I have to admit, she is a good dancer but i have tried to dance in the street with isis wings and they just don't have the same afect as they do on stage. But do i think they r stupid HELL NO!

it's sira, she is an amazing dancer. it is so ignorant and mean to say "stupid american" wings, they are used in egypt too. people like shiny stuff all over the world. fuck off.

She isnt bad, so sad she has to resort to dancing in NYC streets, terrible venue and low class. Also she should lose the stupid American "wings", they distract.

There was a street festival going on and the restaurants along 9th Avenue set up tables and chairs on the sidewalks and in the streets infront of their stores. The bellydancer was (I assume) performing for the customers in those chairs of this particular restaurant when the crowd formed around her.

Actually, it's considered an honor to dance at the Ninth Ave International Festival, one that attracts over a million people in NYC....The dancer is Sira from NYC and she's fantastic...and the "stupid American Wings" are a crowd pleaser, and well the audience being largely American I'm pretty sure that it went over pretty well.

This was a cultural festival, we do it all the time in America. Its a great way to familiarize people with the dance that ordinarily wouldn't get a chance to see it.

It's a little hard to tell because of the picture quality, but I believe it's Sira, an amazing bellydancer from NYC.
