@opticfibers actually a nice list of beautifull bands, and for me its not critical whether they are goth-metal bands or not, people from the blackscene will love them nevertheless (@Ghostblood1334 in the videotitle it says goth-rock/metal, most of the bands you listed are 80s Darkwave bands, some of them developed later to goth-rock.) but i really miss the great founder names of the gothic-metal genre, Celtic Frost, Danzig, Paradise Lost, Fields of the Nephilim, Tiamat, My Dying Bride...

Somehow thus, between literature and mythology Gothic culture passes the door of 20th henceforth century. The humanity however, is found again confronted with the horror of war. By this are mainly influenced literature and cinema which are at their early beginnings.
