  • @jsullysix Thanks so much Sully! Your videos really help!

  • @jsullysix what's the diffrents with a straigt tune o matic bridge and a angled bridge?

love your work by the way your the real deal gibson are probably licking their chops when seeing your sunbursts!!!

  • @laiholapso Angling the bridge back on the bass side helps for a more accurate intonation. Thanks for the kind words!

  • @jsullysix and is a more accurate intonation needed or is it just a bit fundamental?

would the sound improve? saw the dj nelson v by the way nice job man looks very smoove.

  • @laiholapso You want to have your intonation dead on so that the guitar plays in tune all across the neck. Glad you liked DJ's V!

  • hey Sully great videos!!

quick questions: when you temporarily set the bridge there, do you set the saddles all right in the middle? and also which side or the bridge do you first move the lower E or the higher e side of the bridge?

i know its kinda complicated but i would appreciate ur help!!

    thanks again

  • @aneka2 Not complicated at all! For the intonation portion, yes, it's a good idea to set the saddles at half travel. If you angle the bridge back, it's the bass side that you move back (usually about 1/16")

  • @jsullysix Thank you so much Sully your videos are always packed with priceless info!

    Keep 'em coming!!

  • @aneka2 priceless info? wow. Thanks! I'm happy if people watch more than 30 seconds.

  • now sully.........would you be will to make a paul stanley lefty flying v ? by chance?

  • @kissfreak1998 A black lefty flying V with one humbucker and a mirrored pickguard? Sure.

  • @jsullysix now......here comes the thing!!!!!!!! how much would it coust?

  • @kissfreak1998 Probably between 1600 - 1800.

  • @jsullysix y so much?

  • @jsullysix u can by it brand new righty for like $200.00

  • @jsullysix This is going to sound rude, and I'm sorry, in advance, but like most manufacturers, Washburn has all kinds of CNC and unskilled labor building their stuff. I have me in my garage. Custom guitars aren't cheap.

  • @jsullysix ok.....i under stand.......i have an idea!!!! how bout $200 and a lefty les paul?

  • @kissfreak1998 Or you can sell the lefty les paul and let me know when you get your dough together. ;)

  • @kissfreak1998 sully beats the shit out of what gibson brings on the market and you come up with 200 dollars? haha you can't be serious sully = pro don't talk shit!

  • @jsullysix ok i understand..i have an idea!!!!!! how bout $200 and a lefty les paul?

  • @jsullysix ok i will do just that

  • i love firebird guitars, the coolest ones is the jacksons. i would pay anything to you for making a guitar for me.

  • @sgogiz1 Well, head over to the facebook page (there should be a link to it in the description of this video) because I'll be taking orders and deposits for them very, very soon!

  • Always informative. Great vid's

  • @Feet4hands thanks!

  • hey sully i have a les paul style guitar and one day when i switched to treble i could almost hear a clean sound. what do you think wrong guitar sully?

  • A lot of potential things, based on what you've told me. So you were playing distorted on the neck pickup, switched it to the bridge, and you got a clean tone? completely clean? Or could you hear a little bit of the neck pickup bleeding through? Need more info to really be able to troubleshoot.

  • on english class i have to do a work on a person you admire, and i pick you!!!

  • Oh dude, set the bar higher than me! :) In all seriousness, that's quite a compliment!
