Hows your timing belt? i heard they go out at like 50 miles. Ask my friend how. ever since he got it, its been in the shop 90% of the time. don't get the TT 1.8t. its the same motor as in the beetle, golf, etc. Its a ticking time bomb. get the 3.2 if your value your money.
anyways, i think TT's look like a squashed beetle, as in VW beetle.
I have a 2002 225 TT and I changed my timing belt at 80k miles. I had it inspected 3 times in-between 50k and 70k miles and the dealership recommended I changed it around 62k when I brought it in to them the 2nd time. I ended up taking it to a Euro shop that works on Ferraris, BMWs, Audis, and Volkswagens and they suggested I wait until 80k to change it because it looked fine to them at the time.
Which exhaust is that, you say its 42 draft designs downpipe and APR 3" cat-back? I looked into there site and they got just one of those lame pillow case exhaust cans. You have a nice 3" pipe to a Y then 2 beautiful exhaust's. I Have the downpipe and stock cat-back and I dont want the regular exhaust style and I want to eliminate the second muffler.
I personaly got this APR Exhaust customized from scratch by APR, so i paid more money to have them do it. If you call them they will probably do the same if you are a serious buyer, but it took them two months, but it was well worth the wait. I drive around town with about 5-8psi thats well below the normal boost range and i still smoke risers and give sti's a run for their money,
@OutyinmyAudi604 thats the older apr that is the 2 cans the new one is as you say a pillow case but it sounds much nicer and audis only have 1 muffler
haven't dynod it yet but im guessing around 280bhp, that is with 5-7psi on my new turbo. I still don't have it rechipped yet, so im planning to make 300awhp very easily with new injectors and tune.
nice work man.
