T.T i cried my eyeballs out... its amazing that two different characters (yes, the 9th and 10th Doctor are technically the same person but in a way, they differ greatly in many aspects eg preferances and characteristics) would still retain the love they have for one person... but, does that mean that when he changes from the 9th to the 10th, she recognizes him? :)
@darkkissesful Well, one, I hate Amy and Rory. Second, I just forgot Jack. Third, this is the Tenth Doctors. Fourth, a question, do YOU like Amy and Rory?
@TheAfroThunder1 i love all the people who travel with the doctor but i like rory least, he does have his moments though . why do u hate amy and rory??
@darkkissesful Not to be rude, but she's a whore, a b**ch and a person who seemingly has forgotten about her whole family except Rory and River in some episodes. I could list all reasons, but if you type in "Why I hate Amy Pond", Fellowshipofthening does it for me (I disagree about the Donna argument, but everything else is spot on). Go on, type it in. I dare you!
Wow. In his final moment as the tenth doctor, the last person he ever said goodbye to was Rose Tyler. Just goes to show how special she was to him. You will be missed, Rose.
waaaa. Its always the scenes where rose leaves and its alway the scenes when you can tell the doctor really really misses rose (eyes watering) its always those scenes that bring tears to my eyes. But no offence to Matha but when she left I wasn't sad at all cos I think it was just the series but I didn't really like the 3rd series but a tear was brought to my eye when Donna left!!! I think that Rose and Donna were the best compainons!!!!
I think The Doctor should have said "I bet this year's gonna be 'fantastic'", as a nod to The Ninth Doctor...everyone else who contributed to the RTD years got a mention, and it would have gave the scene more meaning, bringing everything full circle. :)
Her Theme song tears me up every time I hear it. In it you can just hear the purity and the swetness that is Rose. When She said 'See ya' I bawled! lol
Every freaking time I watch this, i cry... I've been avoiding for months to watch it again, but i couldn't... so tragic... so bloody tragic... i hate that finale, but i love it at the same time. I know the doctor loved her... it can't be something else... why now it's like she never existed? and why is river song better than rose. shit... :(
I had never watched the end of the Tenth Doctor before. I didn't know he met Rose one last time before he changed. It should be even harder for him to leave her once more. Why should their story be so tragic? It's totally, completely, 100% unfair.
@Emisabella she does not... she makes a 'cameo' though in yesterday's episode. which is not even a proper appearance, but it's better than nothing! Watch the episode!
@SupernovikoTardis That's right. I thought it was really unfair that they couldn't be together. To be honest I haven't been able to watch Doctor Who since he regenerated into the eleventh Doctor and there was no chance he could ever see her again.
@LifterC3 No I haven't. To be more precise I can't bear watching them. Doctor's story was already tragic before he regenerated into the eleventh Doctor. I cannot imagine how much worse could it be now. Is Matt Smith good enough in his role?
@Emisabella Believe me.. Like you i stopped watching Doctor Who after David Tennant. Not because i hated the show when he left, but i was busy at school and somehow forgot about it for a very long while. Someday i decided to watch Doctor Who episode again, i remembered David left and i woudnt know if i would still like it. i gave the Eleventh hour a try.and really..Matt Smith is probaly the only man in the world that could have replaced David so well. He is really, really good. please watch it
@LifterC3 I finally watched the Eleventh Hour! Suprisingly enough (for I thought no one could be a good enough Doctor Who after David Tennant) Matt Smith pulled this through with a very decent performance as the Doctor. The trailer of the following episodes looks interesting...I'm gonna give it a shot with a couple more episodes to see whether I feel like watching the full season or not.
@Emisabella alright man nice job.Tell me did you like the episode and what do you think of the eleventh doctor now...to be very, very honest the folowing episode The Beast Bellow,is my least favorite of the whole fifth series but its still a good opener for new fans and to see Matt Smith performance.only the plot is a bit complicated. If you take my advice you should watch the series till episode 4 Time of the angels.its a two parter about weeping angels from series 4.Steven Moffats best creations
@LifterC3 I watched The Beast Below. Why didn't you like it? It's always a shock to me to see the Doctor distressed and out of his usually "crazy" but kind of indifferent mood. I mean, of course he helps everyone, but he rarely reveals anything about him and to see him getting mad at Amy for taking decisions for him, it really made this episode matter for me. As for the Eleventh Hour, the scene where he tastes all kinds of food and then spits it out, it's both disgusting and funny!
@Emisabella ...well... i never said i didnt like it, because thats not true. I liked it, but its a fact that the folowing episodes of this series are far, far better. Also Steven Moffat who wrote this episode has created much better, scarier and inventife storys and i had to see it twice to fully understand the plot. The star whale reveal was however very well done. and its a good series opener. I wasnt very keen on Amys character to at the beginning to but after two seasons she grows on you.
@LifterC3 I guess it was necessary to see him acting like this in the beginning of the episode in order for us to get familiar with him as the new Doctor since he's the same character afterall. It kind of worked for me! Truth be told I'm not really fond of Amy. At least not yet. Perhaps I'll like her better after a few more episodes.
@Emisabella but you still havent awnsered yet, what do you think of the Crack in Amy's wall appearing again. or the mentioning of The Silence will Fall" by prisoner zero? Have you seen the next time trailler of episode 3. its about daleks again. not my favorite Dalek episode, but still a good episode and very well done and i rather rewatch that one instead of Daleks in Manhattan.
@LifterC3 Alright I'm sorry...I didn't mean it that way. I just couldn't understand why it was your least favourite episode. I must confess I might have missed a couple of episodes from the previous seasons and I have no idea what these cracks are or what prisoner zero meant. I'm searching, though, on the internet and I have found nothing. Please can you enlighten me?
@Emisabella For what should you say sorry..? did i sound angry.. i am very sorry if i did! but please dont search for the cracks in time/Silence will fall yet on internet. It will spoil the series finaly.
@Emisabella Prisoner Zero mentioned The Silence in The Eleveneth Hour he said:The Pandorica will open and Silence will fall.It all has to do with the crack in amy's wall remember?it was a Crack in Time. they are two seperate story arcs of the folowing season. The Crack is the story arc of this series 5.Silence will fall is the story arc of series 6.Like Badwolf and Mr. Harold Saxon remember. it is very hard to explain but i cant say more about it.. have you seen Victory of the daleks yet?
@LifterC3 Then it was just a misunderstanding, don't worry. No I haven't been able to watch it yet but as soon as I do I'll let you know! OK I won't search on the internet. Let's see what Moffat has in mind!
@LifterC3 Come on colourful Daleks?! It was hilarious! They looked like candy! I liked the episode, though. Poor Doctor. He has fought them so many times and yet they appear again and again. Another crack on the wall and Amy does not remember the appearance of the planets in the sky...something's really wrong.
@Emisabella i know, those daleks were horrible right?at first i really, really hated them..and i still dont like them. but i am glad they got rid of the Last Dalek thing. I mean it worked in the thirst 2 series but after a while it became predictable. so i am happy they are finnaly back for good. and Amy forgetting the planets all has to do with the cracks and The Silence. also have you seen episode Blink" from series 3 with The weeping angels. because they will be back.
@LifterC3 The Weeping Angels? That was a scary episode. As for the Daleks no matter how annoying they can be with that high pitched voice of theirs, I couldn't stop laughing while the Cybermen and the Daleks were fighting for who should reveal his identity to the other first on season 4 "The Stolen Earth"!
@Emisabella Daleks will always be my number one Monster.i like every signle Dalek story except Evolution of the Daleks from series 3.they just used them because they were popular monsters.i just cant figure out why they especially needed Daleks in that story. Series 2 was my introduction to Doctor Who and Doomsday was my first Dalek episode, i must admit i was kinda voting for the Cybermen at that moment. but dont you think the multi-colored daleks were a bit lame compared with the old disigns?
@LifterC3 Like I said they were hilarious! Actually, they reminded me of the M&M's. Too colourful. But I guess new Doctor, new Daleks. Truth be told everything is new in this season. From Tardis to the Doctor's worst enemy. I'm not sure I like it. At least I'm not used to it yet.
@Emisabella well i was thinking exactly the same. At first i didnt like this new silly doctor. he was to goofy and scatter brained.I also didnt like the new tardis interior.why did it needa make-over? the old one was fine.. Amy anoyed the hell out of me and the new sonic screwdriver seemed like a carrot. But it just kinda grows on you after some time.I love the Eleventh doctor and his tardis and there will be a second compagnion soon. just watch the next episode its really good,i promise that.
@LifterC3 The Wheeping Angels always give me the creeps but these statues without faces.....that was something! I know I hate statues now. Poor Doctor. Didn't he feel annoyed everytime he saw that crack and every enemy creature laughed at him for having no idea what that crack was? First prizoner zero and then the angels. The man River killed was the Doctor, wasn't it? The best man she has ever known?
@Emisabella I think Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone is one the best new who series made by this day dont you think? and whats your epinion about the Tardis and the eleventh Doctor now after seeing these five episodes... didnt your hearth just broke when he had to leave0 that soldier when he was grabbed by the Angel.. The revelations of the crack wont be dissapointing i promise you. but i cant tell you who River Song is going to kill because of.. guess it...SPOILERS.
@LifterC3 They were indeed very nice episodes, scary though. I must admit I have come to like the new Doctor. He is different from the others but in a good way. There were numerous moments I felt sorry for him and thought he was really thoughtful like the scene with Amy where he lives her in the forest with her eyes closed and then comes back and whispers inspiring words. Come on tell me if I'm right about River. Just this one.
@Emisabella I would love to tell you everything about River Song, but you have to believe me, it would ruin the suprise and perhaps the inpact on the moment it "happens". As River said: It cant be told, it has to be lived" You might guess that she is the Doctors future wife, but her story is WAY MORE then that. thats all i can say. And i beg you, no matter how great the tempation, please dont search for it on The Internet. it would spoil everything.

But there is one thing i can tell you... its not a big spoiler.. but more like a teaser.. The Doctor who whispered these inspiring words to Amy wasnt the "actual" Doctor. I know it was kinda hard to notice but that version of him was wearing his tweed jacket while the real Doctor lost it by that angel who grabbed it. It was actually a future version of him, and those words where more then just inspiring whispers. Its not very important but you will she what it means in the Series final episode.

@LifterC3 Seriously?? That wasn't him but a future version of himself? If I tell you I shuddered at that thought, will you believe me? I don't like River Song and I'm certainly not satisfied with the fact that she is his future wife. I won't search on the internet for it, but I bet my life it's him the one she killed. I watched Vampires in Venice too. I didn't like it very much. The idea of vampires was interesting but they ended up alien fish. Not so nice afterall.

@Emisabella You didnt like Vampires in Venice..? i admit t wasnt my season favorite either, escpecially after such a briliant angel two-parter, but still, i think it was beautifle shot and it had some nice moments. The next one is called Amy's choice and is actually one of my favorites, i hope you like that one better. I can see why you dont like River, i hated her in the beginning to.. but dont worry, her character will turn out better.. and her past is quite interresting.
@LifterC3 Scary old people...It was a very interesting episode. Not knowing which world is true and which isn't. It would be really tough for someone to decide if he was in their place. Although I think Amy and Rory make a cute couple, I was kind of disappointed she chose him but I guess it was necessary since River is their daughter, isn't she? Before I began watching this season, I saw a video about season 6 and I think it said something like that.
@Emisabella hmm...i didnt think these old people were scary...i mean come on.they were just walking...you could basicly out-walk them if you want.and i am really, really, really glad Amy chose Rory.I mean come on, did we sirously need ANOTHER female compagnion who was in love with The Doctor.. i am glad they got rid of that and to be honest.. the doctor already has a future wife, hasnt he ...spoilers... i wont say anything about River, but she is not Rory's and Rory daughter..that would be wierd
@LifterC3 You're right. Eyes coming out of old people's mouths wasn't creepy at all. Donna wasn''t in love with the Doctor. That's not a necessary requirement for being the Doctor's companion. I'm just saying I don't like Rory and I definitely don't agree with River being the Doctor's wife.
@Emisabella But the reason why i loved this episode so much is because it isnt a usual Monster of the Week episode, you know what i mean? it isnt a very epic and scyfy story at all,it was actually very low-budget but the idea was just amazing, and very original. And i am not saying i disliked the alien-old people, but they werent the main threath of it all so i dont think the episode depens on them. and Rory is sort of a whimp now, but he is SO FREAKIN badass in series 6. and so are Amy and River.
@LifterC3 Poor Amy. Rory died and she can't even remember he ever existed. I cannot imagine how that would be like. The Doctor brought from the crack a piece of the Tardis. What does that mean? It was about time he got mad that everyone new about the cracks except for him!
@LifterC3 Well it was a very tricky episode to be honest. Humans versus homo reptillia. It is true that the human race wasn't ready to coexist with a new species and I believe they wouldn't be ready even in 1000 years. He was right that people are capable of showing the best of humanity but it's not something that happens everyday. Unfortunately, there is both good and evil in humans and so, after a lot of thinking, I can't blame Ambrose for killing Alaya in order to protect her family.
@LifterC3 It's surely very disappointing the fact that although the homo reptillia were asleep for millions of years and afterall they woke up ready to share the planet with the dominant species, they had to encounter with such a violent behaviour. As for the Doctor, he's adorable like always. Although, like I've said before, I don't particularly like Rory, it was quite tragic that Amy didn't remember he ever existed.
@Emisabella I liked the episode, but sure, it had some flaws... I liked the silirians as the bad guy and the good guy, and even if you didnt like Rory you have to feel a little sorry for both him and Amy. I think the moral of this story was that human arent always so civilized as we think and that sometimes we are the bad alien race. And your question about the Tardis piece... it will be explained in The Pandorica Opens. the next episode is called The Lodger which i like very much.
@Emisabella erm, sorry, the next one is called Vincent and the doctor. The Lodger is the one that follows, Vincent and The Doctor is my favorite episode of whole season. but thats just a matter of taste i think. but you will like it. but did you like The Hungry Earth or not, because you only said it was interresting... which could mean two things.
@Emisabella altough i might warn you. Series 5 is really amazing.and one of my favorite. but it might be a little different from what your used to watch. Moffat style is slightly changed from RTD but i think you will like it anyway. i am not very keen on what i have seen from Series 6 so far. the opening two is fantastic. but i dont like the ones that came after it. but just start with The Eleventh Hour and tell me what you think.
One thing i would've changed, that keeps this from being perfect; atleast to me. The Doctor should've switched "great year" to "fantastic! year", but that's just me
I love the 10th Doctor and Rose, I felt they always loved each other and were the most important people in each other's lives. Nevermind Donna and Martha, they're nothing like Rose was to the Tenth Doctor.
When i see him say goodbye to rose in his way it brings back all the past adventures we all took with him. In his words, he was Brilliant. such emotion is put into his roles as if he has become the character. Thats true acting. Thank you david for all the wonderful memories and good video thanks for uploading
I miss ten and Rose :'( I know everything has it's time and everything has to end, but i still want them back! Some things are worth getting your heart broken for, though.
@MrTorchwood10 I didn't miss out on David's run, I'm watching all his episodes, and I got there when the Holiday specials started to air (like Water of Mars) which, I think is a good thing because if I'd seen more of his episodes earlier, I wouldn't have an appreciation of the new doctor now, the way many people don't want to watch Matt Smith because they miss David.
In my eyes, this was truly the end for the doctor, he never regenerated, he died! it was the perfect ending, Doctor who Series 1-4 will always be the best! Moffet is pathetic for disregarding every companion from the older series! Series 1-4 may aswell not have happened and all the companions might aswell never risked their lives all those times to just be forgotten!
I don't think Moffat has disregarded Old Companions, heck, I think he's done more to take the Old Series into account than RTD. And Eleventh Doc did meet Jo Grant again.
There's even a deleted scene from the Eleventh Hour, which Amy has the Tardis show her all the Archive of Old Companions.
The Doctor travels onwards, he can't just mope about his past all the time, otherwise it be Doctor Wangst!
its not fair, he gets longer witth everyone else, and im still waiting for him to say i love you to rose, she was like his world, billie shouldnt of left niether should david :( makes me sad that we might not see them again they had amazing chemistry!
You can totally hear he is about to cry when he says "really great year." Also, another great touch to this scene is that it is finally snowing for real. This scene is just perfect.
I can't stop crying whenever I watch this scene... He went back to time just to see her, talk to her, see her face for the last time... And she's stuck in a parallel universe, with his "clone", cursed not to ever find out what happened to the Doctor... The real Doctor... The one she fall in love with...
@quikgamer Totally agree! That scene in the new episode with Eleven and the TARDIS could have been so emotional but it was just bleh, whereas stuff like this is wonderful!
I'm not really a fan of RTD but sometimes he just hits it in just the right spot. The plots may be more complex now but you don't really get these moments in the new seasons.
I know they were going to have a human doctor and a pregnant Rose at the end of EOT but I think this works so much better! I love how his travels are ending and hers are beginning and how Ten started and finished on the Powell Estate :D So much more beautiful!
Question: if the Tenth Doctor spoke to Rose in The End of Time, why did she not recognize him when the 9th Doctor regenerated? (I don't recall her ever mentioning this to him during their travels. Or did I miss something?)
@EnigmaDrath Time can be re-written. Rose wouldn't have recognised the Tenth Doctor after he regenerated because in the original version of 2005 the Doctor hadn't gone back in time yet, and so she couldn't have met him. Now that the Doctor has gone back in time to meet Rose a new version of 2005 will have been created in which she met him and perhaps she now recognises him. The original version of 2005 is shown in the episode where he regenerates so we don't see if she does.
I don't think that Smith's doctor is as emotionally appealing as Tennant. First time in the history of doctor who was a regeneration so emotional and feeling. People actually didn't wan't him to regenerate. I don't think Smith can match the high bar , or rather Moffat can't. Sure Smith's doctor is funnier, more confident, but never quite connects to the heart.
@thrill4rishabh He definately pulled at my heart strings when he was locked in the Pandorica. Such a heartbreaking performance from Matt, is was absolutely magnificient.
I loved this episode so much. I really miss David Tennant! He was the best Doctor. Matt Smith is brilliant though and I'm really exited to watch the new christmas episode on saturday.
@MegaAstroFan18 Yeah...but this also reminds us that they had each other, and that's something the Doctor admired. And I just love how even when Rose didn't have a clue who he was and would mean to her, she instantly connected with him. And, on a more superficial note, doesn't she have the most beautiful smile in the world?
@ghidorah15 Meh, I think the Doctor's over her now. The Tenth Doctor was mostly satisfied with the Clone Doctor being with her because in that sense he technically did get to be with her and her with him. Just like a regeneration the Clone Doctor is an aspect of the Doctor himself. And the Eleventh Doctor doesn't even really understand romance, not with a human anyways.
@MegaAstroFan18 I don't think Ten was satisfied with her being with the Clone at all, as much as he tried to convince himself that he is. I think he regrets that decision now. As for Eleven being "over her", it is more the way Moffat is writing the show. It's like she never even existed! And I do think Eleven understands romance, he's just not in love with anyone who appears in season 5.
@legendarymermaid Because the Doctor doesn't look back. It's too soon to reference Rose AGAIN. She's with the Clone, it's over, done. The Doctor's had many flames over his life, Rose was merely the latest. He was married before remember, had kids, one of those kids had Susan. The Eleventh Doctor's more alien, so he doesn't understand romance in the same way as a human. So yes, the Doctor is satisfied and is over Rose.
@MegaAstroFan18 There was *never* anything mere about her. Don't dismiss her as Moffat has - that's a tremendous injustice to her and what she shared with the Doctor (both the Ninth and the Tenth). You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
@ghidorah15 Moffat's moving on. You ought to get over it and learn to move on. What about what the Doctor shared with Romana? Or Sarah Jane Smith? School Reunion was trying point out that the Doctor had similar feelings for many of his previous companions. The Tenth Doctor was just in touch with humanity enough to try and express his feelings. In fact the Doctor's mentioned that the companion's departure he regrets most is actually Susan, his granddaughter. Go learn DW before telling me off.
@MegaAstroFan18 "Moving on"? Severing all ties to the show that used to be, regressing the Doctor's character into being a nasty, dishonest, and manipulative jerk, ignoring Rose as if she never existed...if that's your idea of "moving on", I'll do without. And for the record, "School Reunion" *didn't* make Rose out to be nothing unique. Since when has the Doctor ever expressed a willingness to let any companion stay with him forever, pain and all? I'm not the one who needs to "get over it".
@ghidorah15 Go watch the rest of Doctor Who, all of the original serials, immerse yourself in what Doctor Who is, then come back and talk to me. I'm not discussing this with a twit who doesn't know anything about Doctor Who at all, or its style or storytelling.
@MegaAstroFan18 Please don't call someone a "twit" just because she happens to disagree with you. ghidorah15 may or may not have seen the original Doctor Who series, but either way, I would not say that she knows nothing about Doctor Who. Her comments seem intelligent and insightful and I agree with her. So, please don't be so rude.
@ghidorah15 Exactly! Moffat is not "moving on". He's completely ignoring Rose. That and "moving on" are two totally different things. Besides, if it weren't for Rose, the Doctor would probably have never "moved on" from the Time War in the first place.
@legendarymermaid You're telling me. Moffat seems determined to make everyone believe that his "Doctor Who" is automatically better than RTD's, even though it lacks the heart and soul and life of what's come before...and, unfortunately, people seem to be buying it. (Not everyone, thankfully.) I really wish that the series would get a showrunner who actually respects this period in the Doctor's life and doesn't pretend that he's completely inhuman.
@ghidorah15 Moffat needs to wake up. The only way "his" Doctor Who could be as good as (let alone better than RTD's) is if he brought Rose back and got rid of the human doctor. (The human doctor is the biggest mistake RTD ever came up with in my opinion.) And yes, Rose does have the most beautiful smile:)
okay so now I've lost 2 doctors </3

T.T i cried my eyeballs out... its amazing that two different characters (yes, the 9th and 10th Doctor are technically the same person but in a way, they differ greatly in many aspects eg preferances and characteristics) would still retain the love they have for one person... but, does that mean that when he changes from the 9th to the 10th, she recognizes him? :)

Her Theme song tears me up every time I hear it. In it you can just hear the purity and the swetness that is Rose. When She said 'See ya' I bawled! lol

This story really was utter shit.
midianholic 5 months ago
Every freaking time I watch this, i cry... I've been avoiding for months to watch it again, but i couldn't... so tragic... so bloody tragic... i hate that finale, but i love it at the same time. I know the doctor loved her... it can't be something else... why now it's like she never existed? and why is river song better than rose. shit... :(
SupernovikoTardis 6 months ago
I had never watched the end of the Tenth Doctor before. I didn't know he met Rose one last time before he changed. It should be even harder for him to leave her once more. Why should their story be so tragic? It's totally, completely, 100% unfair.

@loganlegomaniac Excuse me what??? She returns in series 6?? Rose Tyler returns in series 6??

@Emisabella she does not... she makes a 'cameo' though in yesterday's episode. which is not even a proper appearance, but it's better than nothing! Watch the episode!

SupernovikoTardis 6 months ago
@SupernovikoTardis That's right. I thought it was really unfair that they couldn't be together. To be honest I haven't been able to watch Doctor Who since he regenerated into the eleventh Doctor and there was no chance he could ever see her again.
Emisabella 6 months ago
@Emisabella what?? really, havent you seen any of the episode of Series 5 or 6??
LifterC3 6 months ago
@LifterC3 No I haven't. To be more precise I can't bear watching them. Doctor's story was already tragic before he regenerated into the eleventh Doctor. I cannot imagine how much worse could it be now. Is Matt Smith good enough in his role?
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella Believe me.. Like you i stopped watching Doctor Who after David Tennant. Not because i hated the show when he left, but i was busy at school and somehow forgot about it for a very long while. Someday i decided to watch Doctor Who episode again, i remembered David left and i woudnt know if i would still like it. i gave the Eleventh hour a try.and really..Matt Smith is probaly the only man in the world that could have replaced David so well. He is really, really good. please watch it
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 I finally watched the Eleventh Hour! Suprisingly enough (for I thought no one could be a good enough Doctor Who after David Tennant) Matt Smith pulled this through with a very decent performance as the Doctor. The trailer of the following episodes looks interesting...I'm gonna give it a shot with a couple more episodes to see whether I feel like watching the full season or not.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella alright man nice job.Tell me did you like the episode and what do you think of the eleventh doctor now...to be very, very honest the folowing episode The Beast Bellow,is my least favorite of the whole fifth series but its still a good opener for new fans and to see Matt Smith performance.only the plot is a bit complicated. If you take my advice you should watch the series till episode 4 Time of the angels.its a two parter about weeping angels from series 4.Steven Moffats best creations
LifterC3 5 months ago
@Emisabella sorry, the from series 3 i mean, and what do you think about the crack in amys wall?
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 I watched The Beast Below. Why didn't you like it? It's always a shock to me to see the Doctor distressed and out of his usually "crazy" but kind of indifferent mood. I mean, of course he helps everyone, but he rarely reveals anything about him and to see him getting mad at Amy for taking decisions for him, it really made this episode matter for me. As for the Eleventh Hour, the scene where he tastes all kinds of food and then spits it out, it's both disgusting and funny!
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella ...well... i never said i didnt like it, because thats not true. I liked it, but its a fact that the folowing episodes of this series are far, far better. Also Steven Moffat who wrote this episode has created much better, scarier and inventife storys and i had to see it twice to fully understand the plot. The star whale reveal was however very well done. and its a good series opener. I wasnt very keen on Amys character to at the beginning to but after two seasons she grows on you.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 I guess it was necessary to see him acting like this in the beginning of the episode in order for us to get familiar with him as the new Doctor since he's the same character afterall. It kind of worked for me! Truth be told I'm not really fond of Amy. At least not yet. Perhaps I'll like her better after a few more episodes.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella but you still havent awnsered yet, what do you think of the Crack in Amy's wall appearing again. or the mentioning of The Silence will Fall" by prisoner zero? Have you seen the next time trailler of episode 3. its about daleks again. not my favorite Dalek episode, but still a good episode and very well done and i rather rewatch that one instead of Daleks in Manhattan.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 Alright I'm sorry...I didn't mean it that way. I just couldn't understand why it was your least favourite episode. I must confess I might have missed a couple of episodes from the previous seasons and I have no idea what these cracks are or what prisoner zero meant. I'm searching, though, on the internet and I have found nothing. Please can you enlighten me?
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella For what should you say sorry..? did i sound angry.. i am very sorry if i did! but please dont search for the cracks in time/Silence will fall yet on internet. It will spoil the series finaly.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@Emisabella Prisoner Zero mentioned The Silence in The Eleveneth Hour he said:The Pandorica will open and Silence will fall.It all has to do with the crack in amy's wall remember?it was a Crack in Time. they are two seperate story arcs of the folowing season. The Crack is the story arc of this series 5.Silence will fall is the story arc of series 6.Like Badwolf and Mr. Harold Saxon remember. it is very hard to explain but i cant say more about it.. have you seen Victory of the daleks yet?
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 Then it was just a misunderstanding, don't worry. No I haven't been able to watch it yet but as soon as I do I'll let you know! OK I won't search on the internet. Let's see what Moffat has in mind!
Emisabella 5 months ago
@LifterC3 Come on colourful Daleks?! It was hilarious! They looked like candy! I liked the episode, though. Poor Doctor. He has fought them so many times and yet they appear again and again. Another crack on the wall and Amy does not remember the appearance of the planets in the sky...something's really wrong.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella i know, those daleks were horrible right?at first i really, really hated them..and i still dont like them. but i am glad they got rid of the Last Dalek thing. I mean it worked in the thirst 2 series but after a while it became predictable. so i am happy they are finnaly back for good. and Amy forgetting the planets all has to do with the cracks and The Silence. also have you seen episode Blink" from series 3 with The weeping angels. because they will be back.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 The Weeping Angels? That was a scary episode. As for the Daleks no matter how annoying they can be with that high pitched voice of theirs, I couldn't stop laughing while the Cybermen and the Daleks were fighting for who should reveal his identity to the other first on season 4 "The Stolen Earth"!
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella Daleks will always be my number one Monster.i like every signle Dalek story except Evolution of the Daleks from series 3.they just used them because they were popular monsters.i just cant figure out why they especially needed Daleks in that story. Series 2 was my introduction to Doctor Who and Doomsday was my first Dalek episode, i must admit i was kinda voting for the Cybermen at that moment. but dont you think the multi-colored daleks were a bit lame compared with the old disigns?
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 Like I said they were hilarious! Actually, they reminded me of the M&M's. Too colourful. But I guess new Doctor, new Daleks. Truth be told everything is new in this season. From Tardis to the Doctor's worst enemy. I'm not sure I like it. At least I'm not used to it yet.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella well i was thinking exactly the same. At first i didnt like this new silly doctor. he was to goofy and scatter brained.I also didnt like the new tardis interior.why did it needa make-over? the old one was fine.. Amy anoyed the hell out of me and the new sonic screwdriver seemed like a carrot. But it just kinda grows on you after some time.I love the Eleventh doctor and his tardis and there will be a second compagnion soon. just watch the next episode its really good,i promise that.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 The Wheeping Angels always give me the creeps but these statues without faces.....that was something! I know I hate statues now. Poor Doctor. Didn't he feel annoyed everytime he saw that crack and every enemy creature laughed at him for having no idea what that crack was? First prizoner zero and then the angels. The man River killed was the Doctor, wasn't it? The best man she has ever known?
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella I think Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone is one the best new who series made by this day dont you think? and whats your epinion about the Tardis and the eleventh Doctor now after seeing these five episodes... didnt your hearth just broke when he had to leave0 that soldier when he was grabbed by the Angel.. The revelations of the crack wont be dissapointing i promise you. but i cant tell you who River Song is going to kill because of.. guess it...SPOILERS.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 They were indeed very nice episodes, scary though. I must admit I have come to like the new Doctor. He is different from the others but in a good way. There were numerous moments I felt sorry for him and thought he was really thoughtful like the scene with Amy where he lives her in the forest with her eyes closed and then comes back and whispers inspiring words. Come on tell me if I'm right about River. Just this one.
Emisabella 5 months ago

LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 Scary old people...It was a very interesting episode. Not knowing which world is true and which isn't. It would be really tough for someone to decide if he was in their place. Although I think Amy and Rory make a cute couple, I was kind of disappointed she chose him but I guess it was necessary since River is their daughter, isn't she? Before I began watching this season, I saw a video about season 6 and I think it said something like that.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella hmm...i didnt think these old people were scary...i mean come on.they were just walking...you could basicly out-walk them if you want.and i am really, really, really glad Amy chose Rory.I mean come on, did we sirously need ANOTHER female compagnion who was in love with The Doctor.. i am glad they got rid of that and to be honest.. the doctor already has a future wife, hasnt he ...spoilers... i wont say anything about River, but she is not Rory's and Rory daughter..that would be wierd
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 You're right. Eyes coming out of old people's mouths wasn't creepy at all. Donna wasn''t in love with the Doctor. That's not a necessary requirement for being the Doctor's companion. I'm just saying I don't like Rory and I definitely don't agree with River being the Doctor's wife.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella But the reason why i loved this episode so much is because it isnt a usual Monster of the Week episode, you know what i mean? it isnt a very epic and scyfy story at all,it was actually very low-budget but the idea was just amazing, and very original. And i am not saying i disliked the alien-old people, but they werent the main threath of it all so i dont think the episode depens on them. and Rory is sort of a whimp now, but he is SO FREAKIN badass in series 6. and so are Amy and River.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 Poor Amy. Rory died and she can't even remember he ever existed. I cannot imagine how that would be like. The Doctor brought from the crack a piece of the Tardis. What does that mean? It was about time he got mad that everyone new about the cracks except for him!
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella before asking queations, what did you think of the episode?
LifterC3 5 months ago
@LifterC3 Well it was a very tricky episode to be honest. Humans versus homo reptillia. It is true that the human race wasn't ready to coexist with a new species and I believe they wouldn't be ready even in 1000 years. He was right that people are capable of showing the best of humanity but it's not something that happens everyday. Unfortunately, there is both good and evil in humans and so, after a lot of thinking, I can't blame Ambrose for killing Alaya in order to protect her family.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@LifterC3 It's surely very disappointing the fact that although the homo reptillia were asleep for millions of years and afterall they woke up ready to share the planet with the dominant species, they had to encounter with such a violent behaviour. As for the Doctor, he's adorable like always. Although, like I've said before, I don't particularly like Rory, it was quite tragic that Amy didn't remember he ever existed.
Emisabella 5 months ago
@LifterC3 I think I answered your question. Isn't it about time you answered mine? What did you think of the episode?
Emisabella 5 months ago
@Emisabella I liked the episode, but sure, it had some flaws... I liked the silirians as the bad guy and the good guy, and even if you didnt like Rory you have to feel a little sorry for both him and Amy. I think the moral of this story was that human arent always so civilized as we think and that sometimes we are the bad alien race. And your question about the Tardis piece... it will be explained in The Pandorica Opens. the next episode is called The Lodger which i like very much.
LifterC3 5 months ago in playlist Doctor 10/Rose
@Emisabella erm, sorry, the next one is called Vincent and the doctor. The Lodger is the one that follows, Vincent and The Doctor is my favorite episode of whole season. but thats just a matter of taste i think. but you will like it. but did you like The Hungry Earth or not, because you only said it was interresting... which could mean two things.
LifterC3 5 months ago
@Emisabella altough i might warn you. Series 5 is really amazing.and one of my favorite. but it might be a little different from what your used to watch. Moffat style is slightly changed from RTD but i think you will like it anyway. i am not very keen on what i have seen from Series 6 so far. the opening two is fantastic. but i dont like the ones that came after it. but just start with The Eleventh Hour and tell me what you think.

HermioneCullen1 6 months ago
In my eyes, this was truly the end for the doctor, he never regenerated, he died! it was the perfect ending, Doctor who Series 1-4 will always be the best! Moffet is pathetic for disregarding every companion from the older series! Series 1-4 may aswell not have happened and all the companions might aswell never risked their lives all those times to just be forgotten!
Dan10093 7 months ago
@Dan10093
I say, Smith & Moffat are doing a good job.

Question: if the Tenth Doctor spoke to Rose in The End of Time, why did she not recognize him when the 9th Doctor regenerated? (I don't recall her ever mentioning this to him during their travels. Or did I miss something?)
EnigmaDrath 11 months ago
@EnigmaDrath Well, I don't remember every random drunk that I've met, especially if I've had a few. The same is probably true of Rose.
GusF 11 months ago
@EnigmaDrath Time can be re-written. Rose wouldn't have recognised the Tenth Doctor after he regenerated because in the original version of 2005 the Doctor hadn't gone back in time yet, and so she couldn't have met him. Now that the Doctor has gone back in time to meet Rose a new version of 2005 will have been created in which she met him and perhaps she now recognises him. The original version of 2005 is shown in the episode where he regenerates so we don't see if she does.
TW3323R 9 months ago
I don't think that Smith's doctor is as emotionally appealing as Tennant. First time in the history of doctor who was a regeneration so emotional and feeling. People actually didn't wan't him to regenerate. I don't think Smith can match the high bar , or rather Moffat can't. Sure Smith's doctor is funnier, more confident, but never quite connects to the heart.

MegaAstroFan18 1 year ago
@MegaAstroFan18 Yeah...but this also reminds us that they had each other, and that's something the Doctor admired. And I just love how even when Rose didn't have a clue who he was and would mean to her, she instantly connected with him. And, on a more superficial note, doesn't she have the most beautiful smile in the world?
ghidorah15 1 year ago
@ghidorah15 Meh, I think the Doctor's over her now. The Tenth Doctor was mostly satisfied with the Clone Doctor being with her because in that sense he technically did get to be with her and her with him. Just like a regeneration the Clone Doctor is an aspect of the Doctor himself. And the Eleventh Doctor doesn't even really understand romance, not with a human anyways.
MegaAstroFan18 1 year ago

Saddest scene of the season.

Does anyone else feeling like in season 5 it was as if Rose had never even existed? That really annoys the heck out of me!

Wish rose returns alongside the human doctor.
David Tennant may return in 2013 in a 50th anniversary special.
