The strike, at the time, wasn't meant for racing. It was meant for kids to have fun in there driveway, so don't hate on it because it sucks on the track. If you want a pure racer that's a losi, get a xxxsct. That thing will own on the track, but it will break in the strikes territory. I don't even own a losi, but I do respect there strikes intentions: to have a great time out side, with out the competition.
are you kidding me how is this truck a rip off???? it comes with aluminum shocks the bind n drive model is 100 bucks thats what 200 dollars cheaper than a slash? most people who get a strike expect it to go 60 mph and most likely dont even race it these trucks are good dont listen to all the other people who talk bad
@GOLD3NxPRODUCTIONS XD haha sorry this was my first vid ever and i was like 13? maybe idk.... but i will be getting a new rc pretty soon and i will make a vid that will be 10x better.
@hockey9dude4life lol i was just messin' man. This one kind of helped me out with knowing how huge the short course truck is. I got an HPI Blitz 1/10th and it's the size of 1/8th
@REXXDG134 no just looked cool and it was the most hyped truck when i bought it it was 2 days old at my lhs and i really liked the look of the sct style. but now i have a hpi blitz a rc18t and still the losi strike.
@hockey9dude4life hey idk if you hasve heard but that truck is discontinued and they are being sold at the LHS where i work for $100. and finding parts for that truck will be nearly impossible in like 4 months. and also to include that if it was discontinued 4 months after it debuted then it must really be a piece of shit.
Dude with the stock speed controller and a 3300 nimh battery it seems like my strike hesitates when i punch it full blast, almost like it is going through gears to get to top speed, does that happen to you too ?
I love my Strike! With NiMH, it had ok power and was overall smelly. Plopped a 20$ Turniggy LiPo 3300mAh 30c in and it hauls! The ESC switches from LiPo to NiMH power with the press of a button. :)
For $175 +batts it is a steal! Only broken part is a lower shock mount from landing bad from huge air. ($5 for a set of 4)
@s7ai hello and thanks and i would drive it but the dogbones carved slits into my outdrives so i have yet to order them sorry for the long comment reply wait
losi striker is almost half the price of all the other cars in its league, and its probably the best one, problem is that this hobby is becoming a bit snobby and people are thinking that they have to spend big money to get the respect from rc car owners. i have over 50 rc cars, trucks and i can tell you that some cars out there are priced at double what they should be like the savage flux, that truck is not worth a penny over £330 but because people want to be in the club
@Naturepheonix@Naturepheonix well the truck is very high quality , the 2.4GHZ is standard so yeah , also the shock are awesome (allu oil filled) then the tranny is really reliable, it is Brushless ready, but if you have a very powerful Setup, go with the Ball diff which is bullet proof... then the chassis is light and well balanced, BUT the only thing that really suck are the tire which are not for comp. at all , they are powersliding in the dirt , no grip....
lol, you should at least talk about how the truck drives, I have a desert truck which drives great with brushless, too bad losi decided to use highroller chassis on the strike instead of the xxx-t chassis. Had they used the xxx-t chasis like the DT, im sure the strike would sell alot better.
exceed lol i race strikes with my slash and they kill the strikes and the strike is cheaper and not as durable and no they dont sell them there and u dont have a strike class u have (slash) class so know wat ur talking about before u talk junk ur name is exceed rc which is made in china which suck so get something durable and american made nice video
all Short Course trucks flip easy.... Tires are just fine for street, I race on an indoor tarmac track in Gaithersburg MD. I agree on the turnbuckles... man they break constantly. But this is the least flip happy SC truck that I have tested. Tried Slash and a buddy has a strike too and a blitz. We both like the strike the most when comparing all of them stock
yea i currently have rc10gt turnbuckles on and they last pretty long and i have went through a traxxas titan 12t and a losi 12t in 10 battry packs the losi lasted about 8 and the traxxas about 2 and i burn up motors pretty easy any suggestions? thanks
yeah the bumpers are so strong my friend ran mine which has a velinean and lipos into a wall and it put a hole in the wall !
