  • Should have been more REAL boss tracks. Cut Man and Wood Man were here, and it should have been one of the eight in their place, they're only cameos, and they are only in the Saturn version.

This tracklist could have been better.

  • Why the FUCK don't they make a new megaman game with these graphics!?!?! When we said we wanted a classic megaman side scroller again, we didn't mean FUCKING 8-bit! Shit even Megaman 7 graphics would have been better than going back to Megaman 1-6 graphics lol.

Seriously, what was Capcom thinking with megaman 9 and 10? I can't be the only person who thinks this. Fucking bullshit if you ask me...

  • @dss103 I can Understand Mega man 9 because fans most wanted it in 8-bit, But Yeah why wasn't I in this kind of Graphics that would be so awesome.

  • best game ever!

  • i have something agenst the game, like clown man

  • oh yeah and groovy music was best.

  • I can't believe I completely forgot about this game. The graphics are so nice.

  • Wow, the bass is so good in some of these tracks,

I especially like the 1st and last songs.

  • One of the hardest game on the Earth I think...

  • @Budoooooooo that means you didn't play many games. i think it's one of the easiest mega man games.

  • I've played a lot of hard game and I usually finished them in their hardest modes.

For exemple I finished Viewtifull Joe in Ultra V mode or the first Castlevania on the NES and so on ans so on (all the missions of F-Zero GX in hard mode, etc.).

But I admit that I'm not a huge Megaman's fan and so I can't compare this game with the others of the serie.

  • I think Grenade Man's theme could have been in this video... :/

  • The thing I liked most about this game was that every weapon (possibly with the exception of Water Balloon) had its purpose, and the level designs worked wonderfully with it.

  • Looking at this, a Mega Man 9 on a 128 bit system would have been a mistake. This game wasn't bad, but it just wasn't exciting anymore. Somehow the real MM9 managed to bring back that excitement by going retro, and I can't even explain why.

  • 128 bit system?

  • Like Xbox, Gamecube, PS2 & (to some) Dreamcast.

  • ahh. but those system's processors werent measured in bits. at least i dont think so

  • Excellent music for an excellent game, but Iliked the saturn version better. =D

  • This music sounds really awesome, better than the other psx megamans i think :/

  • I think this game catches a lot of flak. It may not be Mega Man 3, but they really did produce a high quality game that tried to be somewhat faithful to the originals while at the same time adding new ideas to keep the series somewhat fresh.

  • It wasn't a terrible game *cough*MMX6*cough*, but it's definitely the black sheep of the classic series. My guess is because the style is so different. Sure, the graphics are more detailed, but the STYLE is different, and it doesn't quite fit. Although music was good, sound effects were TERRIBLE, as were voices. Add in some frustrating level design (jump jump slide slide), and it becomes pretty obvious why fans don't dig it. Oh, and the plot was disposable for some reason.

  • @GoldenJoe I really like both this and X6. at least X6 had great Music and was 2D unlike X7 and I some how find X5 more boring then X6, Maybe because of X6's Difficultly.

  • Not really fond of this game but the music was fitting. I'm glad they went old school for MM9
