  • the song is money this video is pennies

  • Whatever happend to them and the soul assassins?

  • @drstantz1 They're still making music. Soul assassins released a really good album bout a year ago.

  • 3:30 as they say if your soul loves the sun, and he points to the moon lol

  • the only reason i listen to this version is because i cant put any other ones on my playlists

  • time to upload the instrumental ^^

  • this is the remix done by buckwild from diggin in the crates. dj muggs produed the album version. they both hot tracks and timeless

  • one of favorite albums of the 90's flawless in my ears Muggs did a very good job

  • Bah vevo

  • Front row back in the day St. Paul. Cypress/ Pain/ and DOOBIES and I was high as a mutha fuck . . So funny too cuz cops didn't know what to do at THIS show so so so we just did whatever.

Best time I ever had at a show..like 15 years later n I still don't know how I got home but I remember high fiven' all those dudes! My little hot Italian wife was with me, remember? FUCKING BIGGEST BLUNT I HAVE EVER SEEN AND the Mexicans are going fuckin bananas!

  • fuck censorship

  • @SoulAssassin1983 thats garbage. fuck vevo. censoring and having a 18+ for some shit is garbage. whats the point of an Artist's expression being censored, when you have the critics pouring the foulest, racist, closeminded, obnoxious, rude, or even personal remarks that they can out of there demon holes. fuck that. plus i swere when they censor, it fucks up the quality.

  • love this version

  • the guy in start always plays a douche in rap videos, like lupe fiasco - dumb it down

  • now i know what they mean when they say "if your soul loves the sun, money rock on".....

  • @The808Prophet What does it mean exactly?

  • @acenumbah1 the sun represents good. so if u like good and not evil, rock on!

  • I waited through 15 seconds of corporate bullshit for a censored video. I used to think you were cool, YouTube.

  • @americant001

You must know that VEVO does this kind of "tricks"

when you read VEVO don't click it!!

VEVO sucks, but so many videos are uploaded on they're channels..

so sad..real talks can't be censored..

  • evolved Cypress Hill version!

  • this that ish. Hot Holla! Rock on 4Eva! HIP HOP!!!

  • funkdoobiest on vevo? weird.....

  • @mug3nfl0w whats wrong with people bitching about VEVO? the music/video is still on YT. We don't have to pay to watch it etc. If VEVO is next to their name makes them commercial in any way, because LadyGagaVEVO, biber have it too? I don't think so.. And if Funkdoobiest is making $ thanks to VEVO im very happy for them because Funkdoobiest deserve it. The only thing you can dislike about VEVO is censoring bad words... and thats about it. AD's from VEVO on the video? <- use Adblock Plus add-on

  • @sebastiansz you must not know or have grown up in society where freedom of speech is decapitated because your words were expressed thru the hood. hiphop couldnt come on until after 10 or 11 because of the content. its offensive. walmart censors cds. same concept. why would an artist make an album spend money. and have walmart remix it lol... dj vevo. fuck that. lets jus say i'd be much more convinced if people had the option 2 listen to it censored or not.

  • @mug3nfl0w vevo is ran by record companies...so anything that belongs to sony will be on vevo most likely

  • Mad dope. damn my age, i was too young to experience this shit

  • The girls in the video are gettin wild

  • /watch?v=mPJX6fAp6sA

    /watch?v=mPJX6fAp6sA

    /watch?v=mPJX6fAp6sA

    /watch?v=mPJX6fAp6sA

  • classs sick! both versions are money

  • The original version is better. but this is very dope too :D

  • It pisses me off that this only has 150k views

  • UH, does B REAL know he's being ripped off! LAME!

  • @catdaddyegon Nah son, Dj Muggs produced beats for these cats with good reason, dope album from start to finish.

  • I like this mix a lot better, was disappointed when it wasn't on the album. This might be my favorite song ever!

  • i like the original version better. beats more chill. but still this is dope.

  • this video could be 10 times as awesome if it had the album beat.

  • Man I remember nights of mad parties and then chilling at 5-6 in the morning with a some nice weed to this classic.

  • I don't think these dudes ever made a track that wasn't dope

  • A Bow wow wow yippy yo yippy ya to da funk ! I remember rolling to that @^ back in the day!

  • i grew up on this record too! fire!

  • More science dropped in 4 minutes than the last 10 years of "rap". Do the math.

  • you can hear the Tribe in em

  • Man i dont no why this song makes me feel like there nothing to worry about

  • This joint still bangs after 17 yrs! But I still want to know the original song that was sampled. Does anyone know?

  • @PeekaBooo08 It samples a track called "Together" by Cannonball Adderly.

  • @roboshuffle Thank you sir! Now please do me one more favor: "ROCK ON!!!" LoL

  • @roszja1 Just uploaded "Rock On" 12" remixes on my 90s hip-hop blog: geneMEAL.com

    Peace.

  • greatest crew

  • What happaned to his time of hip hop, every song had a message, EVERY single one, whether it was politically, religiously, or rapped about lifes hard times or your "Everyday Struggle". Beats were smooth, and had a flow, you either rapped about fuckin bitches while the cops were after you, or getting out of the hood and rapping why you can't or what happens. Lyrics were beast, sampling was perfect, 90's Hip Hop was PERFECT.

  • interesting lyrics if looked at esoterically

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...the most beauty instrumental I have listen in ma fuckin'm bored life!!!

  • 6 people arnt rocking on right now

  • one of the most overlooked artists of all time

  • FUKK VEVO

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like cypress hill

  • @1995fordsc That's because DJ Muggs produced the first few albums that the Funkdoobiest made.

P.S. DJ Muggs is Cypress' Producer :)

  • These guys have my seal of approval. Good to see that they made another album in the 2000's. Most 90's rappers fell off or went stale before the millennium.

  • @afrojayjay not really. A lot of them saw where the game was headed and didnt wanna sell their soul for an extra dollar.

  • @SW4TR3PP1N Naw man some did that...alot more got ate up by the politics and red tape and legal shit in their contracts and labels...Or got stale haha...It's a shame but it happened

  • @BigBeanSS there's still real sh*t its just underground now

  • @SW4TR3PP1N Most definitely, I was just saying not all of them went holier than thou for hip hop and their artistic integrity.ALOT of cats in the 90's got seriously fucked over to where they couldn't make "moves" anymore on the level they did before. Some couldn't keep up, it happens in anything. I think Independent is Raps future...The labels are b.s. as you and I know, Label politics are used to "nueter" our music creativity and diversity. Indie and U.G. is where it's at right now for sure.

  • Giving up is just as bad as selling your soul.

  • I love this song!..I also did a song off this beat...beautiful, soothing and connects to the soul

  • Come on FUNKDOODIEST COME BACK YO! COME BACK.. I know you you have more stories to tell

  • @DJlilrascal Oh shit I wrote funkdoodiest LOL My bad I'm fucked up right now Funkdoobiest *

  • New Genration Off Cypres hill

  • the original beat is so much better, but still ill beat! ill song. i pray for the day when people will open their eyes and see that this is the real deal.

  • @ErlendYo91 i was wonderinng if this was a remix

  • O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L

  • so much meaning

  • FUK "Sony" and FUK "Vevo"!

All REAL Hip Hop belong's to those who created it.

    PeacE!

  • channeling cypress hill, boyeeeeeeeeee

  • Correct me if I am wrong, but, this aint the version from the album, right? This beat don't sound familiar at all.

  • @millerfat This is the 'BuckWild' Remix.....The best version in my humble B-Boy opinion. I got the instrumental for this remix as well.

    Rock On!

  • buenisimo old svhool, lo mejor simplemente...

  • i love niggers

  • i love niggers

  • I cant imagine anything better to skate to

  • exhale.....the real....hiphop....funkdoobiest has always been keepin it real to the point that it's right...

  • you guys all sound gay...these beats were the sickest though ...no reason to sound gay about it.

  • Kids jus dont know what they missin these days

  • These cats are the epitome of real hip hop.....damn I miss this..peace funk doob..

  • Funkdoobiest, is playing next Thursday 05/13/10 @ The Granada (17 S. first street Alhambra, CA 91801) show starts at 8pm and tickets are 10 dollars at the door. Other bands such as Pachama, Dirty hands, The Delirians and etc will be performing. Proceeds from this show will help to start a radio station at CSU Los Angeles.

  • Where can I find the video version to this song? I have been searching for years.

  • Comment removed
