yes...this is Countdown by john coltrane. very similar in progressions to Giant Steps and Satellite, both other Coltrane tunes. Would definitely recommend checking out the Giant Steps album by coltrane. Mehldau does it justice....I would love to hear Robert Glasper try it as well
Are there any other pieces that are in this style and atonality that are available with any composer/ arranger? Because I really NEED to hear more of this so badly.
