 9 sport behind the Focus at number 2. The F-150 and Silverado were also extremely popular. Toyota is in every way selling fewer vehicles than it did, everybody is and Toyota is in every way still selling fewer than GM in North America.
BamFor07 2 years ago
You want to talk SUVs morons take a look at your big 3 SUVs and notice the axel width, even some of their cars, they make a wide SUV and put a narrow axel under it, how stupid is that, no wonder this cars have problems staying upright, example.. Ford explorer, then take a look at the Toyota SUVs. Listen morons these people did not go bankrupted because they made reliable cars idiots, and by the way Toyota is not going thru anything, the only problem Toyota is facing is.....
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
I don't know where you are getting your information. The current Explorer uses what is knows as a Ford Corporate axle, its dimension in every way exceed those used on the Toyota 4Runner its main competition. There are many formulas that go into the proper axle usage in a vehicle like that, everybody regarless of manufacterer used these table etc. Toyota is going through its worst financial crisis in history, it may not be in danger of bankruptcy but it is not a healthy company by an means.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Japanese copying American cars??? Never! The Japanese started out making small economic cars. And now they make any type of car better than GM, Ford, or Chrysler. Their SUVs are nothing like American SUVs. For one they are more practical, the American way is to make an oversize SUV with the biggest engine possible to full the minds of fools like bamfor07 and tenmpf150, japanese motors have more power in a smaller package than your POS GM...
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Easy chief, you are 100% incorrect. Toyota began production of vehicles like the Tundra and Sequia with the stated intention of competeing with the American manufacterers. Simple as that, those vehicles are built using the same formula as their competition, body on frame construction etc. They have never suceeded in garnering anywhere near the market share they were hoped to. They are inferior products and the market highlights this.
BamFor07 2 years ago
Lexluthor400... I could not agree with you more my friend, it is amazing how ignorant this people are. They pull false facts out their asses but the sad truth is that they actually belief it themselves. That guy talking about the Toyota warranty makes no sense, talking about oil recommendation, for one the oil companies are the ones that recommend when to change their oils, changing oil does not depend on the car you ignorant morons, or what GM cars do not get hot? losers.
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Did you know that GM philosophy back when they started was to make cheap cars that would fall apart in a few years so people would have to buy parts or buy another car. Yeah and then they wonder how they got to where they're at. Oh by the way, their philosophy... hasn't changed. With honestly, may the best car win. Do not forget that GM is government owned, if they lied before I wonder now that politics are involved.
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
...whole line. Sludge problems can happen on ANY car and that is because sludge problem is not a car problem is a moron like you problem that does not know how to buy synthetic oil which will NEVER sludge. Trying to save a few cents on cars will normally get you a big repair bill.
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Toyota admitted fault on the oil sludge problem. Funny how the competition who used similar oil etc and sold vehicles to similar people did not have these problems. Toyota admitted to the problems that caused these sludge problems that often led to engines siezing up etc, they ranged from poorly fitting oil lines to poorly designed and insufficently sized oil lines to pump failures and a myriad of other things. It wasn't peoples fault it was Toyota's hence Toyota offered the repairs.
BamFor07 2 years ago

And this is the only way they will ever make money since there will always be fools out there like "etbarden". hofstetter06 2 years ago
Let's see where this Buick will be a few years from date of purchase.
lavakava 2 years ago
My 97 Buick Regal has 108,000 miles on it, haven't had any issues except regular maintenance and tires.
deathbyhammer 2 years ago
Yeah but how many plastic pieces are rattling inside your car?
My 98 Ls400 has 147,000 miles on it and it still has NOT ONE rattle or squeak inside or out. The engine still runs smooth enough to balance a coin on top and rev.
Thats is quality, not some buick with 108,000 miles. Every car should go 100,000+ miles, that should not be amazing, but somehow it is to most American made car owners.
There are many Lexi out there that have well over 500,000 miles with the original engine look it up!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
We'll see how much it smokes the Lexus in 5 years. Once that buick's engine starts burning oil it will be smoking the Lexus alright!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
The funny thing is that it looks like they tried to copy the ES's style with minor cosmetic changes. This car has nothing on the LS though.
artistone123 2 years ago
Yeah, you people are idiots. And we wonder why America is killing itself. We should exterminate you idiots at birth. Why open your mouths about subjects that you really know absolutely nothing about. GM isn't in trouble for making "pos cars", there are many factors that led to GM's troubles. For one GM's workers are the best compensated in the entire world, and their retirees have some of the best pension benefits of any company in the world.
tenmpf150 2 years ago
Retirees are now outliving their pensions by 10-15 years, and the UAW is responsible for workers costing GM $72 per hour with wages and benefits. I have owned 2 Lexus cars and trust me there is nothing particularly fantastic about a Lexus, they have relatively poor engine reliability with engine sludge issues and MAF sensor issues. Transmissions are also a problem for Lexus, with many reports of erratic operation to just plain failure.
tenmpf150 2 years ago
relatively poor engine reliability? Okay you have just lost whatever credibility you had!
The engine sludge recall was one engine, and it is not just a Lexus problem. GM has had MANY more recalls on engine related parts.
My 98 LS400 has gone 146,000 miles with not one problem and it still runs strong, and the transmission is fine too.
I find it funny how people like you say Lexus is unreliable, when for the past 15 CONSECUTIVE years they were rated the best. What does that say about GM?
lexluthor400 2 years ago 2
If you want to only support japanese why don't you go live there.
etbarden 2 years ago
Why do you support a company that is 61% owned by the government?
That is not the American way, is it?
I am American and I buy the best product at the best price from the best company, and Toyota does have all that. If anything I am the American and you are the uneducated ignorant ass who makes himself look stupid, by saying that buying a Japanese made car is un-patriotic, while at the same time you support government run business in the US.
Don't waste my time you ignorant ass!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Nobody said that Lexus was unreliable, I just meant that they have their problems too, and drastic problems at that. They offered an 8 year, unlimited mileage warranty replacement of the entire engine. That has to say something.
tenmpf150 2 years ago
Dont even consider saying that GM is in the #1 reliability spot with Buick, because if you look at the study (JD Power) you will still see that Lexus won outright in every segment which they compete in, yes all ten!
Toyota has a reputation, and its good!
GM has one too, but not so good!
lexluthor400 2 years ago 2
@tenmpf150,
my MAP sensor failed on several GM vehicles I owned but NEVER on a Lexus. oh, the lengths the pseudo-patriots and agents of GM go to bash lexus!
lavakava 2 years ago
So pull your heads out of you asses before you go on shooting your mouths off.
tenmpf150 2 years ago
If they could sell decent cars, all the other stuff would not matter! They could pay well like they do, they could give good benefits like they do, they could; but only if they sell cars! DUH!
GM is not an innovator, but rather they are only a company that rides the fad waves. First it was muscle, then safety, then it was massive SUVs, and now it is MPGs. Toyota has always made quality, safe, reliable, efficient cars. So they have no need to chase like GM is now doing to Toyota!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Let me put it this way:
Companies that have ALWAYS had a focus on safety, reliability, quality, efficiency are going to CONTINUE to succeed.
GM has not ALWAYS had this focus.
Therefore they will continue to fail!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
Your right!! actually an idiot that tells the truth without thinking, GM did not go down just because they made POS cars, it was like you said... bad management, selling very little cars and paying all the executives a lot of money, yeah real smart. GM paying mexicans a lot of money?? I don't think so.
Lexus sludge problems, transmission problems, MAF sensor issues?? are you that dumb. Lexus motors/transmissions are identical to the one on Toyota cars so the problem would have been across the..
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Yes your right, Lexus has had no problems and neither has Toyota. They only changed recommendations for oil changes from 7500 to 5000 miles for shits, and they offered a 8 year UNLIMITED mileage ENGINE REPLACEMENT for nothing. Don't tell me about synthetic oils either, your just showing what an ass you are. Put synthetic oils in your GM and it will last forever. Go look on eBay and see some of the highest mileage cars are GM's especially the Suburban and Tahoe.
tenmpf150 2 years ago

Why don't you go live in another country if you don't support what we make.
etbarden 2 years ago
No communism here buddy, nobody has to buy anything to live here you communist cunt. Just because people want to live in the U.S. does not mean we have to buy "American made" cars. They're not "American" like your ignorant self thinks, most are made in Mexico idiot. So since your so "American" and want to buy Mexican cars be my guess. You think with all the money this morons have been loosing they can afford real American workers?
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
I am about ready to, seriously who would want to be surrounded with idiots like yourself proclaiming to be patriotic by buying American made things, when in reality 95% of what you buy everyday is imported, so who cares if I buy a car from Japan at least I know it will work.
Your argument is trash stop trying to use that argument, unless you are willing to buy 100% percent of the things you use from America
Good luck on that one!

The negativity is disturbing - this is a fabulous car and can only be truly appreciated by driving it. It is unlike any Buick in the last 20 years. Totally cool.

You sound like a Buick salesman!

They gone so low that now their trying to use Korean automakers strategies to copy other cars in order to get back up again.

This is like a Many Pacquiao (Lexus) vs De La Hoya (Buick) fight, totally outclassed!!

The only market this people have is here in the US and half the people here already know how they lie about their products the rest is history
tenshilvrz 2 years ago
Just for the record, the largest market for GM is China. Also GM has retained about 80% of customers from the now defunct brands. Just last month GM sales increased over 4% compared to Toyota's .3%. GM is making the best vehicles in its long history and in fact were for the product cycle prior to the Bankruptcy. There was allot more to GM's bankruptcy than as you say "POS cars". The credit crunch hit right as GM was to recoup for its latest product development that depleted cash reserves.
BamFor07 2 years ago
You forget that GM is only making changes because they are being forced to by consumers. If it were up to them they would still be cutting back quality and making over priced monster SUVs to help their bottom line margin.
Toyota has always been financially strong while making quality cars, GM was only financially strong when they were making crappy cars. In fact this is the only time in Toyota's history that they have not turned a profit. However, GM has seen this situation many times before!
lexluthor400 2 years ago
In fairness, Toyota has spent billions trying to copy those "over prices monster SUV's" and pick up trucks. Nissan did as well investing billions in Texas and Mississippi to build trucks and SUV's. It is one place where the Americans have always built the superior product hence the Titan is going away and the Tundra and its several billion dollar plant in Texas is only part of Toyota's now significant financial trouble.
BamFor07 2 years ago
They were not trying to copy! You really think its that hard to build a massive body and put a huge engine in it?
lexluthor400 2 years ago

This car does have an uncanny resemblance to the ES350.
mcbrees 2 years ago
yea, but the lexus also have a uncanny resemblence to the BMW. you noticed the pattern? Lexus isn't unique as the naysayers are trying to make them look while they attack buick.
epics7 2 years ago
Its a matter of opinion. I personally don't see the BMW similarity. Maybe a little with the headlights and tail lights.
mcbrees 2 years ago
It's no opinion, it's facts and facts that have come up often. Look at the BMW largest sudan and Lexus and see the similarities.
epics7 2 years ago
No Lexus looks like a BMW. for one all BMWs look the same and all BMWs have the exact same interior and they look nothing like a Lexus. Go find some pictures. Lexus does not need to copy any company especially one that does not know how to make different cars themselves.

American perfection.....oxymoron.
Sorry American car companies, but going back to you is like getting back together with an ex-girlfriend who I caught sleeping with my best friend. Ain't happening!
Lexus FTW.
flipicaneze 2 years ago
Well that is an indication of how satisfying you must be.You have no loyalties, and can't chose a best friend---maybe you should get off the "Lexus" bandwagon, and wake up to a company committed to actually building a great car at a better price.

If only they had a great car company before. I grew up in the 80's. I was on that "Buy American" for the sake of American, and I paid dearly for it. I had enough of properly maintaining and something always nickel and dimed me to death. My American cars had more miles up and down then actual driving.
I have had two Hondas and a Lexus....never had problems.
